OMG! Where are the real storylines?!?!?!?
I’m getting so sick of all this relationship drama. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I seriously hope they step it up in season 12. Hopefully, the writers stop catering to the fangirls and write legitimate storylines. Gah, I really miss the way old school TNG was (trying to not sound like those annoying people who always complain about the new seasons.) But seriously, there is such a notable difference between older and newer seasons.
In the TeenNick promo, “who will Drew choose?” Are you kidding me? I’m OVER IT!
No, I totally agree with you. The older season had a lot more substance to them than these newer ones do, but then again the original Degrassi jr high and Degrassi high has more substance then the older season of TNG.
However i feel like that they are now trying to compete with shows like Gossip Girl and such these days, so that’s why so much change. But i do wish that the focus was more on Katie’s obvious addiction than her her triangle with Drew and Bianca. But i doubt that will happen any time soon.
Any-who, I’m just curious to see how the whole Mo and Marisol thing will go…or fail with shining colors…I hate how slapped together they are. But seeing how hard Mo is trying to woo her over (when i think deep down Marisol doesn’t deserve it), has piqued my interest to how it will pan out from that preview.
A promo really does make a difference on how someone feels about the episode. The TeenNick promo was just hella annoying…horrible. Who will Drew chose? LAME. But the Much promo…MUCH (no pun intended) better. Much more anxious for the next ep. LOVED PART ONE
I usually get sick of relationship storylines … But the Katie/Bianca/Drew storyline is really well done. Although I’m more interested in the Katie/Bianca rivalry.
These relationship plots do need to go away, but I actually like the Drianca/Krew plot that’s going on… At least it’s 10000x better than the Ecakogen (Eli/Clare/Jake/Imogen) love square from Now or Never that occupied like half the episodes -___-
Honestly Drew shouldn’t be given that sort of power (Teen Nick was melodramatic). He’s a cheater and it won’t matter who he is with. If he’s not cheating, it appears he likely will crumble under the pressure when things get really tough (ie: Vince and Bianca prior to prom) and might drop Katie now to ease it.
Bianca is trying to do right and I feel that being in a relationship with Drew might in danger that. Katie needs help (glad that the addiction wasn’t suddenly dropped) and it’s a shame that the two girls didn’t become friends (still hoping in season 12). Is she no longer friends with Imogen?
