1126/1127: Take A Bow
1128/1129: Dead and Gone
These are the final four episodes of the summer block. FINALLY we also got the first look at the mysterious character Mo (the guy on the far right):
Mo will be played by Jake Neayem, a very good friend of James E Campbell’s (Fitz). Mo is a new character, but Jake isn’t new to Degrassi…he played a student in the episode Holiday Road:

BOO on anyone getting held back. It was understandable with Jimmy and Spinner, but with anybody else, c’mon, it’s not that hard to graduate. Seriously. If Bruce the Moose can graduate…

Fiona was DRUNK at finals, she was in rehab, and she transferred from that school in NY. Of course she’s going to get held back.

hmm thats funny, i thought the same thing too. he does look kind of different. but i must say, Mo looks like a pretty chill guy. personally, he seems to be the most interesting new character for season 11

The reason Munro looks a little different is because he got a haircut. And Im sooooo glad they didnt just cut Mos character. Its about time they got a little meat on the show. The only heavier character we have is Connor

Dead and Gone??!!! Does this mean death, finally?! The lyrics (it’s T.I. f. Justin Timberlake, whom they seem to name every episode title after these days) say “the old ME is dead and gone” which would make sense following something like “Take a Bow” (Rihanna) … but I’m REALLY REALLY hoping it means death. Degrassi usually takes episode titles literally. i will be so pissed if it’s otherwise.

I knew it! I knew it was the same guy from Holiday Road, so I guess that was Mo’s unofficial first appearance. Kinda cool they brought him back considering his character was said to have been attending Degrassi for his whole high school career, it makes it seem like he was actually at Degrassi previously even if he only had a few lines. Glad they didn’t drop the character.

Actually he was 2 credits short… but Johnny graduated. And yeah, your right, Fiona staying back a year actually would make sense. With the whole Bobby sitch, she would probably not focus so much on school, and even said with her trust fund she doesnt care for college, took her exams drunk, and spent a month in rehab.

I don’t know what I find more exciting, the new promo or the unveiling of Mo! So glad they didn’t cut his character. Just judging from his description, I’m going to love this character.
