Looks like we will update the theme song, using a male lead vocal this time..
whenever we update the theme song there’s been a huge reaction that people don’t like it… till the next time we updat it lol!
But this time I actually think most people will like it! Think Elvis Costello meets Jonas Bros with a hint of retro Beach Boys-ish BG vocals
Oh, and some cast members singing…

This will be the first time Degrassi has used a male lead vocal for the opening theme. The theme song has been updated (even if slightly) in Seasons 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8. Personally, Season 3’s theme is my favorite.
