Monday 3/14 was the first day of shooting of Season 11, but they still can’t confirm anything yet because TeenNick hasn’t officially picked up Degrassi for another season. It’s funny and annoying at the same time. Degrassi is the reason TeenNick had its most-watched year ever (2010). Heck, Degrassi’s the only reason the network gets ratings to begin with, so whether or not they’re going to bring back the only relevant show the network has is a no brainer…stop screwing around TeenNick and just make it official already.

i really hope people who have only watched one or 2 seasons don’t just come on here and vote for the couples they know… it scares me that connor/lovequeen16 actually have 17% right now against jimmy/ashley… i didn’t even LIKE jimmy/ashley, but.. LOVEQUEEN16? really??

I started watching during season 9 but I’ve gone back and seen every episode:) and I agree, Jimmy/Ashley weren’t a great couple but I mean them vs creepy Internet stalker? The choice is simple! Also, I can’t believe Rick/ Terri even have votes!

For the most part this was a no brainer, except for johnny/Alli going up against eclare, Johnny and alli where my favorite couple of all time. And I have been with Degrassi since it first premier in the states, back in the day when it was still on Noggin and before the-n(now teennick). They stand no chance! oh well, at least I get to see a johnny/alli reunion on next weeks episode B)

Dolly J and Fadam are wayyyy too close for comfort… And choosing between Kenna and Peter/Mia was painful. Talk about two of the worst couples in Degrassi history… it was like picking the lesser of the two evils. Also, kinda wondering why Marco/Dylan is giving Cranny a run for their money. I don’t necessarily like Cranny, but I feel like that relationship is legendary. Oh, and I think Ziley has a strong chance of advancing far. Unlike Eclare, that couple has virtually no haters.

Johnny/Alli caught a really bad break in the 1st round. They can beat most of the other couples in the tourney :/

Sorry for the confusion. Not all of them are bad. I just don’t want there to be biased voting because many of the voters are people who have only very recently started watching. I was biased myself once. I started with season 10, but then I went and watched every episode ever and I like the old ones more.

So feeling you on this. It makes me want to go back and watch series-defining couple episodes like “Holiday” and “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?”. Although I think when this show finally ends, people will look back on current powerhouse couples like Eclare and Ziley and appreciate them in the same way.

most of my favorites were in the same division. I’m not even a big fan of Palex. And I would have gladly picked an actual couple over Ellie/Marco, but oh well.
