If you didn't cry during "Rock This Town," you are not human.

So what are the Degrassi episodes that have made you cry? There’s only 3 for me, and they still make me tear up every time:

Rock This Town.
Like most people I knew MONTHS before Season 6 even started that JT was going to die.  That didn’t even matter when it came down to the final scene of the episode.  The tears started flowing as Emma, Toby, Manny and Sean huddled around Liberty over the news of JT’s death.

Degrassi Goes Hollywood.
The entire movie Ellie refused to go see her dad, who had finally returned from Afghanistan.  She didn’t want to see him in the state he was in (he had developed PTSD).  When she finally went to visit him in the hospital she bursts into tears as soon as she saw him, and so did I.

When Doves Cry
There’s a scene at the end where Craig runs away, and Joey finds him in the graveyard.  Joey asks Craig if Craig’s dad beats him, and when Craig admits it and starts crying I lost it too.  This was the first ever Degrassi episode that made me cry.

Craig and Joey share a moment in "When Doves Cry."

The only episode that has ever made me cry was the Christmas special. The one with the Caitlin, Joey, and that other woman (whose name I’ve forgotten) love triangle. It was wonderful. So sad that they never stayed together and both of them left Degrassi.

Uhh, the scene where Ellie confronts her mom about her drinking/tells her about her cutting. Is that “Anywhere I Lay My Head”? I’m trying to get over (different) self-destructive habits myself, so when she dumps her x-acto knives on the table and yells, “pick one, mom!”, I got a little choked up.

Also, the scene in which Darcy tells Mr. Simpson (or rather declares quite loudly) that she was raped, and runs out of class. It’s a really difficult scene to watch, especially if you’ve watched the show forever, and are well acquainted with Darcy’s character. When she yelled, “I was raped!”, that line just pierced through me.

    Top 3 tear-jerkers
    1. When Doves Cry – self explanitory.
    2. The Bitterest Pill – I didn’t really cry in rock this town (yes I’m human haha) because the whole episode worked up until the last 30 seconds and bam he is stabbed. The bitterest pill was more of an aftermath and it made you think of how so many people could love him so
    much and all the rememberance.
    3. Pride – poor marco. this one is also self explanitory.

I bawled on Rock This Town.
I watched it on youtube first && called my cousin blubbering like a baby. My cousin came over the premiere night & was stunned, I screamed & locked myself in the bathroom.
