With the return of Degrassi also comes the return of the Canadian after show, After Degrassi. New episodes air Tuesdays at 9:30pm, right after every new episode of Degrassi. This week’s guests were Aislinn Paul and Melinda Shankar. You can watch clips from their appearance below.

I was kind of thinking the same thing during the interview part, though I did find them playing Pictionary quite amusing. I don’t know, whenever I imagined an after show long before After Degrassi came along I envisioned something where there’d be more formal discussions among the hosts/cast members/audience about the actual issues touched on in the episode, as opposed to it being basically nothing but fluff.

It’s been a long time since I’ve followed the goings on at MuchMusic with regards to the hosts, but I’ve caught snips of these new hosts and I can’t stand them. They’re just so loud and in your face and frenetic. Generally once hosts at MuchMusic were “retired”, they’d go on to become news anchors, or work for entertainment shows geared towards older audiences. I can’t picture either of these two doing that, especially the one who seems to think she’s a Suicide Girl.
