So in my last post I talked about how I was going to start reviewing older episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation…well I figured I’d start doing that tomorrow since we’ve got nothing from now until February 2012 (no one, not even TeenNick, wants to acknowledge the Degrassi special at the end of the month).

I’m baffled as to why people want so badly to know what I think about episodes that aired years ago, but I’ll just go with it anyway.  I’ve already started analyzing the older episodes, and though it’s never stated, the GRADES I’ve given the older episodes are not always set in stone.  And those grades are for the main plot of each episode, not the episode as a whole.  Now I can finally start adding grades for the subplots of these episodes as well.

The problem with reviewing old episodes is how to do it without it becoming boring.  It would become too mundane if I just went down the list in order starting from the beginning, or doing them by seasons.  The I’ve somewhat figured out a way to randomize…I’ll be jumping all over the place with them.  I figure I can do a couple a week during the show’s extended breaks (winter and late spring).

Here’s a list of the episodes I’m gonna review over the next couple of weeks:

U Got the Look
Uptown Girl 1 and 2
Love is a Battlefield
Can’t Hardly Wait
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Death of a Disco Dancer
Mercy Street

  4. Why’d u decide to do these episodes first. & When Canada airs the Halloween episode will u be reviewing that one or will you wait to review it in 2012 when it airs in US?

  6. I don’t know why, but I have to say Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is one of my favorite “light” episodes of TNG.
