Well this second half seems to be a lot less light-hearted than the first promo made it out to be. Or this promo could just be misleading.

I hope that the rest of the season really is intense, and that the promos don’t mislead us. And I also hope that they use everyone’s ideas for season 13

I really hope Cam doesn’t die, the actor is SUCH SUCH SUCH a great actor. Out of all the new characters (and A LOT of the old ones) he is my favorite. He’s just so raw and i WANT to see him deal with a suicide attempt. Sigh. Good job writers, make us care and LIKE a noob before you squash them like a bug.
theories:
1) After Cam’s death, Maya sick and tired of being “the dead guy’s gf”, decides to to make her self over and basically whore around with new guy and zig at the same time and try new things (zombie movie acting). Would be awesome if she became the new mean girl.
2)After witnessing cam’s death Eli starts having nightmares (maybe a little bit of Post traumatic stress disorder?) and he THEN gets rejected by NYU (wait listed i think, because that’s a confused face). Which just makes everything worse and starts having depression or makes his bipolar disorder worse. He starts smoking weed more but that doesn’t help then gets into E which does help, but the crashes just make everything worse so he starts taking it during school hours which leads to him naked hugging Simpson.
3) Dallas is into Alli so he wants to take things slow. She finds out he’s a daddy! so she freaks out. They’re ok again and then Cam decides to be superman and Dallas with alli behind him try to stop him. Alli is in shock and does nothing. Dallas gets mad that being the LEADER of the hockey team he wasn’t able to see that cam was depressed and suicidal, so he blames himself. But he’s mad at Alli because she just stood by and DID NOTHING, but really he’s more mad at himself.
4) After Cam’s death the school blocks off where he jumped and Katie gets mad that maybe the school is not talking about it enough. Like there are grief counselors but no memorial or something like that because the school doesn’t want to make him into a martyr. Mad Katie demolishes the wall in an attempt to honor Cam.

I think something happens with adam, sadly. Beckys crying, Eli drops his coffee, looks shocked and hugs Clare, and at the end Elis in Simpsons office hugging a group of people.
I also heard Jordan was leaving the show (not positive on this)

If something so horrific happens to someone you know or don’t know it can effect your emotions in so many ways. For intance Eli may see someone get killed it amy haunt him and this might be why he does a harder drug or he may seek comfort from by another girl. As for Maya if Cam does die she could have a breadown and start doing things she would never do. Dallas may vent and take it out on the school property if Cam commits suicide. We have no clue wahts in store for us but I know this will cause a lot of people will be out of character but sometimes that happens too

i feel there will def be a suicide this season because monro said they will do something degrassi has never done b4 (except the classic jr high) . n there was only a suicide in degrassi jr high with the tht clyde dude. so most likely suicide
