Degrassi was at the Emmys this weekend…this was a ceremony for the Emmy cagetories that will NOT be featured/announced during the actual Emmy broadcast. They were nominated for Oustanding Children’s Program, but lost. But that didn’t stop a group of fans who called themselves the “Degrassi Red Carpet Creepers” from greeting the cast at the ceremony. I’m thoroughly jealous of them because no one in Hollywood knows what the hell Degrassi is, so there were only a handful Degrassi fans there (as opposed to the hundreds of that scream and shove and lose their minds at meet and greets).

I dont understand Aislinn’s fashion choices… she has a pretty figure and she consistently covers it up. The dress would have been pretty but it was too long and why did she pin her hair back like that? Curl it and keep it down, for someone with short hair is is always up!

I think Aislinn looked really classy actually. A dress doesn’t need to be short to look flattering or accentuate her figure. Less is more as they always say. And I think her hair pinned back looks elegant.

I’m kinda bummed that they brought Aislinn and Munro. I get it, it’s who the fans want to see, but come on, we’re on Maislinn overload. Jordy, the one who MADE THAT EPISODE SUCCESSFUL, should have been allowed to bring whoever she wanted rather than have Epitome tell her. I can’t help but think there are other Degrassians she’d rather hang out with. And really, on your special night you shouldn’t have to play second-fiddle to Munro and his fangirls.

I don’t know why everyone keeps saying this. Eli and Clare were major supporting characters to Adam’s storyline in MBIAC, so it only makes sense that Aislinn and Munro accompanied Jordy. I actually don’t believe this is some conspiracy to overexpose Maislinn.
Also: according to a MuchMusic video, Aislinn and Jordy are best friends off-screen.

Sucks that Degrassi didn’t win! They really did deserve it. It was still great for it to be nominated, though!
And, the first interview isn’t available anymore. It’s been taken down. Oh well, I’m sure it’s out there somewhere now. Also, I would be so nervous meeting the cast, creator, producer, etc. I would probably make a fool out of myself, lol.

Couldn’t those fans choose a less stalky sounding name? I don’t think I’d ever want to associate myself with being a “creeper.”
That’s too bad they didn’t win. It would have given them the exposure they deserve, despite not being nationally broadcast. Who even gets the REELZ channel anyway?
They have such a huge following in the states, I don’t know why they don’t do any fan events here. They had an entire summer off from filming. They should have been alternating groups of actors spending time at MM and traveling to some of the larger US cities. They should do a Haiti screening in NY with those actors in attendance.

I’d love to know the story behind the photo of Jordan and Chaz Bono. Also, Aislinn looks super pretty, though I think she could’ve made the make-up just a little bit more natural-looking.

haha so I’m working today and Jake Epstein “Craig” walked in my job hahaha I got nervous but he was soo cool btw this is in NYC he’s pretty tall too with a noticeable beard haha just thought I’d share.
