Today Epitome released the first photo from Degrassi 12C:
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested in Jenna and Connor. Saying this pairing is baffling on the surface is stating the obvious, but I’m intrigued in how/why they get together. Though she was a cheerleader ages ago Jenna isn’t super popular now since having a kid. And of course Connor is socially awkward, and seems oblivious to the opposite sex (remember that girl that liked him in Season 8 and he had no clue?).
Connor’s latest endeavor has been learning how to fit in and joke around with others. At the very least, Connor and Jenna could provide an interesting look at how someone with Asperger’s handles a romantic relationship.

I just got this explanation from the picture. They’e both wearing space outfits that are matching. A coincidence? No! I wish it was what it looks like but I don’t think it is. I think that they’re in some sort of play. I know they are both somewhat theater ppl (Jenna in Declan’s play in season 9, etc, Connor in Romeo and Jules). But maybe it is what it looks like. maybe connor’s finally getting a girlfriend…eek!

Honestly I don’t really care about them as a couple. I think they did this because hasn’t had a storyline in ages and jenna will hookup with anyone that calls her pretty.
