I was thinking about Craig the other day, and how much I HATED his crappy Season 3 mess of a fro. Then that led me to think about the various “phases” peoples’ hair on the show goes through. I can’t recall any Degrassi character who has rocked as many different hairstyles as Manny Santos has during her time on the show.
Anyway, what is your favorite Manny hairstyle? I think I’ve gotta go with Season 4, with it being long and straight, and she let it grow out the entire season. If I were a girl, I’d want that style. Even as a guy I could probably do it, but then that would be very weird/creepy in general.
By the way, I HATED her hair at the beginning of Season 5. I swear to God it looked like Craig took a pair of scissors to it after an all-night coke binge.

season 6. i really loved her hair in Eyes Without a Face. But long with choppy bangs was deffo her best look. And the worst was the blonde hair at the beginning of season 7. I wanted to die when I saw that. I don’t like her bangs now. She needs season 6 hair back.

Probably seasons 6 and 8.
I’d like a little Ashley retrospective! I’d say that she and Spinner have gone through more drastic hair phases than Manny. Manny’s hair was styled differently, but most of the time, was just some variation of long. Ashley’s hair especially changed MUCH more.

Oh Manny… She had some awesome hair adventures.
As did Spinner, though. He’s the only one who could give her a run for her money as far as hair goes.

does anyone know what she did to cause her hair to suddenly become shiny and less frizzy after season 3? the change is so drastic that she looks like a different person after that point? I have a similar hair type to her earlier looks and i wish i had the healthy hair she sports in the later seasons!

I HATED her early season 5 hair. It looked like a bad wig/the kind of hair middle age moms who always ask for a manager would style. I agree that her hair looked absolutely great during season 4.
Speaking of hair, I’ve really enjoyed Spinner’s hair evolution. Every hairstyle (that I remember; rewatching the series now and am only on season 5) worked on him.
