Alexx just doesn’t get a break.
Over the weekend a pic was posted of the web of Alexx at (I believe) Luke’s b-day party. The pic was taken at an upward angle, and those kind of shots are NEVER appropriate if a female is wearing a skirt/short dress. Regardless of the photographer’s intentions (they said they didn’t initially take the picture with perverted intentions), actually posting it and placing a derogatory caption next to it makes them a douchebag. The end.
Maybe it’s me, but I don’t get the random Alexx hate that’s been randomly buzzing around. She seems very friendly and personable with fans on twitter. And her bff-ness with Spencer is, to quote my friend Rebecca, ADORBS! Check out her latest youtube vid:
Oh, if you didn’t know, Alexx is going to be making her Degrassi debut in 2011 as a new character named Sadie…we’ll see her at some point during the final episodes of Season 10!

You are not the only one who sees the problem. Alex is really cool and I do not get it either Kary. All you can do is just shake your head at the haters. The person who put the pic up knew exactly what they were doing.It’s not like the person was a little kid but the situation is over so hopefully things go well for Alex and potential future cast members who may receive hate or be the center of gossip.

Yeah. Life Unexpected is on a Highway To Cancellation. Don’t get me wrong, I love that show, but both seasons only have 13 episodes. When The CW brought up the option to order the back half (episodes 14-22) of Season 2, they decided against it. I believe that when The CW starts renewing their shows in February, Life Unexpected is likely to be cancelled due to low ratings. On the other hand, Landon is leaving Degrassi because he scored a lead role on a new supernatural series on Fox. I forget the name, but… He flew to Australia to film the pilot, which’ll air in May, and, should the series get picked up, it’ll start airing in September. And yes, by now, the random hate against ANYTHING and everything either opposing or ‘interfering’ with Degrassi is uncalled for. As is the whole ‘Write-off-Eclare-And-I’ll-Stop-Watching-You’ mode that 80% of the fans have recentlyswitched2 . Their relationship is cute, but Degrassi lasted 30 years without a couple like them-why’s it such a big deal now. Goddd…

HELLCATS – This show sometimes goes overboard with the girlyness but the plots are really good;
They did sexting and this week they did date rape/breakup/lying and it worked really well

I have to admit that 90210 has gotten extremely addicting. At first, I watched it for Shenae, and then I kept watching out of sick curiosity to see if it would ever get better.It may have taken a season and a half, but it finally did. Don’t get me wrong — it still wishes it could be Degrassi, but it’s embracing its inner self as a guilty pleasure teen soap opera.
And I’ve liked what I’ve seen of Life Unexpected, but I need to catch up on it majorly.

And the sad part about it is, I LOVE Clare. And Eli is a pretty cool dude. But if I see them TOGETHER for one more second, I’m gonna throw up. The fans are rabbid these days. Some psycho chicks on Twitter, one being a girl named @kandersonxoxo were HARRASSING Stephen Stohn, saying things like, and I quote: “You are doing a HORRIBLE job producing this show. The only reason I watched Degrassi was because Declan was on it and Holly J. was a prep. But now she’s all good and it’s not like her! Give us more Declan! He’s the hottest guy on the show, and Degrassi would be nothing without him. You aren’t giving me what I want, so FUCK YOU! I’m gonna go watch Gossip Girl now.’ < HAHAHA! Like seriously, what the hell? Now back to the other issue. Honestly, to make ALL of the fans happy, they should just write Eli and Clare off the show and into their own. Their fanbase is a series in itself.

but it’s not even like Clare and Eli are on every second of the show. It’s just that you can find people talking about them all the time, so it’s not their fault. people always talk about them because they like them, and everybody has the right to say whatever they want. plus, i would be one of the many fans who would be very, VERY disappointed if they wrote the two characters off.

One more thing. There is a MAJOR movement to get Angela Jeremiah, AKA Cassie Steele’s little sister @alexasteele back on the show. Now more than ever, it is important that we fans UNITE and make that happen! Why? Not because WE want it, not because WE miss her, but because SHE said herself that she would love to come back to Degrassi. And Stephen Stohn has already said he’ll consider it. PS GO @alexxben! I’m sure she’ll be a great addition to Degrassi :)

I was a bit pissed that Melrose Place was canceled, mainly because they didn’t give this show a chance AT ALL. I missed the ‘season’ finale, thinking it would be on again. But what do you know? Yet another show that ends on a cliffhanger. Along with My Generation, Lone Star, Past Life, Sons Of Tuscon, One On One, 10 Things I Hate About You, Huge, Ruby & The Rockits, Moesha, The Best Years, Instant Star, About A Girl, Beyond The Break, Radio Free Roscoe, and now possibly The Assistants… Just reminded me of how much I hate TeenNick.

I know I felt Melrose Place should have had a second season to give it a real chance. The season finale to Melrose Place as sooo good too. I was really hoping it would come back. Ella was my favorite.

Regarding Landon leaving the show, is he leaving this season, because the show that he’s going to be in Terra Nova, if it gets picked u, it’s not suppose to air until 2012, which gives him a whole year with Degrassi unless some miracle happens on Life Unexpected and they want to keep him for that show.

I just can’t see Declan being around to film many Degrassi episodes next Season, if any at all. Terra Nova’s been picked up by FOX. They’re airing the pilot in May 2011, then airing the rest of the season starting next Fall. They’re supposed to be under production of the pilot now in Australia…then they’re going to wait until after the pilot preview in May to film the rest of the episodes.

I’d love to see Declan again. But I felt like his last episode sort of wrote him off. Almost seemed like Holly J and Declan saying goodbye until college.

I feel ya. It seems mandatory that all shows are ended on a cliffhanger. There are certain cases like My Wife And Kids and One On One, where the creators were promised another season which didn’t fall through. Then there are shows that are canceled because they’ve been waiting so long to get renewed, like Angel and Unnatural History. Some shows are randomly dropped by the broadcasters. A major example of this is all shows associated with TeenNick. Sometimes new promos are made available, but for some unknown reason they never air the new episodes, as was the case with Radio Free Roscoe. Some shows are just randomly dropped, like Moesha. Oh and BTW, ABC SUCKS! I know for sure that if I filmed 20 episodes of a show and got canceled after TWO, at least air the rest. Otherwise I don’t care what reason you’ve got, I’m suing your ass. Also, the supposed death of Declan in Drop The World is becoming more and more of a reality :( I love how he goes from player to Prince Charming to lonely to dead…

BTW the woman who plays who plays KC’s mom has scored a new role as a parent on the American version of Skins, which takes place in Baltimore. But don’t worry: She is NOT leaving the show. Luckily Season 1 of Skins has already and/or is filming, so I assume that unless they write her off of Degrassi, she’ll be back in time for the filming of Season 11, which begins in 3 MONTHS!

No HeadOverHeels, they most definitely are. Clare has been in 14 episodes straight. And I’m pretty sure if they got written into their OWN show, the Eclare fans would not be upset. And you’re right: people can have an opinion. Which is why I have every right to voice the fact that this is Degrassi, not Disney, and no one gets a happy ending. Not this early on.

Yea, Clare has been in 14 episodes straight, but she wasn’t always with Eli, and what’s so bad about happy endings? There is such thing in real life once in a while. Anyways, it’s not just Eclare. They are each their own person which means they have their own friends. That means they might show up in their plots as supporting characters. Besides, each episode is half of the actual whole episode, so you’re definitely going to see somebody two weeks in a row. And what if they broke up? Then, would you be happier?
