MuchMusic released a new promo during last night’s MMVA’s. I thought it was better than the normal promos they run (THANK YOU for using someone other than the creepy old guy to voice the promo). But does that even matter? The Degrassi universe lost their minds last night because Munro Chambers made an appearance:
(insert short jokes here) Munro also ended up being a trending topic on twitter worldwide.

Stephen Stohn just posted a quick article about the Degrassi mobile game, which will be available next month. Back when they first announced the game they said it was going to be available for just Apple and Android platforms at first, but after the delay and progress they’ve made I’m not sure if that still stands…disappointing news if so seeing as how I have a Blackberry.

i also think is a better promo the the others ive seen from much music. i think something happens with ‘s anya and dr. chris and the hand at the end kind of looks like eli’s. idk it could be drew’s if you think about the plots but it kind of looks like eli’s hand.

I think Anya and Holly J are surprised because maybe Anya tells them that she did cocaine/drugs and it has to relate to Dr. Chris somehow. Also, I assume Drew gets beat up because Anson betrays him or because he doesn’t shoot whoever Anson wants him to (because towards the end, you see him walking, trying to look casual then start running suddenly). And Clare saying “Woah, what are you doing?” kind of scared me. I think it might have to do with Jake and maybe him pressuring her to have sex.
And jeez, can anyone get a good-quality upload of that promo? The site Stephen linked to doesn’t like loading their videos very fast on my computer, so I have to rely on YouTube and it looks like everyone used a cheap 5 dollar camera to manually record the promo with their hand…

I’m so happy Bianca, and Anya are getting more storylines. I do not think drew will die this season. For some reason I can see them killing off Anya. Plus I can see the writers leading to Eli’s sucide later in the series :O anyone agree with me

This MuchMusic promo seriously floored me. For once, it was more than just random clips thrown together. It was dramatic and intense, even more so than the TeenNick promo; I definitely liked it better than the latter. The background music was an excellent choice; it totally set off a dark vibe for season 11. I can’t wait for season 11 to finally validate Drianca as a legit couple. I also can’t wait to see Bianca become a real character and Alicia’s acting chops. All of these brief clips of the Imogen/Eli/Clare/Jake love rectangle are driving me insane; I have no idea how this is all going to play out. Jake coming on to an unwilling Clare? Eli telling Clare he “doesn’t have feelings at all”? Damn, this is going to be fun to watch. Personally, I think Eli isn’t talking about not having feelings for Clare (the promos have shown that they’re both not over each other), but rather he’s talking that in general, he feels empty and numb post-Eclare breakup. And I wonder who says “I warned you about that girl”?
Not gonna like, the MMVA’s were lame apart from Gaga’s performances and seeing Munro present. The guy is such a laugh, and I can’t believe he said “Leggo” on screen, ahaha.

I loved this promo too. I always on my feet after the first 5 seconds. The introduction was amazing and reminds me of something I just can’t put my tongue on.

I love when that happens. A line of dialogue that means a lot to the story, then the narrators voice. I don’t know why, I just love it when that happens.

Looks like Eli is going to have a depression storyline. Which might explain Clare getting frustrated if Eli returns and maybe acts like nothing happened.

I can now say I have high hopes for season 11. You know somethings gonna be good when Much Music can put together a good promo.
-“Drew: You want me to shoot someone?” well…. that certaintly gets your attention. I wonder who would tell him to shoot someone. It also appears that from the end of the promo, he just might do it, but Im really hoping not.
-Apparently someone is being a bastard (my moneys on Sav, or Dr. Chris.)
-Biancas mysterious past seems to be catching up with her, nonetheless, from jail. This cant end well…
-It appears Anya did something of mystery with Dr. Chris. Would a doctor really give a barely 18 year old cocaine? Hmmm.. maybe theyre just talking about sex
-Clare getting unwanted pressures from Jake? She could just be overreacting with his shirt off and everything… but then again….

I think clare gets really drunk cos shes upset at some club event like the dot or something and sees eli there and starts screaming at him and then i thought it was peter holding her back the owner but i guess it was jake either way makes sense i definately dont think she was sober sounded odd

It looks like drew was in the backseat of a police car at the end, definitely looks like before the truck scene. When Anya made that annoyed face while eating, it looked like Dr. Chris’s head, which would make sense, but later in the promo i did see owen for like a millisecond, so maybe theyll play out that storyline or something if she realizes dr chris is too mature for her or something.

I am shocked they kept Fiona gay because I thought she just had developed hero syndrome from Holly J always being there for her. I wish they would get Fiona together with Eli because they are both very scrued up children and Fiona would be much more interesting if she were bi but I am excited for all the drama that comes from her being gay.

Surprisingly the promo met the standards of a teen nick promo and its great that much music is finally kicking up the drama but still not giving away to much.
