The Degrassi Network is a group of Degrassi fans who have dedicated themselves to providing primary and unique content on a large scale for the Degrassi fandom to enjoy. With Degrassi news so easily accessible these days and the explosion of fans communicating via social networks, these sites go the extra mile to stand out from the crowd.
It’s incredibly easy to create a Degrassi fansite/fanblog, etc., but difficult to maintain over a long period of time, whether it’s because of increasing demands in one’s personal life or a general loss of interest in the show. These are the current generation of sites leading the way!

Long gone are the days of Degrassi-TNG.com and Degrassi The Next Generation Hangout. Degrassi-Fans is now one of the oldest of all currently-active fansites. Before everyone in the Degrassi universe migrated to twitter, sites like Degrassi-Fans had to spend countless hours scouring the web for Degrassi-related info. Erin still does so, making Degrassi-Fans a hub for Degrassi news, promos, pics, press releases and more. Erin is also one of the few Degrassi fans who’s had the privilege of touring the Degrassi set.

The Degrassi Experience
Alex and Taylor have made it their mission to provide commentary on anything and everything Degrassi related. The two regularly produce vlogs providing their wacky take on Degrassi. They’ve asserted themselves in the Degrassi online community, going from just two random girls rambling about Degrassi to two random girls rambling about Degrassi who have daily conversations with Degrassi’s cast and crew, and whose vlogs accrue thousands of views.

ACESOnline
For years ACES has been providing high-quality versions of promos that air on TeenNick. Nicole, Joa and Benji record the promos the old-fashion way, but their effort into snagging a good-quality of a promo makes them worth the wait. Their existence is key; not only do they provide promos and other Degrassi-related snippets on their youtube page, it also serves as an archive. Normally after promos air they disappear from existence, never to be seen again….not on ACES watch.

Degrassi Nation
He’s Degrassi twitter famous for God knows what reason, but there’s no denying Gregg’s mass appeal on twitter. His 13,000+ followers is the highest number of followers for any non-official Degrassi twitter. He’s a premiere example of how to self-promote even when there’s nothing to promote. What started off as a twitter account briefly morphed into a website as well, degrassination.com. However, Degrassi Nation’s flagship is the Degrassi Nation Awards, a self-produced show that recognizes the top actors and moments of Degrassi for the year.

Degrassi Podcasts
Degrassi Podcasts provides commentary about Degrassi episodes and their storylines. While this aspect is fairly new, DJGENERAL, creator of Degrassi Podcasts, has provided exclusive interviews with members of the cast since the onset of Season 10, from Stephen Stohn and Munro Chambers to newer cast members like as Justin Kelly and Chloe Rose.
