I’d really like Jenna’s big secret to be something other than pregnancy but I doubt I’ll get my wish. It just seems as if Degrassi has done enough pregnancy/teen mom plots (even if, like, NONE of them followed through).

I guess Riley’s B plot sets up “Still Fighting It.” Here’s how I predict “Tears Dry on their Own pt. 2 to end. Since it’s pretty much inevitable, riley will talk to zane about how much he misses him and stuff like in the locker room or something, and as soon as their lips touch, Owen walks in and the credits role. That would be a KILLER cliffhanger.

I see Jenna and KC as one of those teenage couples who decide to keep the baby and are all “YAY we’re going to have our own little perfect family that has both parents unlike our own did!” and then reality hits! Just the way their relationship is portrayed on the show and how nearly everything on their character twitters are about each other gives me that vibe I guess haha. Don’t get me wrong though, I actually like both of them.
I really do think her “secret” is pregnancy though. Maybe it will be like “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” (SCARY show btw) and she’ll just go randomly into labor at her audition! No, not really, but they’ve never done that before :P Her mother is absent so she might just be oblivious to her pregnancy… And that would certainly trump her pyramid accident embarrassment wise… Ok, done with that now haha
Anyway, I think this season they’ve really been building on KC and Jenna’s relationship and I think that’s for the future plot device. Dont’ hate me, but I actually *like* them together this season. The way they interact is at times humorous and at times surprisingly sweet.

I really think Jenna is doing an STD storyline. My opinoin is based on the “Shark in the water” video, where it shows that Jenna isn’t aware of her own secret… how can she not know she was pregnant? and You see K.C. slowly walking away in uncertainty? umm . . . never picture K.C. walking away from fatherhood. It seems more of an STD story, not knowing she had it and then when K.C. finds out, he leaves her. Getting sick during the audition? Maybe sick as in symptoms for std, not pregnancy. Biggest fear realize . . . getting an std. Not sure though but would diet pills cause any bad effects to a baby if anything?

My brother once knew a girl who didn’t know she was pregnant. She was already kind of a heavy girl, and when she gained a little extra weight, she didn’t think anything of it. Plus she had no signs of being pregnant. Then one day, BAM! labor and a baby.
Just watch that show I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant. It’s enlightening and terrifying.

Its been awhile since I’ve seen the episode where we find out Liberty is pregnant, but I believe that is also the episode where we find out JT and her were having sex to begin with. So even if it hasn’t been mentioned that KC and Jenna are having sex it is still possible they are :P

Yeah I remember too. They were driving, and Liberty told JT she was pregnant, then he crashed into a pole. Then later during the episode, he asked her how it could’ve happened, and she said something along the lines of “Maybe it was that extra large condom last summer!” I don’t remember the exact words, but I know she mentioned an extra large condom slipping off during sex.

I REALLY hope Jenna’s secret isn’t that she’s pregnant, but it would make sense. If you think about it, there have been little signs would would set up the pregnancy:
1) Jenna gaining wait. It could because of her pregnancy.
2) The banana and ranch. Food cravings?
3) “The girl who doesn’t know her own secret”- She may be pregnant but not know it.
And in the summaries, it says she gets sick and her biggest fear is realized. I really hate to admit it, but it has been set up pretty nicely…I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
SO glad Riley’s getting a subplot to lead into Still Fighting It! I’m really looking forward to Aug 16th-19th (even more than usual) if only for Riley. We don’t seem to get nearly enough of him :(

Yeah I agree. It was set up quite nicely for her to be pregnant. And for some strange reason I dont think that the baby is KC’s. I mean I do not believe that they have had sex and on top of that. For her to not know her own secret helps it make even more sense because if she didnt have sex with KC then she wouldnt think she was pregnant. However, if she had sex with someone a little further back and ended up not knowning she was preggers would be genius.

I totally understand what you mean. I don’t like Jenna and KC, and truly I blame the chemistry of the characters. It’s hard to like them because every scene they do sucks, but I don’t think it’s the couple themself. If another set of actors did their scenes, it wouldn’t look half as stupid. But the fact that Jessica Tyler and Sam Earle show no chemistry is what’s holding them back. Which is strange because the actors themselves are good friends. They just have absolutely no romantic chemistr.y

I agree 100%. I’ve been to two high schools so far. My first high school I was there for only grade 9, one girl (whom I did not know personally) had a baby boy and dropped out. The high school I currently attend had two girls pregnant, at the same time. One dropped out to care for her child, the other had her child and is going to complete her 5th year this September. I knew another pregnant chick in middle school, believe it or not, who had her girl, and is doing quite well nowadays. Pregnancies are actually very realistic in high school. People handle them differently, that’s all. It would be interesting if they made Jenna go through a “Juno” experience. Having to go to school pregnant, and dealing with the circumstances, possibly giving it up for adoption ?

I’d honestly like to see another pregnancy story line, they can be handled in so many different ways. Just a hunch but maybe she doesn’t know she’s pregnant, and keeps taking her diet pills. It could possibly lead to a miscarriage which would explain KC walking away from her in the promo …. I guess we’ll have to wait and see :D

I think what should happen is that Jenna is nervous about her audition and KC goes over to comfort her and things… er… get heated. Then the next day at her audition she gets sick, goes to the doctor, and finds out that somebody that she previously hooked up with gave her an STD, thus giving KC it too. KC is upset that Jenna wouldn’t get checked for that stuff and he breaks up with her. This is just my idea though.

i personally think another pregnacy story line is great i think the whole idea of re-doing storylines are great because the show is trying to be realistic right well they have to show a topic with diffrent perspectives and viewers can realte to for example the rape storylines some ppl can relate to paige because of the fact she was raped but the way it happen does not apply to everyone who is date raped and some ppl might relate to darcy rape more because they were drugged and rape or some migth relate to jane because they were sexually abuses as a child so re-doing storylines is great beause there covering a subject that can be handled and done in diffetn ways are more example are emma,darcy and now connor experince with online safty and emma,toby and now jenna with eating disorders terri and fiona with abusive relationships and manny,liberty,emma,anya and maybe jenna with the teen pregnacy

Maybe Jenna is pregnant, but because of the pills she took the baby died. Then for medical reasons she can’t just have the baby taken out right away so she has to go around with a dead baby inside of her for a couple of months.

I think the writers would throw us into a loop and say Jenna just got tonsillitis and she’s too ashamed to tell KC because it might hinder her singing voice.
But I’m betting on STD or pregnancy. Probably, Jenna give KC an STD and she didn’t know about it (some STDs don’t give symptoms at all). Or that Jenna didn’t know she was pregnant or she’s hiding her pregnancy from everyone including KC. I heard stories of teen girls who hide their pregnancy for the full term (IE: Prom Mom).
In short, the possibilities are limitless.

Well the show she is auditioning for seems to be called “Next Teen Star” and the pictures also show that she makes in into the competition. Sooo if she finds out she is pregnant after making it on the show then she will more than likely have to sacrifice the show to handle the pregnancy or maybe even be kicked out of the competition due to her situation. This could mean that her “worst fear is realized” by missing her shot at making it big in the music industry! That’s just my guess though :P

Getting pregnant while in high school, while juggling homework, friends, a boyfriend, extra curricular’s etc. while also trying to make it into the music biz…then having a baby forcing you to put your education/plans/dreams on hold at the age of 15…does seem kinda scary, no? Lol, just a thought.

I’m not positive, but I do think it’s safe to say that Jennas secret is that she’s pregnant. the signs are there. First her sudden weight gain. Then her weird banana and ranch snack combo craving. Finally her getting sick during her audition. If pregnancy is the case, degrassi has done a wonderful job planting subtle hints for us to discover. Although the character of Jenna is obnoxious and almost unbearable at times, I will admit I like her with KC. I feel as though she really does care about him and she wants the best for him. I still think she’s a slut for stealing him from Clare, but Clare is better off without him anyways.

Sad to say but I do think Jenna gets pregnant. It all adds up; food cravings, weight gain, plus there are pics someone from degrassi posted ont twitter where she CLEARLY has a bump on her stomach. Either she’s fat, or there’s a baby growing inside her. And Munro did say that someone was gonna get pregnant this season. Then again it could be Alli, that would be interesting to see, but I highly doubt that.

If you’re reading this, it does have some VERY good theories. In the degrassi shark in the water video,bianca is the girl who makes boyfriends disapear. and jenna is the girl who doesnt know her own secret.Jenna could be a lesbian, or maybe bisexual and that is her secret. Maybe she doesnt know shes a lesbian,making that her secret. And Bianca could be taking her away from KC, making boyfriends (KC) dissapear meaning since Jenna is a lesbian, relationships concerning boys will dissapear for Jenna.
2nd theory: Jenna could be pregnant..the signs are all there:jenna gaining weight,not fitting into her uniform after diet pills helped her lose a few pounds,craving weird foods such as a banana in ranch dressing (pregnant people crave those type of weid things) and usually, pregnant people always have a mood for a food. If they feel like something, they are determined to eat that. In the episode of the diet pills,after jenna craps herself, allie is asking her why she eats a banana in ranch dressing, and jenna responds “Its what I was in the mood for” She was craving that, and ate it. Also, in a later episode, “tears dry on their own” Jenna gets sick at an audition, and pregnant people tend to get sick and not feel very well alot. And also, if you look at the shark in the water video, when KC and jenna look at the banner behind them and realize what it says, KC gives her a scared look and backs away..and then quickly glances down at her stomache..Can it mean something?

actually spike did got to school pregnant she also took classes to take care of an egg as if it was her real own….and everyday in highschool she would drop emma off at daycare right accross the street of the highschool….so when she got pregnant at age 13 she was also getting support from friends at school…..but she said she was embarassed dat in a few months she will have to walk around with big stomache all day at school…..

Actually, my canadian friend who knows one of the supporting cast members from Degrassi told me a similar but much more complex story line.
Jenna had hooked up with a guy over the summer and had gotten pregnant. She didn’t find out until very recently, like you said, which explains the secret she didn’t know about herself. KC and Jenna had had sex, and Jenna tells KC she is pregnant and it is not his baby and that she was raped by a guy(which is untrue, it was a consensual hookup with a much older man). In shock, he breaks up with her and tries to win Clare back, but cannot successfully do so because of Eli. After a few heated arguments with Eli and after Clare chooses Eli, he’s down in the dumps about life. Jenna wants KC back so she lies to him and tells him that it is in fact his baby, and that there was no other guy, she made it up for attention. What was supposed to win him back actually pushes him over the edge, when he realizes he would have to care for Jenna’s baby when he wanted Clare. He commits suicide during school in the boiler room. When Bianca and Drew plan on hooking up in the boiler room, they notice his dead body.

Also, the way in which KC committed suicide looked very homicidal, so D & B thought their was a murderer in school. They told Simpson, which is why the school went on lockdown. The storyline makes a lot of sense, especially since I heard Clare’s reaction to the death is extremely horrifyingly sad. She feels terrible for not picking KC.

They had a suicide in the original series. Caitlin’s ex (can’t remember his name) kills himself in the bathroom at school and Snake finds the body.

Oh and on a happier note, I’m so happy my favourite, adorable, wonderful, gay character gets a b-plot. It’s easing us into his a-plot episodes that follow :D Next week is RILEY WEEK! Haha, yay I’m so excited.

Well (just saying) Jenna could have gotten raped and was drugged so she doesn’t remember anything then she could have an STD or be pregnant. in the promo it shows Jenna anad KC holding hands then KC looks unsure and lets go, KC could maybe not believe Jennas’s story.
But then again it looks like Jenna is trying out for some star search tryouts so she get stage fright or realizes that she falling for some singer at the try outs

no one knows for sure, but S10’s been getting higher ratings than the show has for the past 4 years apparently, so Im guessing Season 11 is definitely a go. i heard 12’s the most they’ll make though.

Ok so this is a theory of the lockdown that has not been confirmed but I bet u anything this is it I think I cracked the secret!! So if this is what’s going to happen ladies and gentleman I present to u the sadest and greatest degrassi plot of all times: ok so Jenna finds out she’s pregnant but not from kc she had a thing over summer with this other guy yadda yadda yadda when kc finds out he breaks up with her leaving him to now want Claire again but Claire rejects him becuz Claire and Eli r now a thing Jenna wants him back do she lies and tells him it’s really his baby when it’s not pushes him really over the edge!! He then commits suicide now this I where the lockdown comes into play he commits suicide in the boiler room where Bianca and drew plan to hook up they find his body and immediatly notify someone this is where Simpson announces the school is in lockdown the police show up and Claire finds his body eventually too which explains her horrifying reaction where she backs away real fast and looks like she’s crying in the 2 weeks left of the boiling point promo Claire feels it’s her fault becuz she turned him down and that’s pretty much the end they weren’t kidding when they said it was gonna be intense!!!

I wish Jenna wasn’t pregnant. It would have been way better if she would’ve had sex with someone before, gotten aids, had NO idea about it, had sex with KC and given it to him; leaving him super pissed. That would make more sense for “she doesn’t know her own secret.” The teen pregnancy is just getting way worn out.
I know they’ve displayed Gonorrhea with Emma and Jay and some weird wart on Johnny Dimarco’s junk but he didn’t transmit it to Alli. Plus aids is something that can’t be cured. It would be something KC would have to live with for the rest of his life for not being careful. :P bwahaha.
