(Still a chance Claire says no…) But can anyone say they’d be shocked if Eclare is end game?…

I think they will more shocked if there not endgame. You are right Clare can say no or change her mind later on because her friends were there. I read an article today and this was the header… ‘Degrassi EP Stephen Stohn on Season Finale: ‘All Does Not Go as Planned.” So yes there can be some plot twist which Degrassi is known for in finales

I think Clare is going to say no. I loved Alli’s reaction, though. It was spot on with mine. Like, what is this boy doing now?

“Imogen has managed to win Jack back” but why though??

They made spemma endgame with zero set up or relationship history, so if they don’t make eclare endgame after everything they’ve been through I’m going to rage. I know they’re not perfect, they’ve had some serious issues in the past (and with the whore comment which I pretend didn’t happen because it still seems ooc to me) and they’re both works in progress, but when they actually communicate they’re great together! In these past 12 episodes their scenes have been wonderful and allowed us to see how much Eli has grown and showed us him at his best, being nothing but supportive, and reminded me why I fell in love with them in the first place. For the writers to spend years making them this epic romance, calling them soul mates and meant to be and having them always have feelings for one another no matter what was happening, it would be such a rip off to be like lol jk. I’m not saying I want them to get engaged or anything – I’m actually hoping it’s not a proposal for marriage but maybe like a promise ring or a key to his apartment or something – but I want them to be together at the end of the episode. Even if they’re just dating, I just want (need) hope for their future. I know not everyone ships them so some won’t agree with me and that’s cool, this is just my opinion.
As for the rest of the seniors, I love bandallas and jonnor so I want them to have happy endings too. Jackogen back together makes no sense to me but whatever. I hope Drecky stays dead because they’re the worst.
I’m glad it seems like this episode is going to be focused primarily on the seniors since we’ve gotten so few plots with them in this half of the season, and the ones in 14A were mostly Clare and Drew. I’m not a huge Jenna fan but I’m still upset about the lack of her in season 14, and don’t get me started on the lack of Connor. I wish 2 of the 3 plots in each episode in this season had been with the seniors but alas…Im just praying the seniors get a proper send off with their stories wrapped up nicely.

Is it me or is anyone else disappointed about the lack of Clare-Drew interaction in 14B? In general, I’m upset that the writers teased the idea of Clare and Drew being a couple big time. I would have liked to have seen what they are like as a couple, but we didn’t even get to see whether or not they reconciled after Drew yelled at Clare for not knowing who the father of her child was. We also didn’t really get to see much of Drew’s side of the story – how it felt for him to believe he was going to be a dad and then have that taken away. Instead, we got more Drecky drama, which is boring because those two have zero chemistry.

I agree about the whole Drew and Clare thing. It was all this buildup and we got nothing. They barely even interacted and I liked the friendship they built earlier in the season. I also wanted to see Drew’s side of the baby storyline too.
I like Eclare, I do, but please don’t make them get engaged. After a while I just felt like Eclare was forced, I use to love that coupling.

Eclare has become force to me like after Eli printed out the emails to win Clare back. That was so lame especially given the circumstances. The writers won’t let Eli go live his life outside of Degrassi and let Clare move past that relationship (and actually be single for once). This relationship between them won’t work and hasn’t worked in a long time. A friendship between them might as exes can be friends and be there for each other.
I just don’t like when characters stick around after graduating. It becomes painfully obvious the writers don’t know what to do with them (sometimes even before they graduated) and other times they take up screen time that should’ve been given to younger less developed characters. And while these two are talented, Clare’s storyline should’ve been given to another character and continued with a cancer aftercare plot instead for her.
I really did enjoy the friendship between Clare and Drew, loved the idea that a platonic build up could lead to a romance than just throwing them together. Those are the type of relationships I like seeing. It’s disappointing that the writers didn’t continue with that (romantic or platonic) growing bond after Eli came back and they took this unneeded love triangle to another level. My goodness, Eclare is always involved in love triangles and the end result is predictable and leads to it being a waste of time for fans and the characters.
