Congratulations to Degrassi’s writing team as FOUR of them were nominated for a Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Award!
Barring some wild circumstance like Stefan trying to sabotage things, Degrassi is guaranteed a win because the writers have locked up all four nominations in the Tweens/Teens category. They’re as follows:
Cole Bastedo – Degrassi: Next Class, Season 2 “#CheckYourPrivilege”
Courtney Jane Walker – Degrassi: Next Class, Season 2 “#TurntUp”
Ian MacIntyre – Degrassi: Next Class, Season 1 “#TeamFollowBack”
Alejandro Alcoba – Degrassi: Next Class, Season 1 “#YesMeansYes”
The winner will announced at the awards ceremony on April 24.
