The other day I found myself watching a livestream of a guy showing people how to cook chicken marsala. I was mesmerized by this and thought to myself, “Heyyy maybe I can do this!”
Then I realized I’d just get overwhelmed by all of the ingredients and accidentally burn my house down. Like Adamo, I leave the cooking to the pros, and have accepted my role as a professional eater. Still, that doesn’t make the culinary world any less fascinating.
