Okay so about the rumor of someone dying? People are thinking it’s gonna be one of the main characters.. but I think it’s probably gonna be one of the minor characters. Like Anya’s mom or Jenna’s kid or like a teacher or something.

Why is everyone SOOOOO convinced that someones dying?!?!? God its so annoying. No one of importance to the show ever confirmed that someone was gunna die. Everyone decided there was gunna be a death cuz of the stupid death card in the Shark in the water promo but THAT PROMO WAS JUST FOR THE BOILING POINT!!!! the death card was representation of eli’s secret of about JULIA’S DEATH! Anything that was shown in the shark in the water promo is irrelevant to any of the new episodes.

I think it’s a vioce over of Holly J saying “Fiona pulls you in.”
He probably pushes her away because it’s the same scene when she says drinking makes it easier to be with him and he probably doesn’t like hearing that.

Why would you even want to know someone dies before hand. What’s the point of watching the show then if you already know what’s going to happen. Even if you don’t know who it is, it still ruins it.

Evidence against Eli dying:
-He’s a new character with a starring role, and it’s not likely that the writers would have only brought him on for one season.
-He’s extremely popular, I’d say more popular than JT ever was. Granted, the writers could not have predicted that Eli would gain such a devoted fanbase before developing his storylines for the season.
-TeenNick is notorious for its misleading promos, and nearly every promo we’ve seen for the last chunk of the season would imply that Eli doesn’t get a happy ending. If that were in fact true, it would not be given away in the promos.
-We have not received any news regarding Munro Chambers’ departure from the show. Although we haven’t heard about any cast members leaving, have we (apart from Landon)?
Evidence for Eli dying:
-Basically everything that has been implied in the promos, what we know about the character’s history, etc.
-Munro is much older than a lot of the cast, and perhaps the writers are worried about how long they’ll be able to pass him off as a teenager, so they have decided to write him off (though I’m grabbing at straws here; it’s pretty weak evidence).
-Eli’s behavior is eerily reminiscent of Rick’s, and we all know how audiences felt about him, and what happened to him. If Eli were to venture off into Rick levels of possessiveness, it may be difficult for the writers to make him into a sympathetic character that we want to root for. On the other hand, Craig’s emotional problems didn’t make him any less of a “good guy”.
I really don’t think that Eli is going to die. It’s too predictable. Isn’t the season supposed to end on a cliffhanger? He may be injured, or his fate uncertain, but I’m quite sure he’ll be back, next season.

well, i look at it like this, i dnt really want eli to die cuz he’s been such a good character who has a lot of drama in his life and his storylines are awesome. but if he does die, then clare might go off the deep end…now that wuld be very interesting to watch. i feel like theres a lot of things that culd be done with clare, they culd take her in whatever direction they wanted to, really. :)

Okay people yeah Eli does go over the top but thats what makes it wonderful. Its fits together great, he lost Julia so theres bound to be some unstability there and then after clare decides she needs some space he freaks out. The hole in him left by julia he filled with clare so if she leaves him the hole is back again and i doubt he ever wants to feel that miserable again so he decides to give her a very insane ultimatum promise to be with me forever right now or im crashing my car and killing myself. Pretty ironic, gonna commit suicide in a herse lol.
