As we eagerly await the return of Degrassi: Next Class to our screens this summer, the set has come back to life as the cast and crew have officially begun production on Seasons 3 & 4!
Production for these two seasons is happening now through August. Here’s an exclusive look at Linda, Dante, Jamie and Spencer on set today (click image for full version):
Seasons 3 and 4 of Degrassi: Next Class consist of 10 episodes each, and will air in 2017.
Season 2 arrives on Netflix starting Friday, July 22; Family Channel’s premiere date is still TBA. You can also check out a preview of season 2 here.

Can we get any ideas as to what happened immediately after the bus crash of season 2? I know the news station in the show there weren’t any fatalities but there were a lot injured and one critical. I looked at all of the updates since they contained photos or snaps and I’m trying to see who attended filming that would have been on the bus. Character wise, I saw 4 or 5 of the main characters in photos. I wont name who but obviously that means that they have scenes in seasons 3 and 4. Several photos were included after 12 episodes were listed as filmed so that means some of those 4 or 5 made it to season 4 I think. Are there any hints that can be given on at least the severity of injuries of characters or chances of survival of injuries? Everyone saw the list at the end of season 2 so we know who was on the bus. Also, will it be revealed what exactly happened to cause the bus to flip?
Sorry lol I’m 28 and still watching this show. I’ve been watching since the beginning and I cant ever stop watching. It might be fun to try to be an extra some day lol I’m hoping maybe to get an idea of what happened to which students or how the bus crashed because that was probably one of the most emotional endings to a season of any show I’ve ever seen. I dont have social media but a lot of people on youtube said its going to be hard to wait until 2017 to find out because of how emotional an ending that was an how many open holes it leaves to fill. Even JT didnt die at the end of a season but it rathet ended with his memorial and everyone coming together just like for Adam. Definitely such a confusing and emotional ending.
