1. So Liam’s in the finale and still no Wesley. lol.
2. Hmm, I wonder if the “shock of a character’s life” is that Fiona family drama.

More discriptions from Much : With the Season 11 finale of Degrassi airing next week, things are heating up for the explosive conclusion of the most dramatic season yet! Fiona’s mom is headed to jail, Clare and Alli’s fight heats up, and is Imogen beginning to suspect her best friend has a crush?

So is the gay-slurs storyline happening tomorrow or not? Cause TeenNick’s website has the same description as cabletvtalk, which mentioned the gay-slurs. But Teennick had the wrong descriptions last week!?

I heard that those are leaked plots for the season 12 premiere but I’ll believe that when I see it.

Am the only one who thinks Fimogen is not going to happen. Sorry just thinking of them together makes me ill. Fiona shouls be with someone that is her own age or a little older. Imogen is just too weird thats why I loved her with Eli they are two peas in a pod.

Oh hell no! They will be so great together. Opposites attract, lol.
Yes Imogen is ‘weird’ and unique, she doesn’t care what anyone thinks. Fiona is more grounded and mature. I think their characters need each other to bring out their better qualities…like bits of their personalities complete each others!
And obviously they have the common interest in the arts too, lol.
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I think it’s cute anyways! ;D

My repost from another site. I’m too lazy LOL.
I’ve made up my mind, whatever plan Fiona has for revenge I do NOT support. At first, I was thinking, “an eye for an eye”, Katie and Marisol shouldn’t get away with what they did to Fiona and Imogen. But now that I see a lot of fans saying that Katie’s recent misfortune “serves her right” and the fact that Fiona appears to be RELISHING it(according to the sneak peek), I’m not backing Fiona up on this anymore. Deny it if you want to, but Marisol was clearly upset(to the point of tears) when she heard the news about Katie. Neither of them need to suffer any further, ESPECIALLY not Katie.
Imogen was the one who was TRULY treated badly in the beginning of the school year. Katie and Marisol didn’t walk up to Fiona and tell her to treat Imogen like shit in exchange for popularity. Fiona RANDOMLY made up a lie to Imogen that Marisol agreed to save a seat for her. All Marisol did was catch on, she wasn’t even thinking about Fiona. Like the spoiled little rich brat that she is, Fiona was so accustomed to hanging out with Holly J, Anya and (occasionally)Chantay, all of whom were popular before they graduated. Fiona didn’t appreciate Imogen UNTIL Marisol and Katie sold her out too. If NOBODY would have gotten caught on the night of the school prank, Fiona would have still been enjoying her new popular friends, acting like a bitch to Imogen AND she probably would have told Eli to kiss her ass next. I don’t hate Fiona but I just don’t love her as much as almost everyone else does. I see right through that chick and it ain’t always pretty. With that being said, I’m STILL shipping Fimogen for whatever weird reason LOL.

Imogen was the real victim. I’m disappointed in how Fiona seemed to glow at Katie’s misfortune and going to rehab when she herself suffers from an addiction and went to rehab. Then again, Fiona didn’t feel horribly guilty about how she treated Imogen (who struggled like her to make friends) until after Marisol and Katie threw her under the bus for the prank. I felt more empathy for Marisol than for Fiona and today’s episode looks like the beginning of a wake up call for Fiona in regards to money and family. I’m interested to see if Declan will actually appear again.
I’m glad that Alli and Clare are friends again. I felt sorry for both of them. Hopefully neither of them will do any backstabbing to ruin things in the future.
Teen Nick commercial – major eye roll. Seriously considering all that’s happening with other characters, they chose to feature an eclare filled preview? Now shocking I guess with last week’s Krew vs Drianca. As for a reunion, Clare still clearly feels uncomfortable around Eli especially with his little outburst so I don’t see anything beyond platonic.

And when they don’t get back together, the Degrassiverse will explode. Maybe the fan girls will go away and the writers willl stop catering to them, and the show can regain it’s dignity.

That promo for next week confirmed everything Kary said about this show pushing relationship drama before anything else more substantial. Fiona’s mom is under house arrest, they’re broke, and she’s moving back to New York, and that entire promo was about ECLARE! Who the hell cares! They haven’t even breathed the same air all season, now they’re the biggest reason to tune in. Not to see how Fiona will deal with monumental disaster or what will become of Fimogen (the only ship they could get away with spinning the episode around), nope it’s all about a couple that shouldn’t be getting back together period in my opinion, especially when they haven’t even resolved their own personal issues let alone deal with each other’s. It’s just beyond ridiculous, and you know they aren’t even going to get together, it’s just a way to lure the mindless fangirls and boost ratings.

Did anyone else get annoyed with Fiona this episode? I was ready for her to ‘stick it’ to Marisol but despite Marisol being deserving of her take down (because of what she did to Imogen) Fiona still came off as a little rich brat IMO…

Yeah, too much time passed by for them to be enacting a revenge plot. They should have undertaken this before Katie went to rehab. It just makes her look petty at this point because honestly, getting thrown under the bus doesn’t matter anymore. No one holds an active vendetta that long over a week of detention for getting sold out on a senior prank, that was your idea. And she didn’t have one ounce of sympathy for Katie going through the same thing she’s gone through. The bigger person is usually the one that’s rootable. Now she’s almost worse than Marisol.

I will always blindly defend Fiona because I love her, but you know what? Teenagers ARE petty and bratty. You can’t expect teenage characters, even the rootable ones, to always make the right decisions, to always be the bigger people. Plus, I’m almost certain that the writers will dedicate a plot to Fiona and Katie overcoming their differences once Katie’s back at Degrassi in season 12. I predict that Fiona will continue to relish the fact that Katie was in rehab once the holidays are done, and that Imogen will be the one to point out what a hypocrite she’s been.
And to those who say that Fiona didn’t feel guilty about how she, Katie, and Marisol treated Imogen in UIA until after Marisol and Katie sold her out, she DID. Fiona clearly felt remorse during the scene in which she overheard Simpson scold Imogen when she returned from her suspension. When she tried to make amends with Imogen, Imogen wanted nothing to do with her. It was at that point that Fiona knew that she wasn’t being fair to Imogen, and vowed to come clean. She felt bad before Katie and Marisol sold her out, but it was only after they did that Fiona terminated her friendship with them.

Pretty disappointed in Fi for her lack of empathy towards Katie’s plight, but I can’t blame her entirely. In her mind, why should she care about people who clearly don’t give a shit about her? What’s happening with Katie is beyond terrible, but it doesn’t erase the fact that Katie and Marisol are generally awful and unlikable people who never sincerely attempted to make amends with Fiona. Fiona shouldn’t be defined by one instance of assholery because she’s shown her good sides numerously, but Katie and Marisol are too underdeveloped for me to truly care about them. But that’s just me.
Anyways, onto Clare. I almost forgot how much I love her. The networks are overselling the Eclare aspect of this all, but it really just feels like Clare starting over with a clean slate and getting her priorities in line, which I am thoroughly enjoying. She admitted she was a hypocrite for shunning Alli and not Jake, confirmed she’s past any conflicts with Jenna (Can people finally move past the whole S9 Klare vs. Kenna debacle now? Because people still bringing that up is beyond irritating.), and she’s being extremely friendly to Connor and K.C. It was just really refreshing to see this side of Clare again.
I do wonder how the Eclare interaction will pan out in the finale. This could be the make it or break it with me in regards to me either wanting them back together or hoping they move on. I’m an Eclare fan, but I’ve always had doubts to how a reunion between them will be written because I don’t generally don’t trust the writers in how they create lasting romance. If Eclare has a meaningful conversation about their unresolved issues and rekindle their friendship, I think I could truly get on board for an eventual Eclare reunion.
And I just love Maya Matlin. She’s my favorite niner, and I relish every scene she’s in. I totally get where she’s coming from about hating everyone around her in school and thinking they’re all idiots, haha. In all seriousness though, I sympathize with the feeling of losing out on opportunity because of a sibling, feeling overlooked, and being uninspired by what high school has to offer.
