The Degrassi team has officially arrived at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards Show. This awards show contains a bunch of the technical categories, as well as the categories that won’t make it into the Primetime Emmys broadcast on Sunday, September 20th.
The Creative Arts Emmy broadcast will air on Saturday, September 20th at 8pm ET on FXX. The chances of seeing them on the broadcast are fairly low, but that definitely won’t stop us from using the selfies they’ll post from their seats to triangulate their position during the broadcast.
Below are pictures and video from the trip, and they’ll be updated throughout the night (as well as an update on whether or not Degrassi wins).

UPDATE 9/12/15, 8:37pm ET: Unfortunately, Degrassi lost to the HBO documentary, Alan Alda and the Actor Within You: A YoungArts Masterclass. Realistically, Degrassi was a heavy underdog from the beginning. HBO docs and Nick News have a stranglehold on this category since the early 2000’s. Can’t wait to see what happens next year!
