And below, is a promo from TeenNick for the final 3 weeks of Now Or Never. The major highlights are Eclare (of course), Drew/Bianca/Vince, Marisol and Katie’s extreme feud over Drew, graduation and prom. If you’re eager to know what’s happening when, of course you can check out the episode descriptions if you haven’t already seen them. Well Imogen and Eli kiss again and it looks like its after the play. Who gets shot? It was nice to see Eli’s parents in the audience. Bianca tring to save Drews ass by dating Vince. Katie teaching Drew martial arts. I have a feeling Eli’s play is not happening because of emotional whiplash. The person on the floor looked like he had dark wavy hair. But who is the shooter?

So… Someone at least gets hurt, and now we know it’s a guy. Adam is safe, since Stephen announced before Season 10 started that he was a character we’d be seeing throughout all of high school. Connor is AWOL, so it won’t be him. KC isn’t old enough to go to prom, and he broke up with Marisol. Dave and Wesley are too young for prom. The Seniors won’t be in this episode, I don’t think (except for Fiona) Eli is only a waiter at the dance and I doubt they’d kill Jake, so that narrows it down to either Owen or Drew.

It’s Drew who gets shot. Eli and Adam are seen in the background while Drew falls. Owen is the right. And in an earlier shot it shows Bianca with Drew at the dance wearing a short red dress. Drew is wearing a white shirt and black coat. The person falling to the ground is wearing a black coat and white shirt and is directly next to a girl in a short red dress. Drew, unfortunately, gets shot.

Yeah, definitely Drew. You can see KC running towards him as he falls to the right, and when the shot happens, you see Katie kind of going back – and I’m imagining she was with Drew.

I think the kiss is after the play because its in Eli’s room. I thought it was Wesley that fell because I thought he has med dark wavy hair but Wesley is a sophmore. I know its not Owen he is wearing a blue shirt.

sorry. not a drew and katie fan. Haven’t even seen the episode yet, but definitely not a fan of this couple. They just look weird together. I thought Katie knew nothing about guys and dating. Drew just broke up with Bianca so what’s he doing jumping into something else so quickly. Isn’t he sufferering from ptsd? Shouldnt he get help with that first?

Please more adam scenes and not random 10 second shots with him reading a comic book and talkng to clare. He is well rounded character and I think its a waste that he isn’t given more storylines besides the major trans thing.

Looking forward to the Katie/Marisol feud since they’re “long time BFFs.” Too bad it’s over a guy; more importantly, Drew.
Honestly, what is up with Degrassi school dances this year. It is not a safe place to be at (shouldn’t Degrassians know this?) If someone fucking dies or gets fatally wounded, what will Simpson do now? Last time, Eli almost (keyword: ALMOST) got stabbed. Simpson’s solution: strict policy and uniforms. C’mon Degrassi writers, overhyping scenarios makes the actual occurrence less exciting and/or scary i.e. Drop the World. I must say, the scene between Eli and Fitz in All Falls Down gave me goosebumps and made my heart race.
Nonetheless, I’m excited to see what happens in the last 3 weeks of Now or Never (can’t believe it’s almost over!)

The thing that most irritates me about Katie/Marisol is the whole thing when Clare wanted to get in on the paper…you know: When Marisol said that Katie didn’t like to deal with drama and Clare “is drama.”
Funny, because I’ve not seen Marisol cause anything BUT drama since her introduction. I really don’t like her character, actually.
I think Katie has promise. Wish they didn’t throw her into a Drew storyline and hadn’t made the Adam storyline, “I’m going to flirt with you. Oh, you have boobs. Wait, I don’t like you that way. AND SCENE.”
Kind of a waste, in my opinion.
And I really wish that the writers would stop hooking Drew up with the people that Adam previously had crushes on! That’s weak.

Agreed! I was wondering if anyone else was going to notice this trend-every time Adam crushes on, and is subsequently shot down by, a girl that girl then goes on to date Drew. Odd much? I really want to know what the heck is going on with that.

For someone who tries hard to “avoid drama” as Marisol said, Katie sure seems involved in it (Drew).
Drew needs to stay out of relationships, they just end up a disaster: cheating on Alli, Bianca’s baggage. The guy is losing it right now and really shouldn’t be with anyone right now.
And Eli really needs to move on, this “Eclare” thing post breakup has dragged on long enough.
Can anyone on this show stay single for more than five minutes?

I think Katie’s the bullimic one, too. In a future episode description it said that Katie and Marisol would leak eachother’s secrets- cheating and bullimia. I think for the cheating part they’re referring to Marisol secretly dating KC, even though she wasn’t the one cheating. That leaves bullimia for Katie. Plus, based on their personalities, it’s most likely Katie.

I have a problem with Marisol and Katie. Okay, so Marisol, at the begining of the season, decides to help KC cheat on Jenna. I’m assuming they broke up last episode because that’s what KC said although we didn’t see it. Then she jumps to Drew. It doesn’t bother me all that much because that’s what her character description is about.Katie, on the other hand, is supposed to be shy around guys. I could be wrong, but going into war with your best friend over a guy isn’t being shy. It’s being aggressive. Not to mention the flirting with Jake and Adam. I like her character because it’s like an early Holly J wihtout so much attitude, but she is really begining to get plots solely based on boys. I was hoping to see her in different types of plots kind of like her plot with Clare.
The Eli and Imogen thing is probably just Eli’s way of coping with Clare not ever wanting to get back together. He probably triees to win her over again and when it doesn’t work, settle for second best. I don’t actually mind EClare all that much because they haven’t been thrown in your face this season like Clare/Jake has. Imogen is an interesting twist in the EClare/Cake love triangle. I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out with Eli off his meds.
Drew’s continuing storyline this season has been well written and I’m impressed. I like how all of his storylines tie together realisticly and are well acted. Drew has really become the leading man this season. Watching his plot go from an A plot to a D plot and then a B plot has made it seem more real in the sense that it’s not always crazy drama. We all knew Bianca and Drew would find a way together at some point and I’m definitely looking forward as to how the writers pull it off. I mean, Bianca as been AWOL since the first week when Drew broke up with her. As to who will be shot suposedly, I can’t tell. The promo isn’t the best quality. However, it has to be someone near both Bianca, Katie, and Adam (as they are all shown in the promo I think at that point). That would normally mean Drew, but I don’t think that the writers would give him more injury unless it was just to prove that his fighting is worthless. Personally, I think that Krew will be Drew’s way of coping wihtout Bianca but in the end, Drianca will win out.
Graduation will be kind of sad. That plot lines for graduation are vage at best other than Holly J. Okay, so we know she gets the surgery. Part of me wants to know how she got 20,00 dollars if her family is tight on money. The other part wishes this would be a C plot. Onto Fiona. Her demons? First off, they bring Charlie back which is compltetly annoying. She’s an isolated character that has nothing to do with Degrassi at all. I was glad when Fiona ended things with her but now I see that Fiona doens’t get any storylines without it beign about relationships and her being a lesbian. Marco 2.0 and Riley 1.0 anyone? Then there’s the Katie storyline which basically tells us how Don’t Panic turns out. Drew’s expectations for sex shouldn’t really be much. He and Alli didn’t do anything. Then he got blown by Bianca. Then they didn’t have sex. I think Drew’s a virgin. This plot may end Krew. Here’s to hoping.
Things I wish would happen:
misfits reunion becasue they were an awesome trio of friends.
some sort of Adam/Fiona interaction now that she is hangin with his best friend
closure for the Karisol plot (aka, KC breaking up with Marisol talk)
any communication between the Torres brothers other than the one scene in the car
seeing Adam’s thoughts on Krew and Drianca and about Vince
an end to Cake because Clare needs to go without a love interest for a while and they look like siblings
any Fiona plot without Charlie involved at all
Owen pull Anya out of doing coke
(i hate to say it but…) more of the Kenna plot that left on a cliffhanger

I really wish they would stop throwing relationships left and right. I really do.
I mean, the only part that’s interesting about Katie and Marisol fighting over Drew is that the two of them are fighting…I just wish it could be about someone else, if that makes sense (because they just left things up in the air with Drew and Bianca, and I don’t think that’s fair because they were a well liked pair).
I’m not sure about Drew and Alli – I don’t know how they’ll incorporate the poker story, but I guess it could be interesting.

Drew isn’t a jerk. Exactly like he said, his life went downhill as soon as Bianca came into the picture. Sure it’s not exactly her fault, but things that have happened to Drew wouldn’t happen if Bianca didn’t come into the picture.
Bianca hooks up with Drew = Alli breaks up with Drew
School knows Drew cheated with Bianca = No girl wants Drew
Bianca being the only girl to go out with Drew but no one likes her = Drew can’t hang out with his friends and their girlfriends anymore
I can go on and on and on.. Bianca was toxic. She has a bad past and her interaction with Drew will just cause him, and possibly other characters who then interact with Drew (such as Katie who is a suspicion for getting shot) to get seriously hurt..

It would not surprise me if at some point Eli ends up killing himself. There hasn’t been a suicide in a long time and Eli seems like the most likely. It would cause a huge uproar among fangirls, similarly to when JT was killed off. And let’s face it: Eli is kind of messed up and completely reckless.
Also, isn’t there a rumor going around that this is Munro’s final season?

Now that it’s been mentioned, they’ve completely changed the original purpose of pretty much every character currently on Degrassi. Have they even addressed the fact that Connor was only supposed to live with Simpson for one semester? WHO are his parents??? Clare started off as a grounded Christian who put schoolwork before boys. Now her hormones have taken control, and every plot about her involves a boy. Jenna’s mom supposedly just abandoned her from what we heard in Season 9/10. Now all of a sudden she’s dead??? Same for Jake. I thought his mom died, but they’ve indicated that she’s still alive.

I’m officially in Eclare burnout. I’d even feel the same way if I shipped them, but c’mon, can’t they take a week off to let some other plots play out? I’d be OK if we saw Clare and Jake involved in their own separate plot, as with Emogen, but when 2, 3 or all of them get together, you know it’s going to be a boring retread of what has already been said dozens of times by now.
Why aren’t they promoting Sav/Miss Oh? I guess we’ve seen the last of Zane and Riley. No more Wes or Connor either. And the burning question a decade in the making…will Chantay graduate this year?!
I don’t know if the writers lurk here, but I hope they do and tone down the FORCED relationship plots during the fall season. I realize relationships will always be a part of the Degrassiverse, but they need to be balanced with some other storylines as well.
Of the stories that were previewed, I’m looking forward to Anya’s continued downfall the most, as well as the continued parental drama in the Kenna household. I’m really kind of through with any “pairings” at this point.

Like the only interesting thing in the Eclare fallout was Eli’s mental instability besides that their plots are boring. I’m tired of all the relationship focus, it’s way too much this season. The only thing that makes it bearable is that it’s usually a B or C plot so the more interesting stuff are still relevant. However not every B or C plot needs to be about relationships, they could at least try some funny plots again or more school related plots >__>
Oh and I won’t even attempt shipping any pairing because it seems any pairing that lasts more than 1 season should get broken up no matter what.

The play is a good “school” plot, but the main focus is clearly on Eclare, which really takes away any excitement from looking forward to performance night. The only thing I look forward to during those scenes are Eli/Fiona scenes, whom have become quite a delicious couple. I think what works for them is that they’ll never be a couple, so their scenes don’t come off forced and cringeworthy.

Jake’s character description states that their lake cabin was renovated in Mrs. Martin’s honor after she died. Why the hell would Glen do that if they were divorced??? In Season 10, Marisol was introduced as nothing but a ditzy cheerleading. Now, she simply comes off as a person who CAN think for herself, but who saves that knowledge for when it counts so that she can use it to her advantage. Imogen’s character description is nothing to go by. I haven’t seen her pose as a homeless person, and she doesn’t have bandages on her unwounded wrists (though that may be something she uses to gain Eli’s sympathy in Extraordinary Machine) she definitely does not come off as a ‘normal girl who goes to great lengths to stand out from the crowd’; more like ‘a skilled schemer who will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get what she wants.’

Yeah I think sometimes those things are wrong or they make changes. I still remember Drew was described as “homopobic”. Even though he said he didn’t care that Riley was gay, he just wanted the QB1 spot.

The fact that she’s “training for the National Under 17 Women’s Soccer League” hasn’t even been brought up. “Her years of mastering the bicycle kick kept her from learning how to cake on the makeup” Yeah, as if… You’d make a great mime, honey. “When it comes to boys or matters of the heart, she clams up. The soccer field prepared her for a lot of things-but not love.” Mmhm… SHE asked Jake out. SHE goes after Drew. She engages in a WAR with her best freaking friend over a BOY! Excuse me if that doesn’t come off very clueless at all…

And finally… Ah, the Seniors. No comment on Riley, at all. After 3.5 seasons of mental ping pong, I just don’t care if we ever see him again. Zane didn’t have much of a purpose without him, so same goes here… Stephen said no one will be followed into COLLEGE, but not everyone will just disappear. Chantay was rumored a while back to return as Power Squad Coach… Holly J. gets the surgery; at this point, I don’t think she’ll die… Have fun at YaleWorld :) Fiona is obviously returning for at least another half Season. Anya… Hmm. Wow, just… This is not going well for her :/ unless they pull an Alex and bring her back next semester to raise credits and increase her chances at college acceptance, her future is really a shame. As for Sav… He’s Alli’s brother, and his new best friend has feelings for her that have not yet been addressed. Plus, if he DOES date Ms. Oh I’m pretty sure he’ll be back. May I just say that it will not surprise me AT ALL if Declan appears in Take A Bow?

All kind of opinion. I think it also said Ellie attempted suicide in DGH, but she told Craig she wasn’t.
Eli was risking death, but I don’t think it was his goal. Not like Darcy cutting her wrist after her rape, or JT overdosing while Liberty was pregnant.

I do believe Ellie was attempting suicide in Degrassi Goes Hollywood, despite telling Craig she wasn’t trying to kill herself. If you remember, Darcy told Ms. Sauve the same thing, even though it was pretty clear she was trying to kill herself when she slit her wrist.
Anyways, back to Eli. I kind of think it was a suicide attempt, although I am not quite sure. His main goal was destroying Morty, but I believe a part of him may have wanted to die when he crashed the hearse.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like we haven’t gotten to know these new characters as well as the ones last year during The Boiling Point. With the exception of Bianca, we got to know all of them quite well (Eli, Drew, Adam). But also they all had major stories on their own. Whereas we haven’t seen Jake without Clare, Katie in a major plot (yet Mr. Brightside), or Imogen outside of her obsession with Eli.
Not complaining, just an observation. I’m hoping we can get to know them better before they graduate as they’ll be seniors soon.

Honestly, I’m not worried about getting to know Jake, Imogen, or Katie better right now. I’m more concerned about how they will send off the seniors. Besides, all new characters have to pay their dues before they get any real plots.

I really hope that Dead and Gone has at least one big surprise, but somehow I doubt it. However: I would like to say bravo to the cinematography. That last shot of the smoking gun and people scrambling in the background was very beautiful (in a creepy gun just killed someone kind of way).

The TeenNick and MuchMusic promos are totally contradicting each other, haha. On the one hand, it looks like there’s some hope for Eclare in the TeenNick promo for next week. But the MuchMusic promo makes it seem like they are done for good (highly doubtful). Also in the MuchMusic promo, it seems as though Imogen and Eli have some sort of bad confrontation and Imogen walks away hurt. However, in the TeenNick promo for the final weeks of Now or Never, they’re seen inches from kissing. My bold prediction is that they sleep with each other, and then Eli tells Imogen later on that it didn’t mean anything because it was a just means to get over Clare (who he will undoubtedly fail at winning back).

At that point Jess and Sadie would be 10th graders also Jess got bumped up to 10th grader in the middle of the season for no reason so she’ll actually be a 11th grader when the next school term starts.

First off, the girl of the left’s face is priceless.
Second, it is definitely Drew who falls down,
Third, everyone’s focus seems to be all over. Owena and Bianca appear to be looking at Drew. But Eli and Dave appear to be looking at Adam. Katie is turned away and everyone else is panicking.
Fourth, out of Drew and Adam (who I think are the two candidates for getting shot) Adam looks in pain and Drew looks like he just fell.
Fifth, Katie is shown turning left eariler put at :21 is turned away. Adam is to her left while Drew is right in front of her.
I think that Vince shows up and calls Drew out and so everyone turns to him (aka Owen’s shocked face) and Vince shoots but misses Drew and either hits Adam or doesn’t hit anyone.

I don’t think Drew gets shot. I think he dropped or fell on the floor. I think the person gets shot is a bystandard by one of Vince’s boys. Gang leaders usually have someone else do it. I think Katie may have been pushed out of the way.
Remember after what Clare said to him in the promo that we are not getting back together. This is probably why Eli says There is not going to be a happy ending. So I have a feeling after the play Eli and Imogen are going to sleep together or just make out. Since Imogen really wants Eli my cards say she will have sex with him.

Jenna and KC I really hope they keep the baby and stay together. Parenting is hard work and so are relationships. Jenna is not selfish if she wants to give up the baby.

This is my prediction, I am copying it straight from the Degrassi Wiki where I posted it:
this is some of the stuff that I noticed
-Eli pulls Adam back, looking like he’s trying to restrain him
-Anson was never in the Fireworks promo, which is a bit strange
-The guy with the gun in the Fireworks promo looks like they are keeping Bianca close, not like he likes/wants her (like Anson did) but for some other reason..
-In the Fireworks promo, something gave Drew the sudden confidence to pick a fight with this guy.. I know he fought with Anson in Spring Fever, but Anson never used (or showed) a gun, leading me to believe that the guy with Bianca in the promo was not supposed to represent Anson
So what does this all mean? Drew’s sudden bout of confidence is his success in cage fighting. Vince shows up in his space again and Bianca is with him (Dead & Gone part 1 synopsis) and Vince gets beat up by Drew, finally. So Vince hires some guy (a white guy, not being racist, but I have to point out the guy in the Fireworks promo is white) to go to the dance as Bianca’s date and if Bianca pulls anything funny, she’s getting shot, so she’s like held hostage which is why the guy in the Fireworks promo seems clingy, to make sure she didn’t do anything “funny”, but not sexual-clingy like Anson was. Drew goes to the dance with Katie and the guy accidentally shoots Katie. He decides the next thing to do is pretty much blow the whole (not literally “blow up”) school up with gunshots (and/or) ditch the gun with Bianca forced to be with him and make a run for it. (I’m confident that the “Bianca” you clearly see in the promo is some other chick that “happens” to be wearing a red dress). Adam still has some feelings for Katie so he gets scared and goes down on the ground to check on her, but since the guy made more gun shots, Eli thought it was dangerous or something and had to pull him back I guess.
Also, Anya collapses and Holly J is to the rescue (as seen in the Fireworks promo as in my opinion, Holly J hasn’t really “rescued” Anya yet). It’s probably nothing extremely serious since I’m sure the Drianca/Krew gets the A-Plot and if it’s as intense as I predict it to be, then they really can’t have Anya dying in addition to all the original drama.

I kind of have to agree about the drew/bianca/anson stuff, because the fireworks promo was made for season 11. Spring fever was originally meant for season 10, so it shouldnt be included in the fireworks promo, right?? Also, the gun seemed to be the biggest point in the fireworks promo, so there is no way they would make that in the very first episode of season 11.
My guess for the anya plot is that holly j is the one to save her from the coke habit??

Now that I see everyone’s predictions and how different they are.. I honestly just have no idea what’s gonna happen.. All I know is that Week 7 will be intense episodes..
Oh yeah, and if there’s one thing I can pray for Degrassi, PLEASE start the dance in Part 1. The All Falls Down dance was ok because Part 2 started it immediately but it still felt a bit short, the Drop the World dance was TERRIBLE, it started like 10 minutes in and everything, literally everything was rushed.. Don’t rush this.. please.

Degrassi returns in “early 2012” after Now or Never with the addition of Katie’s little sister, Maya. I bet “early 2012” refers to February, when In Too Deep started. With the extra episodes in Now or Never, there’s not enough episodes to do 2 more sections so I guess they are just merging whats left of the fall episodes with the spring episodes and airing them all in the spring.

My best guess is that Drew is the one who gets shot. We see Adam “fall” or “go after him” and it looks kind of like Eli is holding him up in a way.

Let’s just see how this goes. I really hope they confirm that Angie’s coming back!! She and Maya could be niner friends like Clare/Alli, Emma/Manny.

I don’t think anyone will get shot in Dead and Gone and if someone does, I don’t think it will be Drew because that is too predictable! Maybe Adam or Katie, since they are both characters connected to Drew and you would think Vince or whatever gang member causes the shooting would want to hurt either Drew or someone close to him.

I think one of thwo things happen:
1. no one gets shot but nut Vince shots in air or something to scare Drew
2. Adam gets shot. I don’t think they would shot Katie because she’s new. Adam would make more sense.
I’m leaning more towards the 1st because it makes more sense. (see my eariler post for more reasons why Drew doesn’t get shot)
Oh, and btw, is Katie wearing the same dress she did for the runway show??????

If Vince just shoots the air, someone’s gettin beaten alright (as Bianca would put it (Don’t Let Me Get Me reference)).. Seriously, I will go to Toronto.. They made Now or Never so much better than The Boiling Point but if they are just gonna end it the same way (AFD = “stabbing”; DAG = “shooting”).. I won’t even know what to say. I would be very disappointed…

Samesies. Somebody better at least get hurt or I will be mega pissed. And they said last season we’d be getting a “death” but it turned out to be the death of a car?? Or are they talking about the death of Anson in Spring Fever, a character that we’d never seen before and had no connection with? I’m still kind of butt hurt over that.

we don’t know yet for sure if someone is getting shot, but if I think that someone does, I believe the impact would be greater if the person who got shot was someone NOT directly related to the drew situation.
it leads into a great plot into the next season, someone getting shot because of drew’s problems, drew’s guilt, revenge, all that jazz.

As Aislinn said about a month back on her twitter. There is going blood, sweat and lots of tears. So its sounds like someone is going to die. Also said a while back its going to be someone we lease expect. Not the shooter its who gets shot. Thats why it could be anybody. I think Drew pushed Katie out of the way and he just fell to the floor. If you look at the last scene its looks like everybody is just running for cover.

So far in all the Dance/Finals episode Eli is in them and is getting hurt. In the first one (All Fall Down) he almost gets stabbed. In Drop the World he crashes Morty. So if we follow the rule of 3, Eli MIGHT be in Dead and Gone. And hes gone from almost get hurt, to getting hurt. So MAYBE he is the one that gets shot.

Other observations from the promo:
It looks like Katie may have won the school election. She seems the presidential type. I bet Dave will be for his final year, they’ve been working towards that since his first episode.
Also Drew and Bianca are wearing shirts for Grade 9 orientation.

They are really going to have to work hard to create any new characters that I will actually like. They got lucky last season and this season, with the exception of Jake who I hate. But when Claire and Alli and Fiona graduate, imma be pissed. Im already pissed that holly j Sav an Anya are leaving, but when they leave, it’s over!!!!
