PLOT A SUMMARY: Eli wakes up to Imogen taking pictures of him, and asks her if she wants to spend the night. However, Eli’s dad Bullfrog ruins everything by insisting Eli rest. Bullfrog also tells Eli that he shouldn’t be dating, which angers Eli because he thinks his dad is being too controlling and scaring Imogen off with bipolar talk. Eli meets with Imogen in the art room and she shows him a collage she made of him, representing him overcoming mental illness. He loves it until he finds out Imogen showed it to everyone in her class, and he accidentally breaks her camera and freaks out on her. He apologizes by getting her a brand new camera, which she reluctantly accepts. Eli tells Adam that he pawned Bullfrog’s guitar to buy the camera, and when Eli can’t find her at her house or get a hold of her by phone he freaks out because he’s convinced she’s cheating on her.
Eli asks Imogen where she was and she lies to him, saying she was at home doing homework. Then in class the two have an awkward exchange where Eli asks if she’s friends with Jake and questions what plans for the night are, which visibly irritates Imogen. She tells him she’s hanging out at Fiona’s, so Eli and Adam head to Fi’s place and sneak in through a window. Eli thinks he’s catching Imogen cheating with a guy, but it turns out Imogen and Fiona were watching a movie. That leads to Eli and Imogen arguing: Eli feels like everything is about his bipolar disorder and Imogen feels like nothing she say to Eli will ever be right. Eli storms off to his house where he starts trashing anything that reminds him of Imogen. Eli doesn’t understand why he’s behaving this way when he’s done everything the doctors have asked of him, and his therapist tells him he’s just dealing with hormones. Eli and Imogen break up, but they still remain friends.
We could talk all day about how ridiculous Imogeli was as a romantic couple. Yes, their setup was rushed. No, there was no romantic chemistry between them…ever. But when it comes down to it, does any of that really even matter? It’s a tough pill to swallow for anyone who jumped on the Imogeli ship that despite any hoopla from the fandom, networks or Degrassi execs, Imogeli as a couple was a plot device and nothing more.
As bad as it was set up, Imogeli’s romantic relationship was necessary. When it comes down to it, this plot was all about Eli. It was basically a test run to see how he could cope with a romantic scenario breaking down before his very eyes without “Craiging out” and crashing hearses. I loved the complexity of Eli and Imogen’s positions and how they intertwined to make you feel bad for both of them. Eli felt like any time he reacted negatively Imogen assumed he was becoming manic: he was right. Imogen felt like anything she said positively would be taken the wrong way by Eli: she was right. The scene is in Part 2 where they’re talking in class (ultimately about Imogen’s plans to hang out at Fiona’s) kills me. The level of fear and paranoia both characters display is heartbreaking.
The scene with the therapist seemed really weird at first, as if the woman were brushing off Eli’s problems by basically saying “Oh it’s nothing to worry about, it’s just hormones.” But the more I watch it the more her saying Eli has to learn to deal with it (the heartbreak) makes sense. Though he is bipolar and he will have breakdowns at times, sometimes he’ll be reacting the way most people react in a negative situation.
I can’t tell you how much I loved Imogeli’s breakup scene. It has nothing to do with liking or disliking their ship, it’s all about what Imogen said:
“I spent a year fantasizing about you…dreaming about being your girlfriend, but now that we’re together it’s like I barely know you.”
She admits that dating him didn’t live up to the expectations she had in her head. Oh how often that will ring true in our lives now and forever, not just with relationships, but with anything really. Imogeli fans can relate at the moment. And just like Eli, they will have to learn to deal with the heartbreak.

PLOT B SUMMARY: KC finds a letter from the Powells that is an invitation to Tyson’s christening. KC tells Jenna about it, but she’s not interested in going so he goes by himself. He learns the Powells have changed Tyson’s name to Doug, and KC is determined to be a part of his life again. KC starts lashing out at Jenna because she wants nothing to do with Tyson, so he decides he’ll do it on his own. KC randomly drops by the Powells’ house because he wants to spend time with Tyson, but they tell them they’re headed to visit family. KC tries to invite himself, but they tell him that’s not a good idea, and that they’ll just call him to schedule a time for him to visit Ty. KC wants to get a lawyer to sue and regain custody of Tyson, but KC’s mom talks him out of it. KC apologizes to Jenna for being mad at her, and learns that getting over Tyson has not been as easy for her as it seems. KC joins the Science Olympics Team with the realization that he can strive to become someone Tyson will look up to someday.
Just like Eli’s plot, KC’s does a good job of making your feel *something* while you’re watching it. His storyline is saddening on many levels. KC’s in full regret mode, and despite all of his good intentions what happened can’t magically be undone. He wants as much time as possible with his son, but he can’t accept the fact that there’s no room for him to suddenly insert himself into the Powells’ lives, even if he is Tyson’s biological father.
Though this storyline is from KC’s perspective, I love what we saw when it came to Jenna. KC misinterpreted her lack of interest as her being “over it.” In reality she was being smart. Why beat yourself over the head with hurtful thoughts only to drive yourself as crazy as KC was doing? And kudos to us finally seeing the gifted version of KC for the first time in quite a while.

PLOT C SUMMARY: Tori tries out for the Power Squad, but it’s not good enough for her to get a spot on the team. However, Marisol adds Tori to the squad after one of the other girls get injured. Tori agrees to help videotape Zig for a skateboarding competition, but by doing so it makes her late for Power Squad practice. Marisol kicks her off the team, and when Tori pleads for a second chance Marisol makes Tori the mascot until she can find a replacement. Humiliated, Tori wants Zig to be by her side as she parades around the halls in the mascot suit, but he’d rather skate with the guys instead. She tries again to get him to support her by asking him to go to the football game, but he refuses. Tori is hurt because she doesn’t feel like Zig supports her and calls him out on it. Later, Marisol tells Tori to suit up for the Power Squad because someone has volunteered to be the mascot…it turns out it was Zig and Tori forgives him.
The niners have been on a roll in Season 11.5. I knew that had to come to an end at some point. Yes, it’s a filler plot, but even fillers need to have some sort of entertainment value…this one doesn’t. Zig is an unbelievably boring character and has yet to offer any value to the show.
I love Tori and Tristan, but Tori and Zig on their own lack any kind of energy. It’s a shame that Zori shows more enthusiasm in their promo pics than they do in the actual episodes:

Eli and Imogen nailed it! Although I would have loved to see the relationship for more than 2.5 eps. Craig at least got laid when he was Bipolar! Im going to start a “Get Eli laid” campaign!
KC’s story line “makes me gassy” I think its annoying and so is he…although I’m glad they didn’t just forget about a kid but still…KC sucked in the beginning..he needs to move on..
And Tori’s storyline was cute for a niner degrassi storyline…Zig redeemed himself.

This is totally unrelated, but I think degrassi has definitely gone down hill over the years. I used to LOVE degrassi, since the start of season 10 I was like completely obsessed. I’d check degrassiblog like every 5 minutes waiting for a new post, and reading people’s predictions. Now it’s like as much as I try to care I kinda just don’t anymore. It’s like NOTHING ever happens on the show that’s worth watching. I’m a true degrassi fan, so of course I’m gonna keep watching it, maybe something awesome will happen soon :/ Just felt like sharing! lemme know whatcha thinkk

This is exactly me right now. I used to care to run to the TV before the new episodes premiere. Now the time passes and I just don’t care. It always feels like nothing significant ever happens because they do little things each episode and build up to a conclusion later on. That system only works on the summer block. They really need to bring things back to how they used to do episodes for the fall/spring epsiodes, that way it’s actually worth watching plots each week.

For boom, ceciltheturtle, PoohBear:o, Degrassi4life, and all others with similar thoughts: Perhaps what is going on here is that YOU are “never gonna be the same again.” Let’s conduct a little experiment and assume for the moment that you are all 19 years old, or an age reasonably close to that. Now, compare yourself as a 19 year old to the 14 year old version that initially started watching Degrassi. Five years is not a long period of time, but I wager the differences are dramatic. You have new interests, new friends, new aspirations. You don’t like all the same things – food, games, clothes, music, literature, school courses – so why shouldn’t such changes also apply to a television show like Degrassi? You are now older, hopefully wiser, and your tastes have changed. All perfectly natural. To you the characters are now “so boring” and the plots are “old.” But the younger people watching for the first time, or the REALLY ancient coots who *gasp* have their own children might see in the those same scenes and characters something new, or themes that operate on a different, but still entertaining, level.
Yes, the show’s writing and (especially) direction has lately been suspect, But perhaps, just perhaps, your disappointments are driven more by the fact that you are simply outgrowing the show. Issues affecting high school students no longer resonate with you. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, and indeed it’s an excellent indication that you are growing as individuals. Maybe you should now quit the show, spend ten years continuing to develop into new people, and return to the show sometime in the next decade. Others have done the same, often without realizing it, when they stumbled across a show called Degrassi: The Next Generation and recalled how they once enjoyed a show called Degrassi Junior High. You might find the future show, assuming of course there is one (“Degrassi: The Never Ending Story?”), to once again be entertaining enough to “run to the TV” or “check degrassiblog like every 5 minutes”…assuming of course that our pal Kary never grows up :)

I think this could only be argued if the show had remained constant, but your perspective of it changed. Like I have the older seasons on DVD and pick up a lot more on plot inconsistencies and cheesiness at 21 than I did when I first watched those same episodes at 13 (I actually started picking up on it while I was in high school because I used to watch the episodes over and over again practically daily). They are still the exact same episodes I was in love with when I was 13, but now that I’m older and have seen and read much better interpretations of the same issues, I don’t find them as compelling as before, even though I still get enjoyment and appreciate them for what they are.
But the show has made a lot of changes to its format and writing style that makes it totally different from what it was from when we first started watching. Think about the issues that the show covers: mental illness, disease, sexuality, cheating, divorce, rape, drug addiction, alcoholism, stress, pregnancy, etc. These are all still issues when we are adults just as they were when we were teens, and are still relatable because of the underlying emotions and motivations, which are no longer effectively communicated through the writing.

I love Imogen and Eli they broke up maturely and kept their friendship. Yes I am glad they did not sleep together that would add to more complications. But the end of the EP kind of through me. Why would Eli and Imogen begin flirting again after they broke up. Maybe a foreshadow for season 12?? Also I can see they are attracted to each other. I also believe Imogeli is not over.
KC story was just heartbreaking and beatifully done.
I don’t like Zig or Tori.
I wonder if Imogen and Clare will ever be friends.

Personally, I really enjoyed Eli’s plot. So far, I have yet to see an Eli-centric plot that disappoints. This one was no different. Although I agree with the statement that Eli/Imogen was simply a plot device, I too liked the interaction. Seeing Eli freak out over an average type of situation and everyone assuming he’s having an episode is a good way to step off the bi-polar overload and show Eli is just as confused as everyone around him. The hallway and the class room scene were both great because they had a lot of high tension and thick air between the two characters. Those were probably my favorite scenes this episode with the break-up scene close behind. The writing was great. The sly way they showed everyone worrying about Eli without them outright saying it (Adam especially). This episode also highlighted how Eli allows his illness to cloud his mind. Although he constantly denies it, Eli is falling back on his illness as some sort of justification to his irrational and highly sensitive emotions and actions. Bullfrog was perfect in this episode as a concerned father who doesn’t seem to know what to do about his mentally ill child. His role as a catalyst for Eli’s behavior (when he openly talks to Eli about his illness in front of Imogen and suggesting Eli not be dating) is key in Eli’s supposed relapse. Plus, that last scene between the Eli and Imogen was great; glad they have some sort of friendly chemistry.
As for KC, his plot was also very good and gripping. I think the best scene was the one with his mother; it reveals KC’s underlying issue with wanting to be more prominent in Ty’s/Doug’s life. KC says that Jenna thinks he’s a loser baby daddy that couldn’t handle a child. So, after that, it seems like KC trying to be a part of his son’s life is really a way to show Jenna just how capable he really is. It’s almost like KC is using his son as a way to get back with her. However, the scene between KC and Connor that changes into KC and Jenna makes me think that maybe he’s doing it to stick it to Jenna. It’s kind of like a wave of emotions within him. He wants to know his son, but it seems like it has more to do with Jenna in part two. In part one, I really didn’t see much happening inside of KC other than regret for giving up his baby. But the interaction with the baby is heartbreaking, when the Powells say that he isn’t used to strangers, calling KC a stranger to his biological son. The other heartbreaking scene is when the Powells turn KC down with spending time with his boy. Seeing KC finally realize that it isn’t all about him (after talking to his mom and Jenna) is refreshing because we really don’t see too many people who finally get to a place where they understand where other people are coming from.
The niner plot wasn’t all that bad. The simplicity is actually kind of good to see. All in all, this plot comes down to the give and take dynamics of a relationship that so many people struggle with. First off, it was good to see Tori not crying. Zig is a random and boring character that kind of reminds me of the average teenage eighth grader(even though he’s a freshman) because he thinks he’s cool enough to skate and be done, no worries. The power squad was a plot device to give Tori something to be passionate about. I like the jealously still surrounding Tori and Maya when it comes to Zig. Tori being late just so that Zig doesn’t spend time with Maya and Maya suggesting Zig isn’t a good boyfriend. That’s a fun dynamic that, if Zig were more interesting and desirable, would be great to pursue. The Maya and Tori scene was good for reasons previously stated, but so was the scene at the bus. This plot speaks to all those guys who think one good deed can make everything alright and the all the girls who allow one good deed to make up for all the bad and allow it to be the pass for future problems. So, even though Degrassi has done better and this plot isn’t up to par with Eli’s or even KC’s plot, I though it wasn’t nearly as bad as other people seem to think it was.

Maybe it’s intentional that Maya and Zig seem to click. It would make sense even more that Tori senses that and is willing to do anything to keep Zig. I think Maya is refreshing. I get that some people think Zig (and Jake…Wesely too) is boring, but honestly some people’s lives aren’t as eventful as others and we need all the realism to keep a semi balance.

I think… the best thing about ImoEli ship is that it wasn’t their idea. So it helps that it is rushed and instantly falls apart. Imogen didn’t want it for a bunch of relevant reasons, Eli didn’t want it for a bunch of relevant reasons. But when you have an audience (Fi) waving pom poms to go for it it becomes that much harder to say ‘no.’
So naturally it takes no time at all for it to fall apart.
The issue with the niner plot is we’re still in ‘get to know them’ mode. So they aren’t balancing the info vs. interesting as well. …And of the Niners the hook for Tori and Zig isn’t as good as it is for Tris and Maya.

I am very displeased where the Degrassi writers are going with Eli and Imogen. They freaking derailed my ship again. I’m more angry that they are using this break up as a plot device for Eclare and Fimogen the 2 ships I realy dislike. Also why would Clare want to get back together with Eli. She is scared of him. Again she will run off because she can’t handle Eli when he is angry and jealous. Yes I do love Eli, Fiona, Clare and Imogen. I feel The Degrassi writers are going to pair up Eclare again just for ratings. Fimogen is another plot device for the Eclare ‘reunion’ Well shame on them. Now if they are doing this just the Eclare fanbase that would pretty damn shitty for all the other shippers. out there. Sorry for the rant but i am so tired of this Eclare crap and how TeenNick, Stohn and MuchMusic use them as a marketing too. Not everyone likes Eclare. Thats why many fans thinks its the Eclare show.

^^ This is a viewpoint I still do not understand.
To all the people complaining that Degrassi is focusing way too much on Eclare:
Think about how different you would feel about this if you were to JUST watch the show and not pay any attention at all to the promos and Stohn-tweets. Notice anything? Eclare doesn’t seem all that prominent anymore. In fact, the last Eclare interaction was quite a while ago. So why is it that people feel like it’s the Eclare show?
Because they’re paying waaay too much attention to the external material surrounding the show — the tweets, fan comments, promos and such. If you take out all of that noise and focus ONLY on the actual show and its writing, Eclare is truly not as in-our-faces as people make it seem. And when it comes down to it, it’s the actual show and its writing that we’re supposed to be consuming.

Exactly. If you ignore the Eclare hype, you’ll be much happier with the show. Eclare really hasn’t had meaningful interaction in forever.
People probably feel this way a lot right now though because Imogeli was clearly a plot device, and a lot of their shippers feel like they got shafted in order to make way for Eclare (and Fimogen) at the end of the season. What I think is that Imogeli was just a plot device for Eli development.

I am so, so conflicted about Eli’s plot line. There are parts I really loved about it like Imogeli’s breakup which I thought was executed perfectly, and parts I’m not comfortable with, particularly Eli’s therapy session. I get that the message is that Eli and the people in his life need to stop thinking that his every move is a result of his disorder, but it really downplayed how wrong his behavior was. I don’t care what that quack of a therapist said, Eli’s behavior was not normal, and I’m glad a lot of the fandom sees this. And I’m so glad that the Imogeli friendship is staying in tact.
What can I say about K.C.’s plot? Perfection in every way. He’s really truly growing up, and I’m finally starting to understand how exactly we’re supposed perceive K.C., what with all the mistakes and choices he’s made throughout the seasons. I don’t know if I’m a fan of his yet, but I definitely slow clapped when I realized smart K.C. was making a return. I really hope we never revisit Kenna again because I really think they’re better off moving on with different people. Oh, and Connor is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Every line of his is gold.
The Zori plot didn’t even exist to me. So. damn. boring.

I know, but to chalk up what he did tell his therapist to just “hormones” felt incredibly off to me, and it doesn’t settle well with me.
I just can’t get the nagging feeling out of my head that if anyone other than Eli had done the stuff he did, we’d be getting a different message here. Eli’s my favorite male character in this show, and I understand his behavior to a certain extent, but I’m just tired of the show making excuses for him, if only by accident. No one can convince me that he’s actually ready for a relationship right now. I still believe Eli and Clare will only rekindle their friendship in the finale, but now I’m a little worried.

They just made them say it was teenage hormones, and have bullfrog tell eli that “he’s not supposed to not let him date” so that way eli can be in a relationship when clare comes along probably in the season finale.

I am sorry I think Eli’s therapist is wrong. We may see a repeat of what with down with Eclare in the last half of season 10 In season 12 thats if they get back together. Eli can’t contol his jealousy issue. This was the 1st problem Clare could not stomach and was one of the main reasons she wanted a break. 2nd problem Eli is too clingy and way dependent and lastly he manipulated her to come back to him after his crash. Why would Clare want to go back to that. Also Eli did simular things with Imogen. Got jealous, manipulation by buying the camera, stalking and try to get rid of everything that Imogen touched. Sorry this is his bipolar not hormones. Guys don’t do this when they get jealous they usually confront the other guy and maybe punch them. And they get info from the other guys friends or just confront the girlfriend.

This is exactly what I was thinking except I don’t even think you can blame it on his being bipolar. He has shown that he is incapable of sustaining a healthy and balanced relationship. We’ve seen it with Clare and Imogen, and it was probably the same with Julia too and was made worse because she died. And I’m going to call it what is: abusive behavior. If you go to any website about domestic and dating violence and look up the warning signs, these are all classic behaviors. But I guess because Eli isn’t portrayed as a complete douchebag, then we’re just suppose to ignore all that.
This wouldn’t be a huge issue if everyone who watched the show realized that the behavior is messed up and shouldn’t be a part of any relationship, but there is a sizable proportion of the fanbase who don’t see it as an issue and interprets his ridiculous behavior as a sign of how much he loves his girlfriend and we should all be so lucky to have that. What’s worse is that the writers know this perception is out there, yet they don’t seem inclined to send the message that some pills and good lovin’ are NOT going to fix Eli’s relationship problems. In order to do that, Eli would have to at least acknowledge that his behavior was inappropriate so he can actually work on it. Or even worse, they make that behavior seem normal by having the therapist say “it’s just hormones.”
And gabbehhhh, you’re right that if it was any other character there would be a totally different message. I don’t understand how the writers can write more honestly for some characters, yet a select few seem to always have their negative qualities whitewashed to stay the golden child (I’m looking at you Emma, Craig, and now Eli). This franchise has lost the socially conscious integrity it had with DJH/DH/DTNG S1-4 and has become all about plot points meant to pull in the ratings.

I agree with the other storyline A plots you gave, but I honestly enjoyed the niners part. I was filler material, but it was adorable! I honestly don’t know why people hate zig he’s such a cutie and I love the way he acts he is just goofy, and immature, just like a freshman should be. And what he did for Maya was really nice. Obviously we don’t know much about the niners yet, but I think the writers will know how to make it so they become characters we fall in love with. After all they’ll be sticking around for a long time, as long as degrassi doesn’t get cancelled before they graduate.

I don’t know though, but this ABC plot scheme is making it hard to develop characters, I still don’t really feel attached to katie, jake, marisol, and the niners yet because we only see them every 4th episode or more. and honestly i start to lose care for drew, bianca, wesley, ali, and dave because they are either in the background or aren’t having their plots until later so they just aren’t there at all, its hard to feel the degrassiverse is truly unified anymore.
I still love it for some odd reason though, but the season 1-9 were exceptionaly better,
it seems like ever since they switched to the nicer cameras, soundtracks, and filmography in season 10, the characters have become less believable, despite the acting. Random thoughts, sorry. Either way season 8 sucked, just sayin

I agree with you about the ABC plot format. I’ve been saying for a while now that each A plot should also have a corresponding B and C plot. Like, in the episode before the A plot, the storyline should be built up in a B plot, that way the suspense is pre-built before the A part and the A spot can be used for character development and in depth storylines. The following episode after the A plot should continue said plot as a C plot in order to wrap up the plot and make it appear as though the events of said plot don’t just disappear but dwindle down into a negligible mention.
As for the underdevloped characters of Katie, Marisol, and Jake. I think the writers made a mistake by immediately involving all of the into relationship plots before giving them smaller, individual C and B plots. The niners are different considering we just met them.
The others, like Alli, Drew, Bianca, and Dave are all heavy players that Degrassi likes to build up to. While I agree that they become invisible when they don’t have a main plot, I don’t think we lose interest all together. I do wish the entire cast was somehow seen in each episode (possibly each plot) just to make it seem like a cohesive school.

I completely agree with how underdeveolped Katie, Marisol (who has been there longer), and Jake. There’s a clear unbalance between which characters get screen time to deveolpe further and which are left to become plot devices or not show up at all. We know very little about them even though we’re near the end of season 11.
Even though Katie has an eating disorder (which doesn’t look to be coming back), I kind of hope Jake has an eating disorder too (or something to give his character a boost) since it’s widely thought that females are more victims of this disorder but in reality males are too but it’s not heavily discussed. Katie’s love of soccer should’ve gotten a bigger spotlight in Now/Never.
I honestly feel that sometimes the writers are getting sloppy and aren’t bring their A game with them. I feel that instead of focusing on getting everyone attached, they need more focus on friendships, family dynamics, and personal issues.
I loved the fact that in the final scene KC is getting back to his original roots like when he first appeared. I hope that Clare (and Alli) does too because it seems almost forgotten.

They’re going to need to mix up the niners with other grades next season, if they don’t by the end of this one. There’s a little interaction here and there, but we need to see more than an isolated plot with just 4 characters. Looking back at the original recipe TNG, Grade 7 had JT, Toby, Liberty, Emma, Manny and later Sean. Then with the Grade 8’s (and that class going forward), we had Spinner, Paige, Jimmy, Ashley, Terri, Marco, Ellie, Hazel, Craig. And with those 2 grades, we had plenty of interaction between the 7’s and 8’s. It’s hard to tell stories when you only have 4 people in your grade, so I hope they figure a way to have them interact with other grades in the near future.
I wish they put more effort into Imogeli because this simply felt like a stopover to an Eclare endgame. They should have spread this out over the rest of the season if you asked me. We still could have had the same outcome, but this felt like a rather shitty excuse of a way to appease Imogeli fans, while still catering to the Eclare fans.
Praise Jebus for 2 Clare-free episodes!!

Thank you, I am an Imogeli fan and yes that was pretty shitty. I really hope that Eclare don’t get back together in the final. Many fans will start giving the writers a lot of crap on how one sided Degrassi is becoming. Thats one thing I don’t want.

It irks me that Imogeli was a mere plot device. Their flirting after breaking up proves to me they could’ve done better as a couple if they took things slowly and didn’t fall under Fiona’s pressuring.
I honestly think Eli’s request to start “where we left off” is either towards Imogen, as saying that to Clare would be way too random with their limited interaction and their clear romantic disinterest in one another, or is merely him saying that to someone else without any romantic intentions (like being interputed in a presentation). Teen Nick and the writers have been playing with the fan wars thing for months now since they’re getting similarly reactions that happen between some team Edwards/Jacob fans. It’s tiring now.
I know there some people hoping that now Eli and Clare will get back together. While it’s fine to hope, it really wouldn’t be healthly for either of them. Eli’s actions aren’t solely based on his illness and I’m glad that he doesn’t want that to be used as some excuse for his behavior. His actions make me wonder about Julia all the more and if the writers will turn him into an abusive boyfriend (but hopefully not the extreme in the means of beating his girlfriend).

Aya, thank you. I don’t think Imogeli is over. I think Eli is going to see Imogen and Fiona kiss. I think Eli is going to feel betrayaled by Fiona and heartbreak with Imogen. Which may lead Eli’s, Fiona and Imogens frienship in the shitter. I think Eli and Clare may get the closure in the final which is cool. I have a geeling Eclare is going to finished in the final.

Sorry I meant to say~~ I think Eclare is finished in the season final as in the romantic dept. If Eclare do get back together I bet we will have a repeat of the Eclare fallout like they did in the 2nd part of season 10.

I thought the Eli/Imogen plot is one of the more boring main plots I have seen in a long, long time. Seriously, I was thinking about it, and decided I haven’t been as uninterested in a main plot since Holly J’s storyline in “Hide and Seek,” which aired over a year ago in the spring block of Season 10. I just was incredibly unengaged and reading Kary’s plot summary made me think, “Did that really happen?” On a positive note, I am excited to see Bhandurner is back together for now… Hopefully the writers will fix the huge mistake they made in Nowhere to Run where they broke they two of them up.
