Are we all in agreement that high school pretty much sucks? In his latest, Dante gets into a pretty serious discussion about why he hates school.
What he was saying reminded me of how I had mandatory foreign language classes all throughout grade school. I remember learning specific words and phrases, and also how to conjugate verbs (still remember that), but most of it I wound up completely forgetting. How did I go through nearly 10 years of learning French only to not become fluent in it, or at least learn how to actually converse like you would if you lived in France?
But then I remember taking a keyboarding class in 10th grade, and that’s a skill I still use to this day.
