Adam’s character reminded me a lot of a friend I have. She looks the same as her, and wishes to look like a guy. So I think Adam will be very interesting.
As for Eli, I like that he’s enthusiastic about being on Degrassi. But he is reminded me of Marc Donato/Derek and that IS NOT A GOOD THING.

I am sooo excited! that new kid playing Adam sounds like a girl teehee. i find it funny how they added those fake buildings in front of the school back in season 7 (i think)… so cory lee is playing Ms. Oh.. i hope she didnt replace Ms Kwan. she is the bomb. kid playing ‘Eli’ is a little bit annoying.. i wonder what grades these new kids are gonna be. I’m VERY interested in Adam. I’m guessing that this will be the first transgendered student the franchise has ever seen, as Adam is DEFINITELY not a girl’s name, and there is nothing even hinting at this character being female. Hopefully the writers will treat this character with great care and respect. That’d be huge for Jordan as a young actress, too!
Bianca’s also really pretty. But alas…looks just like Mia…I’m still waiting for my new goth/rocker/bad girl. Maybe next season…

Okay, I think they may be going a little overboard with new characters in Season 10 we now have Drew, Bianca, Eli, Adam, Ms. Oh, Zane and The Unknown Girl in The Power Squad Uniform. That’s 7 new characters! I’m just hoping they are interesting, and don’t turn into another character who gets no development.
And I’m surprised that the show may be getting it’s first transgendered character with Adam, I’m interested to see where they’ll go with that storyline.

i have a feeling all these new character will be in grade 10 in season 10…it makes sense to have a big sophmore class instead of having them graduating after only being on the show foor like a season or two by making them juniors or senios in season 10.

i think they’ll mostly be in grade 11 cause theres no one in that class right now. there are already 6 niners and thats about as many as there ever were in one class at a time. and i think the writers want to have some characters graduate every season (or, i mean, every end-of-degrassi-year)

Drew, Eli, Bianca, Adam. That’s because Zane appears in season 9, Ms. Oh isn’t a student, and the girl in a ps uniform is possibly just an extra.

Eli seems like he could be a goth, punk type character. Not sure though. That would be interesting since we’ve never really had a “Male Ellie”.
Bianca seems like she could be a bad girl too. Isn’t that her wearing the leather jacket? She’s gorgeous! She could also be the new Queen Bee. IDK about her.
Adam is interesting. Very interesting. Jordan Todosey has always done little kid roles so it will be interesting to she her play a potential lesbian/transgendered character.
Cory Lee’s character’s name is “Ms. Oh”. Seriously? She’s looking good too.
So if those are the 4 new characters then why is Drew slated as a lead role? And why is Zane being shown around so much and who is that other girl in the pic? If this is the case, then we have 7 new characters, 4 or 5 main roles (depending on Drew’s status) and 2 or 3 recurring characters.
Season 10 is interesting! Did anyone read the article where it said Degrassi will be doing storylines that the audience has never seen before? Can’t wait!

As a transgendered individual, myself, I am REALLY excited to finally see a transgendered character on degrassi!!
I have been wanting this forever!
I am just praying this is done right. If it is, a whole lot of people will have a new understanding of what transsexuality really is, and what it’s like to BE trans.
I just hope you all can watch with an open mind.
I can’t wait to see how this character is portrayed..

I hope Eli and Clare get together, I’ve been wanting Clare and K.C. really back together but since “In your Eyes” K.C. seems more different and not the one I used to like in Degrassi, and Eli seems the nice guy to pick up the pieces. As for Bianca I think I am going to hate her if she is like or worse than Jenna. Adam, I don’t know ths seems interesting but yet unpredictable, what if they don’t do the storyline right. I can’t wait for season 10 I hope it doesn’t dissapoint me I’m having my hopes up really high. ;)

PREDICTIONS:
Adam a gender confused girl who’s trying to find herself by still being normal and not judged. Anya will stab a friend in the back and betray them for the first time ever in Degrassi. Alli will continue to find the right guy for her, even if it means hurting others or having consequences along the way. She might hook up with the new bully Drew. A new attractive brunette named Bianca who is a boyfriend stealer is out to get someone’s boyfriend, maybe K.C., Declan, Danny, or Spinner. Chantay is still going to be herself but maybe getting noticed a little bit more, she still will be the writer of the Anti Grape Vine. Clare will be herself as always, maybe finally getting over K.C. and unto a new guy named Eli. The death tarot card means closing an old door and opening a new door. K.C. is the old door and Eli is the new door, Clare is worried because she doesn’t want to forget about her ex K.C. This could mean a love triangle maybe? New school bully named Drew will make a lot of the student’s lives harder; he will steal and try to take the attention from everyone. Fiona’s will end up having some problems later, by being abused in a relationship. Leading to more drama and personal problems. Holly J. will become Degrassi’s new Paige or Manny if she hasn’t already. Jenna has a secret her and K.C. have no idea of, whether it be a sexual disease, a baby, or she’s confused. But K.C. might leave Jenna because of him finding out because of lies. Leia will probably be a loner and will never have enough confidence to stand out, she will leave the show eventually. Riley’s will be challenged with new problems with being openly gay; it will test his manly image. Sav is going to end up doing something to get himself into trouble or conflict while screwing it up like other times he has. Mr. Simpson will get replaced by Mrs. Oh and he will become the new principle. Wesley from the episode “Innocent When You Dream” might become a recurring character and making Connor and Dave’s reputation even worse. Zane hopefully will become a recurring character and add more drama to the school.

i think KC has something to do with the death card, he doesn’t have a very good history with guns, drugs, alchohal, etc. But it scares me that Eli has something to do with death, especially since he’s always dressing in black, i hope he doesn’t do anything bad though… he’s so HAWT!!

Frankly, I have become obsessed with the new character Adam. I think it is implied in one of the promos when someone says “What did they do to you?” and in the circus promo where it implies that Adam is more comfortable in boy’s clothes, I think that someone, maybe his/her parents, forced them to become a girl through surgery, but Adam wants to be a boy so he/she dresses as a boy. He/she isn’t comfortable in girls clothes or looking like a girl. But their face and voice is girly, because the character is played by a girl. This is where i get the surgery. Does this make sense to anyone? does anyone agree? Like if you agree, dislike is you disagree.

In the canarval she see’s herself as a girl cause that’s what she’s on the inside, but she runs from it.

Eli is Hot. I hope he is a long term character. Adam is so cool. I love watching him. I want to figure him out. They were talking about some girl that Eli knew that died and he is keeping a lot of stuff because she’s gone. Who is she? Is she his sister? If so is she older or younger than him?
