Degrassi returns tonight with a new episode at 9pm ET on TeenNick!
Start Me Up is the episode where Peter decides to start a club in the empty building space above The Dot. Things are going well for Peter until Victoria returns. Yeah…the girl from the Season 9 premiere that introduced him to meth. He’s been clean ever since, but will he slip back into his old ways?
This episode originally aired on CTV back in late ’09….I thought te main plot and subplot were good, making it a really solid episode. CLICK HERE to see my review of the episode (it contains spoilers).

I think Innocent When You Dream sounds like a really solid episode. Aside from the Holly J. bit it seems completely realistic and touches a very legitimate issue.

I’m not gonna lie, the promo doesn’t really draw me in, but like you said it does seems like a realistic, relatable issue. So I’m hoping it’ll be good from that angle.

That’s the thing-it’s an acceptionally bad promo by Teennick’s standards, but I don’t think that means it will be a bad episode. Half the time when the promos do look good they are basically lying. i.e. K.C. with the gun or Holly J. hooking up with Spinner, so I don’t put much emphasis.
That reminds me, I think Teennick hyped Declan WAAY to much. I like him, but he isn’t nearly as intense or awesome as they depicted him. (Especially because since ‘Love Games’ he has completely thrown aside the arrogance and condescension

I think it’s a nice Promo since it doesn’t seem to overhype anything. The only thing that I think is probably misleading is Holly J saying,”I will destroy you, clear?” cause they are probably just practicing the lines for the musical.

thats it! i thought it was probably something completely unrealted to declan, but i couldnt come up with what they would be talking about. i keep forgetting that any given clip (especially with those characters) could come from the play.

i dont know why clare is there. I’m glad she has a Main Main plot(i say she was just a support for main role for HLM)I say it was mainly KC but i’m excited that Clare gets a main plot.

KC, Connor, Clare, Alli, Jenna, Sav, Riley, Declan, Holly J., Anya, Leia, Chantay, Fiona, Peter, Danny,Spinner, Jay, Snake, and Jane all appear to be returning, with Mia, Kelly, Paige, and Dylan returning as well. Cory Lee has been confirmed as new cast member#1, the new Media Immersion teacher, with @ShandosMandos cast as new cast member#2, Riley’s boyfriend Zane, and some girl named Hayley possibly being new cast member#3.

And I really don’t see how Paige, Dylan or Kelly could return. Unless Marco, Ellie or Emma return in Season 10, but as much as I’d love for Paige to return in S10, I don’t see how they could do it unless Marco and/or Ellie appeared.

And, um, hello! Kelly’s friends with Spinner, and Paige and Dylan are brother and sister. They don’t need girlfriend, boyfriend and frenemie in order to have a storyline. Emma never wants to see Kelly again,so she obviously did not keep in touch. Marco is done with both Paige and Dylan, and Ellie never wanted anything to do with them, so I really don’t know where they would fit into things. And it’s just a hunch, as Holly J. And Sav kickstart the very first scene of Season 10, which means that they would have a freezescreen in an episode that’s ironically called What A Girl Wants.

Just because they have a scene together doesn’t mean Holly J will go after him. And I’m sure Paige would try to mend her friendship with Marco if she went back to Toronto, and Dylan returning would just be too random, what would he do if Marco wasn’t there? Talk to Paige for a scene?

Judy Jiao confirmed on twitter that she’ll only be in the 1st half of season 10. I’m kind of sad because I was hoping they would really utilize her character more this season. Oh well she’ll be in about 24 episodes so I guess that should be considered an entire season. I think a great sendoff for her would be being accepted to a famous dance school (I know she left her last dance school, but since she dances every morning she obviously misses it).

AJ Saudin (Conner) tweeted “Is wearing red today…just found out I’m going to a funeral… Red really wasn’t a great choice :s”.
He doesn’t really sound upset and wearing red to a funeral sounds like something Conner would do, so I guess we can assume someone dies in Season 10.

EEEK SANYA SUBPLOT! i just got exponentially more excited for this episode! in one of the pictures, where sav is walking away from anya, she’s looking at him with a “wow, you jerk” type of expression. if only she were telling him that she’s pregnant (and then he reacted badly) . . . but thats most likely not gonna happen.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I doubt Anya and Sav will get back together in the subplot cause it wouldn’t make sense to have them back together and then show the Forgetting Sav mini in which they are broken up.

I never really expected Anya to be pregnant, but her face looks kind of fat in the last picture…?
Also, I may have to bang my head against a wall if the plot follows this progression:
Sanya hang out.get closer
Anya says something like “I’m ready to forgive you”
Sav is like “I have nothing to feel bad about, you’re the lying sleazebag”
Anya is hurt
She realizes that she must move on
