A gripping Drianca storyline left me on the edge of my seat the entire episode.  Farlie’s awkwardness was endearing.  Sav headlines pointless plot with yet another celebrity cameo, this time with Keke Palmer.

1103 – LoveGame: B (Eli/Clare/Jake) | C- (KC/Jenna)
Eli and Clare’s first encounter since Season 10 is an enjoyable emotional rollercoaster.  KC and Jenna are still just a couple of characters who are “just there.”

1104 – What’s My Age Again?: C+ (Anya) | B (Connor) | B+ (KC)
Anya’s behavior is too sporadic to feel believable.  We get a compelling look at how socially awkward Connor really is.  Though KC’s actions are sending him down the wrong path, it finally gives his and Jenna’s storyline a sense of direction.

1105 – Idioteque: A- (Drew/Bianca) | B- (Anya/Owen) | C+ (Connor)
Luke flexes his acting chops in this engaging gang storyline.  This plot’s hook isn’t Ownya, but rather Anya watching her future fall apart.  We get a continuation of Connor’s obsession, but it’s nothing more than filler.

1106/1107 – Cry Me A River: A- (Adam/Dave) | D+ (Fiona) | C- (Clare/Katie)
Degrassi takes a unique angle by providing Dave’s storyline with a gray area.  Fiona relationship with someone unattached to Degrassi has gone from endearing to boring.  Clare switches to drama queen mode, but new character Katie shows promise in her debut.

1108/1109 – Dirt Off Your Shoulder: A- (Eli/Imogen) | B- (Zane/Riley) | B (Jenna/KC/Marisol)
A compelling storyline is driven by strong performances by Munro Chambers and Cristine Prosperi.  What starts off as a ho-hum Ziley plot ends with a much-needed curveball.  Kenna’s story intensifies by throwing Marisol into the mix.

1110/1111 – Paper Planes: B- (Anya) | C- (Fiona/Charlie) | B- (Connor)
A change in the storyline’s angle helps Anya’s plot end on a strong note.  Farlie’s pointless existence is saved by the introduction of Fiona’s lingering alcohol issues.  Connor is given a decent (yet temporary) sendoff before his plot wears out its welcome.

1112/1113 – Should’ve Said No: C- (Cake) | B (Drew) | B+ (Dave/Alli)
Clare remains frustrating as she continues her erratic behavior.  Drew’s mental breakdown continues to be interesting.  The end of Sadie makes way for a much better couple: Bhandurner.

1114/1115 – U Don’t Know: A+ (Holly J) | B+ (Adam/Katie) | B (Imogen/Eli/Clare)
Degrassi finally gives the show’s strongest actress something to do in Season 11, and she runs with it.  We get a deeper look at Adam’s personality when it comes to girls than we did with Fadam in Season 10.  Imogen excels at fanning the EClare flames.

1116/1117 – Lose Yourself: A+ (KC/Jenna) | C- (Sav/Ms. Oh) | C (Clare/Jake/Eli)
Kenna’s plot hits its stride with an emotional story and strong performances from Jessica Tyler and Sam Earle.  Sav and Ms. Oh aren’t interesting enough to carry a plot on their own.  Jake provides humor, but not enough to wash the overwhelming taste of love triangle/love squares out of our mouths.

1118/1119 – Mr. Brightside: C+ (Drew/Katie) | A (Alli/Dave) | A (Holly J)
One of the season’s best storylines finally hits a brick wall, as Drew’s behavior becomes too much and Krew is established out of nowhere.  On the other hand, Bhandurner’s less-dramatic plot manages to be far more entertaining.  Both sides in Holly J’s plot are understandable, and the predictable ending winds up being fulfilling anyway.

1120/1121 – Extraordinary Machine: A (Eli) | C+ (Anya) | A+ (KC/Jenna)
Munro Chambers shows why he’s the best actor on Degrassi.  Despite some insight into Owen, Anya’s plot is still as flat as its been all season.  Powerful and emotional, the end of Kenna’s adoption plot makes it one of the best storylines of the season.

1122/1123 – Drop It Like It’s Hot: B (Alli/Dave) | B (Wesley/Hannah) | B+ (Bianca)
This episode shows us the best and worst of Alli Bhandari.  Wesley charms us with a humorous “love triangle.” We get a heartbreaking look at Bianca’s role in the gang storyline.

1124/1125 – Don’t Panic: C- (Katie/Marisol) | D (Sav/Ms. Oh) | B (Eli)
Katie’s bulimia is the only thing that makes sense in the plot.  Sav and Ms. Oh’s “watchability” goes from bad to worse.  Watching Eli’s recovery and quest for forgiveness is enjoyable.

1126/1127 – Take A Bow: A (Fiona) | B (Katie/Drew)
Fiona shines when the show focuses on her internal issues directly as opposed to relationship issues.  This episode puts a quirky spin on the Katie/Drew/Marisol dynamic.  The graduates fade into the background after a season of (for the most part) nothing but filler material until their departure.

1128/1129 – Dead and Gone: B- (Drew/Bianca) | C- (Clare/Jake) | D+ (Sav/Ms. Oh)
The climax is a letdown, but ultimately Luke and Alicia’s acting fuel this thrilling storyline’s conclusion.  Clare’s continuous whining overshadows anything Jake could bring to the table.  Sav and Ms. Oh’s storyline is one of the most pointless plots in years.

1130/1131 – Nowhere To Run: D (Clare/Jake) | B (Katie/Drew/Bianca)
The dynamic of Cake has become repetitive and difficult to watch.  Bianca single-handedly entertains throughout a love triangle with little substance.

1132/1133 – Underneath It All: A- (Fiona/Imogen) | B (Clare/Jake) | B- (The Niners)
Fimogen’s plot provides ingtrigue with its multiple layers and perspectives.  Clare’s finally close to rock bottom, and we FINALLY get to see things from Jake’s perspective.  New characters Maya, Zig, Tristan and Tori make a solid impression in their debut.

1134/1135 – Can’t Tell Me Nothing: B+ (Katie) | B (Jenna) | A- (Tristan/Tori/Zig)
A deeper look into the world of Katie Matlin starts of shaky, but finishes strong.  Degrassi provides us with an appropriate followup to Jenna’s adoption storyline.  The niners continue to provide engaging C-Plot material.

1136/1137 – Not Ready To Make Nice: A (Clare) | A+ (Connor/Mo) | D+ (Fimogeli)
Degrassi FINALLY brings the heart of Clare’s issues to the forefront.  Connor and Mo team up for a hilarious climax on the football field.  There’s no romantic chemistry on any side of this Fimogeli love triangle.

1138/1139 – Need You Now: A (Eli/Imogen) | A (KC) | D+ (Zig/Tori)
We get an in-depth looked at how Eli being biplor affects everyone closest to him.  KC leads us down the heartbreaking path of a dad wanting to accept his responsibilities too little too late.  With no personality Zig is currently the weak link out of the niners, dragging down Tori in the process in this episode.

1140/1141 – Smash Into You: A+ (Dave/Alli) | C (Marisol/Mo) | A (Adam)
Dave provides one of the most amazing performances of the year.  A lack of chemistry makes “Morisol” nothing more than ho hum.  The niner’s lack of LGBT knowledge allows Adam to shine.

1142/1143 – Hollaback Girl: B+ (Bianca/Drew/Katie) | B- (Dave/Alli) | C- (Mo/Marisol)
Ultimately Degrassi focuses on the separate issues of Bianca and Katie as opposed to the dreaded love triangle.  Dave’s plot adds nothing new to the story, but is still entertaining.  Mo and Marisol still don’t have enough chemistry to sustain an interesting plot.

1144/1145 – In The Cold Cold Night: C- (Fiona/Imogen) | B- (Clare/Eli) | D+ (Maya)
Fimogen’s lack of chemistry is ultimately this plot’s downfall.  Clare and Eli’s first interaction since Nowhere To Run does a good job at setting up their future. Maya’s plot is harmless, but forgettable.
