The Degrassi cast returned from its brief hiatus to take part in one of the final readthrough sessions of Season 13. There are a couple of new faces at the table (between Demetrius and Lyle). While the male’s name is unknown, we know the female character is named Keisha.
Stephen Stohn has been really random in his release of the episode titles this season, so here’s an updated list for the remaining episodes:
1309: Creep (I’m not 100% sure on this one now. TeenNick mislabeled content on their website for Young Forever as 1309 “Creep,” but I forgot a script draft floating in the universe somewhere had the episode title for 1309 as something else).
1313: Who Do You Think You Are
1321: No Surprises
1322: Basket Case
1324: Sad But True
1325: What It’s Like
1327: Army of Me
1333: How Bizarre
If Degrassi’s still doing their episode readthroughs four at a time, then there’s only one season 13 readthrough left (1337-1340).
I wonder which “Creep” the episode is named after, the one by Radiohead or the one by TLC?
Wikipedia on Radiohead’s song: “Creep” tells the tale of an inebriated man who tries to get the attention of a woman to whom he is attracted by following her around. In the end, he lacks the self-confidence to face her and feels he subconsciously is her.
Wikipedia on TLC’s song: Its lyrics are taken from the perspective of a woman who is aware of her boyfriend’s infidelity and in turn cheats on him in an effort to appease her need for affection.
There’s a Stone Temple Pilots song called Creep too.
But, I’d bet almost every cent I have that the episode title is in reference to the Radiohead song.
I figured that it was the Radiohead song too, but now that the promo has pretty much confirmed Drew/Clare I wonder…
It sure would be nice if they put up an older script for us to read…
On the Degrassi instagram account, they posted this: http://instagram.com/p/eVJNhOTKbh/
It shows the title for 1309 to be “This is How We Do It” :)
