Every year Bell Canada hosts #BellLetsTalk day, an initiative to raise awareness and end the stigma surrounding mental health.
If you’re in Canada, Bell is donating 5¢ for every text message, as well as mobile and long distance calls. People worldwide can help by sharing posts from the Bell Let’s Talk Facebook page, as well as tweeting the hashtag #BellLetsTalk.
Degrassi’s had a long history of portraying mental illness in the series. Degrassi cast and crew members, past and present, have been tweeting their support for this cause.
#BellLetsTalk And listen. Really listen. Your ears don't know it yet, but they'll be heroes…or Jedi's. Ugh. End mental health stigma now!
