The recent network promos have finally started coming around a bit…they’re not OMG amazing, but they’re not as frustrating as they have been. I’m so glad TeenNick didn’t reveal what sets off Eli in Need You Now! If you’re wanting to go into the episode in the dark, don’t read the paragraph below.
I’m not feeling Imogeli as a couple, but I am very interested in their storyline in Need You Now. Imogen is a nice girl and she’s not intentionally trying to cause trouble, but once again she’s going to show that she has no concept of social boundaries, especially when it comes to other people’s personal issues (the mural of Eli about mental illness, and blurting out the fact Fiona was an alcoholic to a group of strangers).
KC’s storyline interests me as well. We can assume Jenna is all about completely moving on from the situation. So I’m excited to see that KC can’t let go, especially with teen dads on Degrassi having a track record of being dirtbags.
I’m current indifferent to Tori trying to join the Power Squad. Her storyline doesn’t appeal to me on the surface, but then again niners have been on a pretty good roll so far in 11.5.

So how exactly did Eli and Imogen hit it off? Or were they just slapped together for even more relationship drama?

Slapped together. Eli randomly has feelings for Imogen, even though he’s shown no romantic interest in her before.

i think Imogen is super sweet and obviously extremely gorgeous. maybe they were feelings there but covered up by his obsession with Clare. if you haven’t noticed a lot of the stuff that appears on camera assumes the viewer makes some connection to off camera interactions. remember, only the real plots will be shown on TV, the rest we must assume. also remember how much people change their minds when they are in h.s. not mention they became friends and were spending a lot of time together, feelings would naturally erupt when Imogen is so nice and pretty.

I think the issue I have with Eli and Imogen as a couple is that they don’t do anything for one another… they more like enable each other to be weaker people. I think the reason that we have the couples we ship like eclare, semma, sellie, crellie is that they made one another better, and when they didn’t they no longer worked as a couple. Imogen and Eli only hurt each others chances at being better people.

We don’t know how long Eli and Imogen have been hanging out so don’t be too quick to judge. Another note If Eclare was a strong couple why did Clare run from Eli everytime something from his past with Julia came up. She took off from the resturant when Eli admitted he had sex with Julia. She made him look like a fool in front of her parents and never told her parents she had a boyfriend. She had the gulls to confront Fitz when she knew it would hurt Eli. Lastly she wanted a break because its all about Julia death. Everytime Eli wanted to talk about important issues the leaves abruptly and pretty darn rude. Clare problem is she does not know how to to talk to people especially the ones she cares about. The only person she did confide everything with was Jake. I do love Clare and Eli but not in the romantic way. Plus Eli scared the crap out of her.

I agree, Abby. Maybe in the beginning, Claire and Eli helped eachother grow, but towards the end, things got really ugly and they needed to end. Imogen and Eli make a lot of sense to me in that they are quite similar. Usually in High School (and even beyond), people who are into the same sort of things/way of dress/music naturally gravitate towards one another. Eli and Imogen have that “goth/emo” kid thing going for them, so they naturally fit together. Sure, they may not be headed in a positive direction, but most high school relationships are horrible, and most relationships in general can be volatile. I hope they do last more than two episodes though. I like both characters a great deal, and it would be nice to see them in a few plot arcs just hanging out in the background as a super cute couple :)

I don’t think K.C. is being realistic, like he wants Ty but he doesn’t want to do anything to keep him. He was out cheating on Jenna instead of being with Ty – really but you want Ty so bad and you wanted to keep him. K.C. didn’t really have to give up too much, he could still date girls, play sports and be a normal teenager 85% of the time. Jenna on the other hand had trouble getting support and not being judged, she had to watch Ty and give up her music and being a teenager. K.C. gave up as much as Jenna did and still wanted Ty, I would think differently of the situation but right now, no way he was a selfish dad IMO.
Marisol is just a bitch, she is so self-conscious that she is afraid someone is going to steal her thunder.
I can’t wait to see Allie’s plot with Dave. I love Allie and I feel she hasn’t been around too much this season – only her awkward interactions with Clare about the Jake thing. Nontheless, Allie and Clare were good as friends, there were high’s and low’s but every friendship has that. And if Allie and Clare split over a stupid kiss with Jake they were not really friends in the first place. Clare makes me sick too, she gets mad at the girl when the guy is the only thing saying constant – duhhh. Not to mention when she told Allie that Drew should have punishment for hooking up with Bianca and Bianca shouldn’t be the only one getting punished for hooking up with Drew. Clare is a hypocrite. And the whole Brother/Sister thing is creepy!!!!!!

Everyone is talking about Imogeli, I love them both individually but together. YIKERS. They have no connection, They were slapped together. And way to fast for my liking. I’m sure you’ve noticed by now i’m a pretty big Eclare fan.
OMG Adam is back!! YOOOHAA I missed him but in the clip shown he doesn’t fit the setting he looks like a carboard cut out.

In every season 11.5 episode I have found the b-plot to be more interesting than the A and C plots. Anybody else agree?

clare has always tried to be there for eli after the car crash i guess he just became unbearible for her to handle that’s why the reletionship ended
