I love the Secrets promo way more than the Crushes promo! They’ve finally given us some kind of footage of Adam, which I was excited to see! Personally, I now think Adam is a girl who wants to be a boy. And I’m guessing a lot must go on between Anya/Sav/Holly J, because we’ve seen clips of what seems like Holly J and Anya playing Sav, and now we’re seeing Holly J and Sav go behind Anya’s back, so I’m interested to see how that plays out. I’m still pretty upset about not seeing any Declan! On another website, someone had an idea that when Declan goes to get Fiona off the roof, it’s a trick and someone pushes him off. (Remember that was just someone’s thoughts and speculation, I’m not saying it’s true), but that sounds like it could be a possibility, seeing as how I don’t remember seeing any clips of Declan actually at Degrassi! He was such a huge part of Season 9, I’d hate to see him just disappear; and if that’s the case, I hate seeing the way Holly J., who was so in love with him, get over him that fast and move onto Sav.

Key word: KINDA. I still don’t like him much for his blackmailing Riley. That just put him on my “Hate” list immediately.
But the fact that he doesn’t hurt adam, and is actually related and cares about adam (contrary to what I thought previously), raised him from the “hate” list to the “dislike” list.
and poor zane! he looks so sad/hurt! no riley no! don’t ruin it! you got SO incredibly lucky to get such a sweet and ADORABLE bf for your first relationship with a guy! don’t blow it! D:
and shit with the adam thing. I can’t wait to see the story. Degrassi definitely knew what they were doing when they pulled up season 10. No more old characters, and they pull out the first transgender? Plus a gay blackmail storyline, a death (probably), and REAL abusive storyline (I don’t count the Terri one, because they didn’t go enough into it). AND they make sure to pull off one amazing promo after another! I haven’t been this excited to see degrassi since . . . too long!

I don’t think Holly J and Sav are messing around. I thinks is all apart of Anya’s plan for revenge. In the Much Music promo Holly J says to Anya “You wanted revenge, this is it”…I think Anya and Holly J are teaming up to get him back. Im guessing the plan is for Holly J to make Sav think she’s into him or whatever, then screw him over. In the Carnival promo when she walked up to him and pulled the knife out, she had a look on her face like “That’s what you get bitch/Don’t mess with my friend again.”

I just noticed, the boy with Fitz looks a little bit like the boy that Riley is with when he’s taping Drew’s mouth, but I could be wrong.
It looks like both Adam and Drew might be getting bullied this season. Although some people already have this preconceived notion that Drew is gonna be easy to hate because he’s threatening to blackmail Riley, I don’t think he’ll be that bad. We haven’t really seen any sign of him breaking Alli’s heart, even though it seems like it’s inevitable since it’s believed they will have sex really early in the relationship, setting Alli up for heartbreak (along with him telling her to get off his back, but we don’t actually know what’s bothering him, especially since he’s wearing the same navy blue shirt as when he gets bullied by Riley, so that could’ve been the reason he was so upset). He also seems to be genuinely caring for Adam. Whether he’s good or bad, I think he’ll be interesting, since he is involved with Alli, Riley, and Adam. It seems like he’ll be pretty important this season.

Anya/Sav/Holly J. I really don’t know. I think maybe either Holly J and Anya are getting back at him by Holly J acting like she’s into him and then screwing him over, or she does do that, but eventually falls for him. I think this was mentioned on here though.
Clare and Eli sitting together: Awww..I love them together. They’re so cute.
Jenna and KC: I have a strong feeling that they’re going to break up. Still not sure about Jenna’s big secret, but I’m pretty sure KC’s gonna get jealous of Eli and Clare.

My predictions:
The girl that KC was looking at was Clare cause he might want her back so Jenna gets jealous.
Sav does a jackass move again so Anya wants revenge against him. So her and Holly J want to see if Sav would ditch Anya for her friend while she is pregnant.
Adam is trying to hide his boobs and vag from everyone cause he doesn’t want them to know the truth, which could be part of the reason why him and Drew transfered schools.
Drew blackmails Riley, Riley kicks Drew’s ass, Zane gets mad at Riley, and they possibly breakup.

I think Jenna big storyline is she has OCD.In a recent interview the girl who play’s Holly J said someone has OCD,and in the shark promo Kc sorta like fades our like Jenna’s pushing him away.In this promo you see Jenna freaking out and they in said it leads to obbesion (sp) and when Kc has the football gear on she say’s talk to me and he say’s Ive tired talking to you or something…..That’s just my guess.The rest of the storylines look great.

I’m still wondering what must happen in the movie that causes what must be a split between Declan and Holly J :( And it looks like Holly J and Anya’s relationship is once again going to fall a part. I know Holly J used to like Sav but for some reason I can’t imagine her with him now.

I’m soooo excited for the new season!!! This is gonna be the best one in my opinion..more secrets, more drama, more everything!! I personally think that the whole Anya/Sav/Holly J thing is kinda crazy( i love them, don’t get me wrong). Like why does Anya need to get “revenge” when she started the whole thing? like if she hadn’t told Sav in front of The Dot that it was a plan to make him crawl back, he wouldn’t have told her that he didn’t want to be with her anymore(which is a lie because he is WHIPPED!) but I can’t wait to see what happens with that. Now Allie(one of my FAVE characters) must really not care about what she had said about sex after her and Johnny had sex. but lets see if they go all the way. The one thing i am excited to see is the whole Spinner/Jane/Declan/Holly J thing…it’s kinda funny that Holly J fell in love with Spinner who goes out with Jane who cheats on him with Declan who ends up going out with Holly J who had saw Jane and Declan kissing. lol..i LOVE Spinner and I really want him to be happy because Spinner had to deal with so much drama in all of the 10 seasons he’s been there. I wonder what’s going to happen with Holly J and Declan’s relationship ( which to me is one of the best ones besides Emma and Sean && Craig and Ellie(FINALLY!) looking foward to the new Season!!!!

I think that we’re finally getting some more three dimensional characters, with Drew. He doesn’t mind black mailing Riley, but us protective of his step brother Adam. He isn’t all bad but he isn’t all good either. I think Fitz bullies both Eli and Adam that’s how they become friends. If you remember in the first boiling point promo the police were pushing the three of them against the wall. So anyway you put it this season is going to be the best one we’ve had in a while!

Sure, Drew is blackmailing Riley, but let’s not forget Riley is still lying about his sexuality. Yes, it’s Riley’s decision whether to come out or not, but he’s definitely hurting Zane for his own selfish reasons. So if you’re gonna say, yes Drew seems nice, but is still doing bad by blackmailing Riley, then we can also make a case for Riley being a jerk too. The good thing about this is that Degrassi isn’t just making a bunch of characters who are either good or bad, they’re beginning to make a lot of these characters more complicated; and the fact that we’re disputing something as simple as whether someone is good or bad, it shows they have us pretty confused already. =]

Ahh, but since s10 didn’t start yet we’re not sure if Riley is denying anything. He could just be keeping quite and not saying “I like girls” like he did in s9. So w/ Drew blackmailing him it could be consider Drew is trying to out him(not that I think he would go as far to tell the school, just to knock Riley off his top spot. Basically, Drew’s blackmailing is just an empty threat.) But, if he(Riley) acts like he did in s9 during s10 I agree with you.

I honestly have to disagree with you about riley being a jerk. Being gay is a HUGE deal for someone like him, especially with the types of people that he is around, and big jock like him coming out is something he’s just not ready for. You can’t say someone is being a jerk when it’s something as big a deal to them as their sexual orientation. Riley also has fallen under the sad problem where his self esteem is too harshly linked to how others view him. Coming out isn’t just a “no big deal” thing for everyone, and calling someone a jerk for having the issue of it not being a “no big deal” is kinda ridiculous. We’ve just seen a case point of what riley might’ve been afraid of. Drew uses Rileys insecurities and hesitancy about coming out against him in blackmail.
Also, the guys on the football team jumped Jane when she joined the team; imagine what they would do to Riley to find out he was gay – there are reasons he might be worried about it!
I’m sorry about ranting, but I had a gay friend that found it really hard to come out. Accepting and revealing the fact you are gay is an extremely big deal for some people, and that should in no way make them a jerk for being hesitent. It should be completely understandable.
Now, Drew, on the other hand, has no excuse for blackmailing (illegal!) for something as private and personal as sexuality, and is completely out of line in that case.

I’m not saying that coming out is “no big deal”, and I’m not saying he’s a jerk for not wanting to come out, but if he still isn’t sure and isn’t ready, then he should tell Zane and end the relationship until he’s 100% sure that he’s okay with people knowing. I think it just shows that Degrassi is putting more work in character development with Drew. He isn’t just a big meanie who messes with Riley, he does have some good in him to care for his step brother. I think the writers realize how flat some characters are/were and are making up for it this season.

I don’t get why everyone seems to think that Drew is so nice simply because he asked Adam what did they do to him,That’s his stepbrother and there’s a bond there,im sure he isn’t gonna say something like “That’s what you get” or “You deserved it”. If someone messed with someone close to you, wouldn’t you ask what’s wrong as well?
And being that Drew wants to be the star of the team of course he and Riley are going to have some sort of Rivalry. And from the looks of it, Riley bullies Drew first,Drew catches Riley and Zane messing around (Drew peeking in the gym or whatever it was, etc) and from that point on Drew has Riley in the palm of his hand. Im sure Riley wouldn’t mess with Drew knowing that he knows about him and Zane.

Okay this is what i think about the whole Anya/Holly J/Sav situation,i think that while getting revenge on Sav as planned,Holly J starts falling for Sav and then Holly J and Sav have a secret relationship and maybe when Anya finds out she says its ok for them to date because she is over Sav,at least thats what she tells Holly J.And then Anya realizes how mad she is about the situation amd she tries to steal Sav away from Holly J,Which is why in the Shark in the Water promo it says ”The Two Faced Girl”.

I’ve been reading Kary’s blogs for awhile now and everyone has such unique opinions on Season 10, some of them really good and some not as good, but here are mines. Let me know what you think !
Alli and Drew
-Alli finds Drew sexy, they hook up, Alli becomes clingy like with Johnny;Drew dumps her
Jenna, K.C, and Bianca
-Bianca is new to Degrassi and is mad sexy, just like Jenna was when she first came. Jenna has a disorder/disease/STD/etc. Bianca flirts with K.C, K.C falls for her temptations and dumps Jenna.
Eli and Claire
-Cute couple. Both are sort of outcasts and are hoping for change. Eli is sort obsessed with death(Driving a hearse to school), Claire tries not to let it bother her. Eli is constantly bullied for being different, Eli maybe attempts a suicide or a murder?
Sav, Anya, and Holly J
-Anya wants Sav back, so she teams up with Holly J and fakes a pregnancy. Holly J pretends to like Sav and then dumps him, exposing him somehow, except that Holly J begins to develop actual feelings for him and feels sorry about it afterward.
Adam
-Definitely a girl trying to be a boy or at least transgendered. I believe that him, Bianca, and Sav somehow get involved in some trouble, hence the car scene, where Bianca is telling him to floor it.
Riley and Drew
-Riley teases Drew, just to toughen him up, but Drew is serious about being the top dog and catches Zane and Riley together, black-mailing him.
Fiona and Her Boyfriend
-Fiona says she likes the bad boy type, so abusive boy is what she gets. Fiona begins doing things that her boyfriend doesn’t like(embarassing him, etc), hence the abuse and Fiona goes crazy, her family finds out and are out to get him.
These are just suggestions, sorry if I said anything, you didn’t like.

From the beginning, it was obvious to me that Adam is a female-to-male transgender. In the Carnival promo, Adam walks into the hall of mirrors as the person s/he wants to be. Then in the mirrors, Adam sees the person he once was. It symbolizes him constantly being reminded that he was originally someone he didn’t want to be. Then he walks out, uncomfortable at the sight of his former self.
Transgender doesn’t necessarily mean sex-changed. It could mean a girl who feels like a boy and thus dresses, acts like and claims they are a boy. Even after a sex change surgery, you can usually tell they used to be the opposite gender.
I’ve heard a lot of theories about Adam actually being male-to-female, but I think that’s very unlikely. If that’s the case, Adam wouldn’t dress in guys’ clothes, he would make himself up to look like a girl. He would embrace a female lifestyle and leave his male side behind as much as possible. Also, they probably wouldn’t hire an actress to portray them. Like I said, very few transgenders look EXACTLY like their desired gender. If Adam was MTF, they would hire a male actor to play him and have him dress and look like a girl. And Adam would probably change his name to a female name and be referred to as “she”.
I never expected Adam to have gone through an actual surgical sex change procedure, even before this promo aired. From the looks of it, the promo seems to confirm my beliefs. Adam is probably 15 years old and sex changes cost A LOT of money and take a lot of time. I know there have been younger kids who have had a sex change, but those are very rare.
I’m not saying this is the way it is for sure. I could be wrong, but this is just what I think on the whole situation and just wanted to put that out there.

it looked like holly j had a black eye at 12 secs. in secrets but idk of its just my phone. but secerts revealed more info personally. espically adam getting pushed thru a THICK glass door. my prediction is that the guys find out he’s a she and beat him up resulting with adam having glass in his head.

They should have waited a few seasons to change Clare’s look. They could have at least kept the glasses. After all, Liberty and Toby were stuck with them for 8 years.

well also pocksuppet, you have to remember that times are changing too. I’m not acting like the earlier seasons were WAY back in the 40’s or something, but back in the early 2000, my cousin was about 17 when she got contacts, and she had had glasses since she was about 8. Now, just the other day, my friend’s doctor told her she needed glasses, and she’s getting contacts in a only a couple months. Just because one person had glasses forever doesn’t mean another person should. And I think we need to WATCH the season before making snap judgements about how ‘different’ claire is other than physically.

How do you know that Leia, Chantay, Connor, etc. won’t have storylines? There are 48 episodes this season. Actually, there’s absolutely NO excuse for any character not to have a plot this season. If any (high school aged) character in the opening credits goes without a storyline, I will be VERY disappointed in the writers.

When Drew says, “What did they do to you?” could mean he’s concerned for Adam, but could also mean something like, “What happened to you by being friends with those people?” or something along those lines, as if Adam’s changed by going to Degrassi and befriending Claire/Eli and Bianca(?).

Wow! That’s actually a really good point, because when Adam reacts, it’s almost as if he’s surprised or taken aback by it. Also, Drew’s tone of voice makes your idea seem more valid. Initially, I thought his tone was upset because he wanted to get the people back, but now I’m not so sure. Interesting way to look at it!

Good promos. I liked the “Secrets” promo better. It was more intense. Here are my ideas. I think Anya wants revenge at Sav so she asks Holly J to tell Sav that Anya is “pregnant” so he will freak out again. Holly J and Sav start to fall in love with each other and try to hide it before Anya finds out. I think Sav will be involved in the lockdown.

Wow that would be such an awkward scene to watch haha, especially considering how blatantly female Adam looks/sounds. Not to say that your idea isn’t plausible and I could see the writers possibly going that route and having us extend our ability of disbelief a bit, but I’d have difficulty buying Bianca not having an inkling about Adam’s true nature.
I’m really hoping they have Bianca go the lesbian/bisexual route people were guessing earlier, which make sense as it would set her apart from Fitz and the other bullies messing with Adam as she might be more sensitive to the character, leading to the supposed friendship hinted at in the “Floor it!” scene. Although from the Secrets promo, she just sounds really confused.

Keep in mind that the “Floor it!”-scene where it shows Adam and Bianca together could happen PRIOR to the “What’s going on there”-scene. Therefore, we can’t say it’s awkward for them to be in the car together like nothing happened, because at that point it’s possible that they hadn’t yet shared that little awkward moment.

Why do most people think Adam is a biological male? The character is played by a female actress, and is clearly a female who dresses and identifies with a male. Not the other way around.
I don’t think Declan will appear after the season premiere. The first episodes are about Fiona and Declan in New York. The only evidence of Declan in this season are of him saying “Did you do this to my sister?”, clearly in the season premiere episode. He’s not in ANY other promo, not even a snippet. Also, Holly J is clearly single or on break for some reason, so it’s obvious Declan is out of the picture for now, at least for the first half of season 10. I hope I’m wrong though. Declan/Holly J are one of the few interesting, believable things still on Degrassi.
I’ve also gathered that Holly J is seeking revenge on Sav for Anya. In one of the promos, it shows Holly J telling Sav that Anya is pregnant. In another promo, you hear Anya saying “You said it would be different this time”. I’m convinced that Sav and Anya hook up/get back together early in the season, and Sav doesn something really screwed up to hurt her, so she gets revenge by either pretending to be pregnant, or having Holly J try and break his heart, but maybe Holly J starts to develop real feelings? Not sure. But this reminds me of Manny/Emma/Peter from S5. This theory explains most of the Holly J/Anya/Sav promos, as well as the carnival promo (“Anya, the two faced-girl” and Holly J throwing daggers at Sav).
Drew has a one time hook up with Alli. In the latest promo he says something like “get off my back”. I think he has sex with her and then ignores her. I hope there’s more depth to Alli this season, since she’s actually a stand-out character.
Riley and some other guy tie up Drew? Seems randomly homo-erotic. I donn’t know. Also, Riley was in grade 12 for S9, shouldn’t he have graduated?
Bianca steals KC away from Jenna. Seems pretty obvious judging from the promos. I’ve also heard Bianca may actually hook up with Jenna. Unless there’s serious 100% intensity, I don’t care. Jenna and KC are boring, and Bianca seems like another random throw-in character.

I’m a little late to the party, I agree with all the “awesomes” . Looks really exciting! I doubt Holly J will end up falling for Sav, I mean why after four years would she wait until now to start liking him? I just don’t buy it. I think both her and Anya are going to perform some master manipulation on him.
Looks like Riley will get Drew back! But seems he might go too far…
Where’s Declan? I’m not a huge fan of his but jeez, they did all that promoting him last season and he’s nowhere to be seen in this one! Maybe he’ll have a bigger part in the final 24 episodes.

here is what i think, imma just throw some ideas out there again:
Anya/Sav/ Holly J
In the promos it shows Holly J asking someone is they wanted revenge, and also Anya telling Sav that he had said this time it was going to be different, I think Holly J will seduce Sav and lead him on to think that she likes him and then dump him and make him feel played like he has done to Anya, and making him feel even worse by telling him that Anya is pregnant.
*btw I don’t get why during some teenNick promos they would show Holly J and Spencer making out in the copy room?..that always had me thinking.

Totally love them together, and I think its KC who is staring at them is actually getting jealous of Clare actually moving on from him, I figure he misses her as a friend and sees what he is actually missing out on and has lost. (I want to know what the cards Clare pulled out mean in the carnival promo) The whole fact that Bianca is in the promo doesn’t mean its with KC, since she is going to be known as the girl who makes boyfriends disappear not as the boyfriend stealer.

Referring to Adam being pushed through the glass door and if they found out he was actually biologically a she: I think we should think back to what happened to Jane. She joined the football team because she knew she had what it took. She was strong and tough, and a girl. The guys on the football team were really threatened by her, seeing that she could run as fast as they could and score points better than some.
There was one scene in the halls where a few of the guys pushed her down and started kicking her in the stomach, before Riley intervened. I thought that was pretty intense/ridiculous. Of course, being thrown through a GLASS door would probably hurt a lot more, it’s (sort of) a similar situation.
If we’re right about Adam being biologically female, some of the bullies could have found out or there was some “if you’re a guy, prove it” situation. Adam didn’t comply, and they proceed to attack him. That could be some sort of “well if you’re so tough/you’re such a dude, you should be able to take this” (even though NO ONE should go through something like that, ever.)
Those are just my thoughts. It’s possible that they attacked Adam even knowing that he’s biologically female, because 1) Degrassi tends to ‘go there’, 2) we’ve seen guys attacking girls to showcase some stupid dominance or masculinity on Degrassi before and 3) as someone said, some bullies DO go there. Especially when the person they’re attacking doesn’t fit a social norm, or something.
Again, just my thoughts. :)

Jimmy pulled the fire alarm in “If This Is It” so I don’t think that’ll be the case. Plus, you don’t get put in lockdown during a fire drill. It’s the complete opposite haha

Yeah if it’s a bomb threat or a fire drill they’re going to get people AWAY from the building, not keep them in. Lockdowns usually involve a dangerous (or perceived dangerous) person being the threat, whether they’re thought to be in or around the building.

@Chase Well on Jamie’s (peter) twitter, he said that he would be the only graduate that will be in season 10 this year…and he’s not going to be in that many episodes…so they’re strictly focusing on the high school kids this year.

I agree. When I was in 5th grade, we were in the middle school because our school was knocked down. We had two lock downs in those four years of middle school. One was when a 8th grader LOST it and was fighting and attacking teachers and security gaurds and the second one was when a kid had a sezuire in the hallway.

Ok so I know this happened like last summer lol, but do you guys remember the promos for season 9? The ones where just one character would be saying something? Well I was just thinking about those and how some of what was said in those never happened in season 9, so maybe Teennick could be tricking us with some of these new promos! The ones from season 9 that I’m talking about are 1. One of the ones with Holly J. where she was saying “this is the year I’ll get back at that b*tch” and also I remember the one where Nick Cannon walks in on Holly J. and Spinner making out in the copy room. Nick asked them if they were dating and they said no, we’re just “practicing”. Do you all remember that? I wonder if something between them might happen in the future. Another one is where Nick walks by and the actresses that play Holly J. and Allie are wrestling down on the floor and once again tell Nick that they are just practicing. I really wonder if the producers just decided not to go ahead with those plots or use them in the future? Who knows. Please comment back and let me know your thoughts and opinions on these! :D

Well, the difference between these promos and the ones for season nine is that the season nine ones w/characters looking at the camera and saying something about their supposed plotline that season were filmed soley as promos. Apart from the carnival promo, all of the ones for season ten are a montage of clips directly from the show. So it wouldn’t really make sense for these promos to not accurately reflect what will happen in season ten when they’re made of different clips from the actual episodes of season ten. They might be a bit misleading like a lot of the TeenNick episode previews, but I think it’s pretty unlikely for none of these story’s to happen.

for 1, i dont know wheather to like or hate drew since he is involved with the 3 most loved characters. it looks like he blackmails riley, and is gonna break alli’s heart, but is kind and loving to adam, so I dont know what to feel.
i think holly j. pretends to like sav, to get revenge for what he did to anya, but falls in love with him.
i think the declan goes onto the roof (looking for fiona) and someone pushes him off. he’s been in only 1 promo and looks like he has nothing to do with holly j, since she pretends (or secretly is) with sav.
claire and eli are gonna be a great couple.
k.c is a mess. i think he starts looking at claire.
adam looks like an AMAZING character. I’m gonna love adam!
on the teennick chatroom, a girl said ‘I think Bianca likes Adam, and they go out. When she touches his chest, she notices that he has breasts, which makes her boyfriend disapear’. Now, i dont know wheather to support this idea or not. What are your ideas?

im glad they finally gave us some info on adam, and some footage. But it was confusing. Im confsued about if adam is a girl wanting to be a boy or a boy wanting to be a girl. but im leaning toward the first one. and when he/she is in the bathroom it seems like he/she is hiding something then fitz’s friend opens the vet thing. maybe if he/she is a girl it would be that time of the month and u know what that means.. or something to revel his/ her sexuality.

Okay this thought just came to me and I want to know what people think , give me your ideas.
In the promos Fiona’s boyfriend was literally driving her crazy, physically and mentally. Then I heard her mother in one of the previews saying we’ll get him back and they screw him over or something and then Fiona and Declan move back to Canada and go to Degrassi, but her boyfriend follows them back and starts a shooting in the school or something .
Maybe I took it a little too far, but it sounds like something the writers would do .

In my school, someone wrote, “there is a bomb in the school” in a bathroom stall. We were rushed out IMMEDITALLY. I was in 5th grade, because my school was shut down for a grade.
5TH 6TH 7TH and 8TH grade was all RUSHED OUT onto buses and sent home.
They would NEVER EVER keep kids in school during a bomb threat.

@Kayla Very true…at my high school during our final exams, some kids got together and called the school’s main office and yelled “BOMB” and just hung up…and we all had to evacuate. typically “lockdowns” happen when there is a threat around the building, or someone that is a threat is in the building…i know because that happened at my high school also! some guy threatned to shoot himself in the student parking lot and they locked us all in the school.

But I’m still not too sure if Adam is a girl trying to be a boy or a boy longing to be a girl because when he looks in the mirror for the Shark in the Water promo it could be what je WANTS to see, or what’s haunting him. It really could work either way. But as for when they throw him into the door I feel like it’s a “you’re a guy? Prove it!” type thing so they beat him up. Then he gets thrown the door and gets seriously hurt which is how the bullies find out he is really a she. I also have a feeling they’re going to run away when they find out and Drew is going to find Adam lying there or something. Just a hunch.
As for the “Jenna doesn’t know her own secret” thing, I REALLYYYY think she has a mental disorder. I mean Craig didn’t know he was Bi-Polar and it turned out he was so yeah.

Okay, the secrets promo was just what I needed cause everyone already knew about the crushes part, but the thing i noticed was that Sav and Holly J are having a thing now. The last time we saw Holly J she was excited being with Declan, *cough* her bf, and now we see her with Sav. BIG QUESTION MARK for me! Something must’ve happened after Declan got beat up by Spinner in Degrassi Takes Manhattan. If anyone knows what happened between Declan and Holly J or even Sav, PLEASE tell me :)

OMGGG! These promos are pretty sweet. I’m even more excited for season 10!~~~Yeah I don’t think Declan’s gonna be pushed off the roof. Drew is NOT gay…obviously he’s gonna (………) with Alli. We all know he’s gonna blackmail Riley for being gay. I think Drew’s just chatting with Zane while they workout. I srsly hope Kenna is done. KC has become such a jerk since s8. I miss the old him. Well, not really. Oh and what is up with Alli? She’s soo mono when she talks…and so overdramatic, “…I knew we were meant to be…”. She’s needs to calm down when it comes to guys. She can’t just find a guy and sleep with them…? She’s only in grade 10…well since she has already done it, then she has nothing to lose. So here’s my summary. (HJ and Sav) – I don’t think it’s serious. Probably revenge for Anya. (Anya and Sav) – DONE. (KC and Jenna) – DONE. (Eli and Clare) – cute <3. (Alli and Drew) – Will not last that long. (Adam and Drew) – Good that Drew has Adam's back. (Fiona) – I feel bad for her. This abuse will probably send her back to Degrassi. (Riley and Zane) – Love them. Hopefully there's peace between Drew and Riley at the end, but for now, it's a good show.
I want to know more about Bianca and this whole thing with Alli. We'll probably have to wait till this weekend for any new promos, hopefully!

In the Secrets promo Adam is wearing the same clothes in all of the scenes so I’m thinking that this might be Adam’s episode, “My Body Is A Cage” assuming that this episode is about Adam. I think it would be great to see Eli, Clare and Adam become friends, they’d be an interesting trio, all being so different, I can’t wait to find out, just a few more weeks:)

I get that “The Heat Is On” is supposed to remind us of “The Boiling Point” but still, Degrassi Takes Manhattan is a subtle title….like Degrassi Goes Hollywood. And plus, it features characters like Jane, Spinner, Emma, Manny. They aren’t even in s10. I don’t know. I just hope they make the opening title look like it’s supposed to be there. I know. Watching the Every Episode Ever marathon makes me miss the old cast, but off to new things! I’m actually warming up the the “newbies” like Clare. Well, she’s been on since s6 soooo…I don’t know. I’m just waiting for them to dish out the juiciest drama. Hmm Fiona? Yeah she’s not really one of my favorites. I have to disagree with u about the whole glammed up thing (IMO) well my high school was kinda like degrassi with the kids…some were models, some were poor, and some were just in their own little box. thats what i dnt understand just because they bring up things like “modeling” and having “rich kids” on the show it loses touch with reality? I mean yeahh some of those things wouldn’t happen in reality to ur average person but I think its more belivable than gossip girl, 90210, and skins (in terms of drug-use) even tho i actually am i big skins fan. and this is random but i saw some where that said they wish that the kids could interact like they did in the older seasons…which to me is kinda unbelivable in the sense of….what senior do u know thats going to be best buddies with a freshman? like really the only reason why they really all interacted in the older seasons was because they were only 1 grade apart, and I personally like that there’s just about every grade so u can get every perspective of the high school experience, from the seniors to the scared freshman. (sorry just rambling again)

Wow I’m reminiscing s7 of Degrassi and I really miss it. This was the old casts’ peak. I loved it! Like the feeling of the season. I loved the whole thing with Ashley and Jimmy, again. The whole Paige, Marco, Ellie trio. Emma and Manny were actually seen on the show. Spin was out of control and had a storyline. Seasons like this make s8 and s9 look wimpy. I wonder if s10 can stand up to s7? We’ll find out July 20th!

Well J.kart, I do agree that it’s more realistic than 90210, Gossip Girl, etc. There are also people like that at my school. There are “rich kids” and people who model. I’m just saying recently the topics have been one/two-dimensional. Yeah they’ve had sexting and the consequences of that. Also, questioning one’s sexuality. Nothing serious as what we’ve seen before. Oh and at my school, there are plenty of seniors who are friends with freshman. I just think it varies among high schools. I have to confess. There have been some good storylines (Jane finding out about being abused as a child, Riley’s–as opposed to Marco–approach to his sexuality, Alli sexting and the consequences of that, Peter’s drug abuse, etc.) It’s just my opinion, I guess.

Noooo I actually agree with u with the NON-dimensional characters recently added like “leia, blue,bruce, etc” I’m not counting Chantay because she atleast got some storylines in s9! lol but yeah I agree…s8 was like introducing new characters so I never really expected much from that season, and season 9 actually layed pretty good groundwork as in writer’s quality (with the exception of Peter’s drug use.). so I agree the older seasons (especially season 3-4) had great drama, now this season can hopefully bring us the drama we missed.

He also mentioned that Fiona and Dave will have BIG storylines, Chantay and Connor will have average sized storylines (like 1 whole episode and a couple sub plots) and Leah will have a small storyline but her biggest yet. hey i was just watching a degrassi episode titled”the power of love” and it looks familiar to season 10 of degrassi where everyone in this episode were cleaning out their lockers and there were a bunch of trash cans. so i doubt that is the lockdown episode in season 10

In “Power of Love”, they were cleaning out their lockers because it was one of the last days of school, and since the clips are from the start of season 10, I doubt that’s what they’re doing. Also, there’s a major difference between the two scenes in that when we see the trash cans and all of that in the clip for season 10, students are running. I’m not saying it’s the lockdown episode because I don’t know, but I doubt they’re just cleaning out their lockers like in “Power of Love”.

I hope that it is drawn out more than Emma’s was. I’m not saying that they didn’t go into enough, because she had help and stuff from friends and family, so she got over it quickly……But anyways.
I know that his may sound kind of bad, but I’m hoping it’s a character that I really like, because I will want to keep watching, you know? And, for a eating disorder storyline, they would have most of the episode(s) about it, so I could see him/her in more of Degrassi eps. But yeah, I wonder who.

Well, they misspelled “buying” and “school” and used the name “Leah” instead of “Leia.” They also used the phrase “none harming” instead of “non-harming” whcih is an awkward phrase as it is so I’m iffy on those.

The first 8 are confirmed, but I find it funny that almost all of the other episode descriptions (1009-1018) have severe mispelling/grammar issues.

when it says Alli befriends Bianca…then Clare brings up Jenna, that means Alli and Bianca become friends, and Claire gets jealous, so she reminds Alli about how Claire and Jenna became friends, and then Jenna betrayed her.

Holiday, thank you for that! So we know that the first episode of s10 revolves around Holly J and Sav. From reading these descriptions, I’m pretty excited for the new season. Oh and Alli tries out for the Power Squad. Jenna probably just nudges Alli off when she tries out. So Alli makes a Dance Troupe to compete with the PS. This was probably what was seen at the end of the MuchMusic promo. I’m just so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could not “find” them on ctv because ctv is not even airing degrassi anymore and a primetime program. so why would the decsriptions be on their website?

Have you guys seen the most recent preview on Teenick? I haven’t been able to find a link for the video. But I will some how try to explain it. At first words like Lies, Secrets, Betrayal, Surprises, Crushes, Secrets, Shame, Rage, Pressure, Obsession, Fantasy, Drama, Passion, Gossip, Hurt, Tension, Delusion, and Backstab switch on the screen really fast as the cast say certain lines from the season. Someone, I think Adam’s brother yells out “What did you do to my sister?”. It also has Clare and Eli in it and she talks about the next new school scandal. And other stuff happens but it’s way too fast to explain all of it. I can’t find the video anywhere but on Teenick. I know it’s the newest Teenick.com Degrassi featured video.

holly j and sav are not together, that would be stupid. and that adam kid is definately a girl. because even the actor’s name is jordan, so you don’t know if it’s a boy or girl anyway. i don’t know if i really like this whole intensified drama night time soap opera feel of season ten yet. the first two hour episode was a little ridiculous. i mean, seriously, a sandwich maker blowing up the dot. i laughed, the movie was over the top fake.

well i found out clare duzn’t die cuz sumone posted that the episode jesus (episode 37 season 10) will be about clare and if clare duzn’t die then eli can’t die bcuz theyre meant to b and i really wish theyd go out already. a suicidal thing would b pretty awesome in my opinion but not with any of the new characters u kno. i can’t believe declan and holly j. broke up and holly j. moves onto sav that quickly. i think she just wants to regain her council status thing or sumthing but u never kno.
