Alas, video of the first 5 minutes of episode 1025, Don’t Let Me Get Me (which airs Friday, October 8th on TeenNick and MuchMusic). Yes there’s not much to it….since when have the first 5 minutes of any episode been uber interesting?
However, The Exec informed us this morning that this clip being posted in iTunes was a mistake, and is an early edit of the episode (so those of you freaking out over the opening credits can chill out now).
FYI: If you didn’t already know, Don’t Let Me Get Me Pt 1 AND 2 will air on October 8th, and then they’ll go to airing just one 30-minute episode per week starting October 15th. I hope you’re ready, because you aren’t going to realize how ungodly slow the second half of Season 10 is going to feel like until it’s here.

i agree..personally i think what clare did with the whole stink bomb is way worse than eli poisoning fitz..cuz all that happend was that fitz threw up and clare made the shcool evacuate and messed with the test scheduling!

Eli lied to Simpson and told him Fitz did the stink bomb when it was really Clare and Fitz probably got a detention or suspension for something he didn’t do. That calls for a suspension right there. Add on the fact that Eli and Fitz have been fighting on school grounds which is an automatic suspension. Also, Eli poisoning Fitz whether he ‘just’ threw up or not is very dangerous and I’m not sure but poisoning someone is possibly illegal since it very easily can result in serious damage or even death.

I was kind of wondering about that myself. I mean, both Eli and Clare lied to Simpson. Yes, Eli was the one who came up with the lie, but Clare went along with it, which is really just as bad. Although, I suppose that the excuse for Clare would be that she was only doing it to stop the fight.
Also, I’m not sure Simpson knows about the poisoning. They left it unclear as to whether or not other people at the dance knew that Eli had poisoned Fitz, because for all anybody knew (if they happened to witness Fitz throwing up), Fitz could have just gotten sick. Unless Fitz told someone. I think if Simpson knew that it was Eli’s doing, there would have been a bigger deal about it right after it happened, because if someone was going to tell him, he would have known about it before the cops showed up. And it’s not like either Eli or Clare told Simpson about the poisoning, seeing as they only mentioned the lie about the stink bomb…

I think the whole poisoning thing just goes along with how they don’t get a long and fight all the time whether Simpson knows about the poisoning or not(which I don’t see how he would know). Like how Eli said Fitz got made and tried to teach me a lesson and Simpson replies by saying you lied to me, there will be serious consequences. Yes Clare doesn’t get in trouble (that we know of) but Holly J&Sav and even Ali didn’t get in any trouble either even though what they did doesn’t really compare to bringing a weapon to school

We don’t know that they didn’t get in trouble. They probably just got a week of detention or something – because none of them did anything to the severity of what Eli and Fitz did. Eli and Fitz endangered each other’s lives. Everyone else just did minor things in comparison.
And I think Simpson probably does know about the poisoning. Undoubtedly they would have heard Fitz’s side to the story at some point, and I’m sure he wouldn’t leave that out.

I think Clare’s anger is more because of the police and metal detectors, not about the uniforms. That was just my interpretation, though…

Guys dont worry about people like that. In the internet world there are people out there who do this thing called “trolling”. If you pay them any attention at all you feed right into what they want and thats to get a rise out of you. Seriously the best way to get back at people who post stupid crap like that is to ignore them. Don’t post anything in response to their post.

I’ve lurked on this blog for a long time and today I’m making my first post to say that I’m 25 AND just had my first baby in June and I still watch Degrassi. I think I’ve seen almost every episode several times, with the exception of season 9. Sure, I’m a girl, but some people might say I’m “too old” to watch Degrassi… I could care less. It’s my guilty pleasure show! I enjoy watching it and even though my friends don’t get why I like it, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Kary, your blog is great and it’s always the first place I go to for any of the latest Degrassi information. Thank you so much for all your hard work and just ignore anyone who has a bad attitude. They have too much free time on their hands and instead of doing something positive with that time such as what you’re doing, they’re just being jerks to total strangers for no reason. Forget them!

I’m grateful that there’s someone like Kary out there who posts Degrassi information. When I want to find out if there’s any news, his blog is the first place I check. It obviously takes a lot of hard work to stay on top of all the news and to keep people updated.
I think it’s only right that it should be appreciated.

naw back to the once a week is much better. Its so much easier than to try and get over loaded with a crammed down your throat show. Degrassi isnt suppose to be made for that!!!

I don’t understand why their uniforms are blue and red. The school colors are blue and gold, so shouldn’t their uniforms match?
I may just think that because I had to wear a similar uniform from Elementary through Jr. High. Khaki pants, Polo shirts (That had to be in school colors) and only allowed jackets if it had something to do with the school.
It was a suckish uniform, but it’s nice to finally see a school on television have to deal with that mess too.

i think its cool that they have uniforms like that because my school uniform is almost exactly the same. beige pants, navy blue shirt with yellow logo-we just don’t have the red ones we have white instead-and we have no cardigans or skirts but its basically the same :)

At schools where I am from people wear different colored shirts to signify what grade they are in. Blue is the Seniors, Orange for the Juniors, Purple is for the sophomores and I think red for the freshmen.
