A little over a week ago Luke Bilyk did an interview on Blogtalkradio with The Amani Show, and the host asked him if he could share any spoilers about what’s to come in the final episodes of Season 10 (which will air in early 2011):

To listen to the complete interview (which is about 20 minutes long), CLICK HERE. Yayyyy for a car crash (the instant assumption is that it’s Eli/Clare related). And we all know that Drew’s character is the one dealing with drugs. As far as the stuff about the death/shooting how it happens isn’t really relevant, it’s all about WHO it’ll happen to. Back in Season 6 when JT died it was a very sad episode, but it didn’t make as big as an emotional impact for me as it could have because we knew months in advance that he was going to die. Personally I hope that they keep a very tight lid on which character will die…no hints on twitter or in tv promos…nothing. They WILL benefit by keeping fans in the dark on this until the moment the episode airs.

Has anyone noticed that there is a pattern for deaths on Degrassi?Rick died season 4,J.T died season 6,and someone’s going to die on the season finale(if anyone does die)which is season 10.The only person who I think will die from this point is Declan because he is leaving the show and he wasn’t in the “shark in the water”promo,even though everyone else was.

Yeah I was totally thinking the exact same thing. I think he may just be leading us on. I dont know if Degrassi may plan to have another death. Its possible but hmmm who would it be. Who has that much impact on Degrassi that the writers are going to have leave the show yet would still be significant enough to change Degrassi, as the shootings with Rick and Jt impacted and changed Degrassi forever.

Doesn’t it make perfect sense that Declan may be the one to die considering the actor who plays him is going to star in a new show? They have to end his character some way…they can’t just leave it as if he’s off to Yale and that’s it, considering he’s been an integral part of the show for such a short time…they wouldn’t have made that so if they didn’t think he was going to hang around. But, considering he has a new job, they have to do something with his character.

Hmm my guess is that if there is a death its gonna happen in hide and seek because hide and seek is about when there is a death how it effects you and how everyone around you is effected by it so it has to be hide and seek

I really hope that Riley or Zane don’t die. I don’t think that the writers would be so insensitive as to kill off one of the two gay characters, both of whom have shown a lot of strength, especially in light of the tragedies that have involved gay youth, this year.
I can’t see Clare/Alli/Eli dying, as Eli was just introduced this season as a main, and Clare and Alli are the heart of this generation of characters.
MAYBE Declan, but I don’t know what sort of an excuse he’d have to make another appearance. He knows that Holly J and Sav are together. He wouldn’t try to win her back yet AGAIN.
It may not even be a main character. Maybe Anya’s mom will end up succumbing to her cancer. It’d be strange if the writers pulled off a THIRD successful cancer story. Also, the writers have never tackled the death of a LOVED parent.

But in an interview with Samantha Munro she said she really wanted to know what happens to Anya’s mom, so she was hoping she would find out in Season 11. So I’m pretty sure her mom won’t die in Season 10, plus Anya’s mom dying wouldn’t make a big impact, and it would only affect Anya.

This whole DEATH Assumptions are great! I understand why they wouldn’t take the heart of the Generation out, because they are too good to lose just yet; Who cares when they air the death episode as long as it come, if there even is a death episode. Now for my guess:
I think that they might have one of the Older characters die!
Who would it be? I have three guesses!
Darcy Edwards- Clare’s sister, I believe it’ll be a great storyline for Clare. Trying to cope with the fact that her sister is gone forever. It’ll effect Alli, considering that’s her Bestfriend; Eli, Her boyfriend; Jenna, because it seems they are rekindling friendships. And it might even effect Holly J. Sinclair And Chantay Black, For one Chantay knew Darcy and she was on the cheerleading team with her. Holly J. Because her and Darcy had Issues with each other. One last character! Principal Snake! Archie, Because she got him suspended from being teacher and they had ups and downs. Lolzz. There’s a big possibility that it wouldn’t happen because it would effect the whole school. Just because some one outside of the school is dead.
Fitz- Oh every time I think about his character I get chills, but in a good way. I have a feeling Clare is going to like him and they might form a relationship, and I think they look cute together. I was watching the boiling point, “ALL FALLS DOWN”, I have to say that episode actually looked like a setup for Clare and Fitz. But dealing with the death… I think Eli finds out about Fitz and Clare secret relationship and he gets really upset and wants Fitz dead! Lolzz… Again, they’re just guesses so it’s a big possibility that it’s not going to happen.
Jenna’s Baby- Well this one is kind of dumb… But it’s not like a real death, but wouldn’t it be cool storyline for Jenna to get a miscarriage. I mean it’ll be epic, then she tries to ask Anya how she dealt with, thus finding out that Anya lied about being pregnant. It might be to great of a storyline to see Jenna to carry out, It’ll be too hard for her; if she loved her unborn child, she would have to breakdown and just lose it. It might be too hard for the actress herself. But you never know; she might can pull it off! She has improved a lot… It seems that “Halo” was a setup for it, considering that stress and your emotions effects the child! She might lose her child because she’s been dealing with stress, sadness, Oh and don’t forget the diet pills the whole season! It might not be her Baby because who could it possibly effect other than herself and K.C.
My three assumptions… It might even be Declan or Snake! He’ll have an impact I bet he would!

It seems like Degrassi is really getting into the cliffhanger thing. I’m pretty sure Fiona and Anya have both said in interiews that their characters leave off with cliffhangers.
It would be crazy if Drop The World ended with a bunch of the students being hurt in a car accident and one even dying.

okay, did anybody notice that Drop the World Part 2 airs 4/22….the same day julia died???
Someone tweeted him and asked Drop the world part 2 airs on 4/22, on the show that’s the date of Julia’s death.. does that mean something? and he answered: Yes.
For the curious Eclare fans who might’ve asked, Stephen was also asked: on a score from 1(being the lowest) to 5 (being the highest) how intense will eclare be in the final part?? and he answered: 100.

thats a very interesting theory but i doubt that they wud just suddenly kill off eli like that. after all he is still a pretty new character and i THINK (not positive) he said he plans to be on degrassi for a long time in an interview i saw a while back.

If someone does die, I think it’ll be Declan or Jenna. Declan because the actor is going to a new show, so it would make sense. But I can also see Jenna having problems during childbirth, and her or her baby getting sick or die.

They already said it won’t be a suicide because that’s the one thing they’ve had to shy away from on the show. And wow, @jesse. You’re smart. i cant think of a whole lot of characters that they could logically kill off. it won’t be fiona or holly j, because they’ve talked in interviews about being excited to film season 11. i dont think it would be jenna since she has a big storyline coming up with being a teen parent. it wouldnt be clare or alli because they are the female leads of their “generation” and will need to take over when we lose the current seniors. it wouldnt be adam, eli, or drew, since they’re such new characters and important characters. (i cant see them killing eli, they said adam would be staying all the way thru school, and drew is kinda necessary to him). it wont be snake, cause they’re not getting rid of brogren any time soon. it wouldnt be riley or zane, cause they need their token gay characters.
that leaves sav (its a possibility), anya (i doubt they’d bother with her dying), declan (i have to admit, it IS a viable way to get him off the show, and would definitely cause some drama, but i cant think of how he would get involved with a gun), kc (it would suck for jenna, and its not like he’s doing much plot-wise right now), bianca (i dont actually think they’d kill her this soon, but she doesnt have her own storylines, so she wouldnt ruin the show), and fitz (which i think is most likely).

I think the death will be Fitz.
I was trying to come up with some theories as to how/why he would die and i came up with this one: its WAYY out there, but ok here goes:
SO in the promo, fitz shows up at clares door, and a lot of people said he looks vulnerable and in need of help. i heard some people think Fitz could have problems at home like a step-dad or mom’s boyfriend who hits him. Well i thought that might make a little bit of sense, like as a reason he’s a bully or something. well what if Fitz gets beat to death? they havent really covered abuse since craig, and this would be a dramatic way for someone else on the show to go. And also, fitz isnt in the credits or anything, so…
i also dont think it will be declan since he’s only coming back for one episode. that would be a bit lame. Character shows up one scene, the next he’s dead. theyre only 30 min episodes…
Just a thought :)

i think it might be Fitz because I think somebody said that in the 2011 promo, Clare and Eli are in his hearse, Clare’s driving, and she hits somebody who might be Fitz. I’m not sure if it really is him, but…

Um… Guys? Stephen already confirmed that the Spring Break Special is episodes 1-4 of Season 11. It can’t be Dave, Alli, Jenna, Sadie, Drew, Bianca, or Sav, because they were shown filming the Spring Break Special. Adam has been confirmed to be a permanent character, and with good reason-he hasn’t even had his surgery yet. Fitz has been confirmed to be in the opening credits of Season 11. Simpson won’t be leaving the show ANYTIME soon. Wesley, Owen, Zane, and Ms. Oh are new,so… Eli, Holly J., Anya and Fiona have been confirmed for Season 11. Clare and Chantay are in the last mini of the season, which was filmed after the finale. That leaves: KC, Connor, Riley, and Declan. PS: Stephen Stohn and Michael Kinney personally confirmed to me that Armstrong will be in Season 11 :)

Even if you didn’t there was no need to attack. I don’t know what the lyrics say or the song is about. I’ve never heard of the song and I don’t obsessed over Degrassi to read the lyrics of a song to find out what an episode 6 months in advanced is about. What I’m trying to get to is your hateful marks at other people when they really aren’t necessary. This is a blog for a television show. There is no need for attack other people and cursing, especially when a lot of the times you can be the one who is incorrect or when the other person is just stating their opinions. For Example, “DIPSHITS! IT’S IN DROP THE WORLD!!” was your comment. For one you don’t know that the death is going to happen in there just because of the title/lyrics or just because it is the season finale. Yes, it’s possible/most likely that, and I would assume that too but it hasn’t been confirmed and you don’t know that for sure.

Ooooooh now that its been brought to attention. I think KC WOULD be a great candidate for death. I mean that wud be horribly tragic. Poor teen mom jenn feels like shes gunna have to raise her baby alone. Feeling abandoned. Then gallantly, KC steps up, takes his spot as daddy & things start falling into place when BAM!! KC dies in a freak accident & poor jennas right back at square 1 raising a baby alone.

I don’t think it’d be KC. I feel that’d be too much like JT and Liberty’s situation. Granted, their baby had been adopted by the time of his death, but I think that the writers actually intend to show a situation involving teen co-parenting with KC/Jenna, which has not been done on the show, and has become a relevant issue with the success of shows like Teen Mom and 16 And Pregnant.

I get the feeling no ones gonna die. Or at least I’m not holding my breath till it actually happens. I remember how disappointed some people I know were, after no one died in all falls down, even though it was obvious like 3 weeks in advance no one was dying.

Well they also confirmed that Johnny is coming back, and so is Alli, so maybe Johnny and Alli have something go on again, which would explain Drew on drugs, and then Johnny dies for some odd reason

Has anybody ever thought that either Riley, Zane, or Owen die because of the feud they have going on? If you think about it Riley has major anger problems and Zane is just kinda caught in the middle. That could explain the gun, even if none of them die. And if would be a good storyline for the “this is what happens when you beat up a homophobic”. Just a theory?
