Yet another Degrassi star has made the jump from high school to Primetime TV.
After months of teasing us about a secret project she’s been working on, Aislinn Paul finally revealed she will be a part of the latest “Heroes” incarnation, “Heroes Reborn.”

Heroes Reborn is a 13-episode mini series that will air Thursday nights on NBC beginning September 24th. Deadline’s release on the news:
Aislinn Paul has landed a recurring role on NBC’s event series Heroes Reborn. The project from Heroes creator/executive producer Tim Kring revolves around a new group of everyday people with extraordinary abilities. Paul, repped by Innovative Artists and and Noble Caplan Abrams, recurred on Syfy’s Haven and CW’s Reign. Her other TV credits include HBO’s Tell Me You Love Me and Lifetime’s Wildcard.

Many years ago I said in an interview that I expected Aislinn to be a breakout star. I’m proud of her hard work and perseverance, and I hope she continues to be successful!

So happy to see so many cast members are getting work outside of Degrassi. I also think this could be the start to many big things to come for Aislinn.

Is that where the press release ended? Did they intentionally leave out the DeGrassi part of her resume? Seems a bit odd if that’s the case. I mean, that is the body of her past work.

It was weird seeing her in a tiny tiny bit role in reign. And I dunno exactly what she looks like right now, but she has been majorly fat for a few seasons on degrassi, it might seem mean but she’s not gonna be a big star unless she gets in good shape. That’s just a fact for Hollywood. In that heroes pic she looks slimmer but who knows.

I don’t think she was ever overweight. If you check out her Instagram feed she actually looks great, but I think Degrassi stylists/costume people dressed her in ugly outfits that made her look frumpy and bigger than she actually is.

well her outfits may have not been the best but shes been as big as a house after her first few seasons. ive never seen her instagram but i cant imagine its that big of a difference, maybe now though shes slimmed down a little i dunno, but she has to if she wants a hollywood career, probably lose 75+ lbs at least. at least.
