It’s been a super busy week, otherwise I would’ve posted this earlier!
Epitome’s new series Open Heart will debut on Tuesday, January 20th at 9pm EST on TeenNick in the U.S. and YTV in Canada.
As much as I would love for TeenNick to air the show before or after Degrassi and FINALLY have some kind of primetime block consisting of multiple shows, that isn’t going to happen (and it’s smart for them not to do that).
That means the theory of Degrassi burning through all of season 14 at once is officially out the window; the show’s midseason finale (Firestarter) will air on January 13th.
Stephen Stohn said Degrassi will take an 11-week hiatus while Open Heart airs, meaning Degrassi should return on April 7th. If they run through the rest of the known Degrassi episodes (1413-1424) that would wrap things up in June, not including 1425-1428.

its a hospital drama. just imagine a teen version of Gray’s Anatomy. but look on the right side: based on the sequence of events it looks like Zoe will be gone before FS2 or in the beginning of it. so there will be a lot less drama. .

i love watching degrassi. one question how much time is left in the school year after the events
of firestarter because i cannot see having enough days left in school for material for 12 more episodes until the seniors leave the school

11 weeks thats like a 2-3 month break..we can deal. we’ve waited longer. I feel like season 14 is starting to pick up and of course right when it gets good they want to tease us. Wish i could fast forward and know how this ends for clare & eli or alli & dallas..even jenna & connor i need proper endings for them or im going to be PISSED. And theyll lose a series long fan. TUH!
