Watch out for a couple of Wasaga Beach kids on Degrassi in 2012.
An article from Simcoe.com feature Nicholas Danks and Trevor Childs, two actors who will be making regular appearances on the show.
There’s no information about what characters they play. The article does say that they make regular appearances, but they are NOT lead characters (we’ve already got our four lead grade 9 characters).
Sounds like background characters to me, or “Jess” status at the very most….however, the article says that Danks is appearing in 14 episodes. Sweet gig just to stand around the halls of Degrassi.

Hmm will there be a De grassi Street VS Wasaga Beach thing this Season? That would be interesting. Or if they introduce one of these guys as a Sean wannabee XD
I personally wouldn’t mind any scenario. As long as all these new characters have NOTHING to do with relationships and more with the other things that happen in High School.

I think many people are forgetting that anti-depressents change people. To me it seems that Eli is trying different things and I think that is great because he becoming more positive than Mr. Broody. I also think that Imogen is going to help him to open up his eyes to a different world than the dark side. If you guys have seen Munro’s Ology video interview
he even said that he is seeing Imogen in a different light and shes has been very nice to him. And there is a hint that Eclare is not going to happen this season. You have to read between the lines with this interview.
And I hope these new kids are going awesome!!

Indoor rock climbing is not a bad thing to try. It’s tough, but your arms/forearms will be most grateful after you scale a few of them

People sometimes change when they take anti depressants they either are happier or zombied out. Plus the therapist may have fiqured out the correct dosage for Eli. Also the Degrassi writers said that Eli is tring new things. So will see what happens.
