Now through December 6th you can enter TeenNick’s “Halo With Degrassi” Sweepstakes. The GRAND PRIZE winner (along with up to 2 guests) will take part in a “Me to We Volunteer and Leadership Trip, where they’ll help build a school in another country with two Degrassi cast members.

It says in the official rules that it is random choosing. But I think it should be based on what you tweet about what charity work you do.

I’m not complaining about the contest but I just wish that more than one person could win something. They should have a grand prize winner, then a 1st runner up and a second runner up. The other people could win a Degrassi poster or something signed by the cast.
Also, what country are they going to to help build a school? When will thye be going on the trip? Which two Degrassi cast members are going? It seems like they left alot of info out.

They probably want to keep it as genuine as possible so that people can’t fake their service based on which cast members and which country they choose to go to.

I get what you’re saying. If they said Munro is going, girls would make up stuff just to get a chance to meet him. It’s supposed to more about helping out others. I still think they should have other contests that have the general purpose being to meet the cast or win something Degrassi-related.

They have meet and greets, but since a lot of the cast has school they are restricted to the Toronto area, which sucks. And yes I agree if they were to announce that Munro was a part of this contest, they would be swarmed.

I’m sure we’d have more details if the trip was early next year, but since it’s so far away the only thing they know for sure is that Degrassi will be participating in “Me to We” again.
And announcing which cast members are going would be difficult now since it’d be hard to know which ones will actually be available then.

Finally American citizens get the chance to enter a FANTASTIC contest. I have been waiting to hear what it would be the first time they mentioned it. But right when i saw those rules..i died. why the hell do you have to be 16 and older? it crushes me to death. i swear im the biggest degrassi fan out there…
