TeenNick Chairman Nick Cannon has served up a new promo where he debuts the first ever footage of Degrassi Takes Manhattan!!!
The bad news is it’s nothing more than them flashing 20+ clips of the movie in literally about three seconds, making watching the actual promo pretty pointless.

that pic of jane walking angrily and the one of sav and danny at some sort of party above it look like they could be from the same scene. the setting looks similar, like sava and danny and the lake behind them are in one direction, and jane and the car and the forest behind her are opposite. which leads me to believe that there is someone (spinner or declan, i bet) at that party who she needs to confront.

why cant i say person? it is not immediately obvious from the fact that jane is walking angrily that she is looking for a GIRL. however, i find it fairly reasonable to assume that she is looking for a PERSON. i hypothesize that the PERSON she is looking for happens to be MANNY, who happens to be a GIRL, altho that piece of information is not relevant.

Now the only question left is WHERE THE HELL IS LIBERTY!!!???!!!??? She hasn’t been in any Season 9 Promos or this, but the Exec Producer said she makes an appearance!!! As for Emma’s storyline, I would like to see her wake up drunk/high and married with the wedding dress on. She doesn’t know who she married so she spends most of the movie trying to find out who she married and it ends up being the person she(and all of us) would least expect.

A wedding does make sense if you think about it. I mean, The actual titles for the episodes are “The Rest of My Life 1-4”. Now, It’s either Manny or Emma getting married. I bet they want you to think it’s Emma, but what if it’s Manny getting married to Jay? It could go in either direction.
Definitely want to see Spinner beat the crap out of Declan. It’s nice to know that the writer’s are going to tie up some loose ends with the movie.

Even if Liberty is in the movie, I doubt that we’ll see her in any promos. Teen Nick/The-n never liked to acknowledge her existence.
I have a feeling that they originally weren’t planning on using Liberty at all this season. They took her page down from degrassi.tv (along with Paige, Ellie, Jimmy, Toby, and Craig), but kept Mia, Marco, Kelly, Jay, and even Derek. I have a sinking feeling that Liberty will only making a brief appearance with only a couple of lines. :(

Okay, this dude here is the secret steps:
1) From the TeenNick Homepage click on Videos
2) From the Videos Page click on one of the Featured Videos
3) Look at the Webpage. It will have a number at the end. For example, the Holiday Road Promo Webpage ends in 24540 (As shown above).
4) Change the Webpage number upwards one at a time and press enter (after the Holiday Road Promo I changed the Webpage from 24540 to 24541 which happened to be Heart Like Mine Pt2).
5) If you go through 10-20 Webpages without any videos showing up then TeenNick mostly like haven’t uploaded any videos that far up yet.

If I’m correct I think he is referring to a comment someone mentioned about two weeks ago(and it wasn’t April Fools Day). So, Clare gets into a catfight with Alli, Manny and Jay get married, Holly J. And Fiona get the opportunity as internships, to lose her good-girl image, clare goes after declan, who seems to like her, only to use her in the end. KC dumps Jenna, and the way they’re making it seem, he goes with Alli, which would cause the catfight, or he’s gay? And riley FINALLY gets a BOYFRIEND!!! I’m rooting for Sam, ’cause i don’t care if i am straight. They look hot together. And it’s been said that the background characters will be stirrin’ up some trouble come late july. And did Stefan actually acknowledge that they’re background characters? Lol.

And anyway, Danny and Connor have both had A plots, and once you get an A plot, you’re no longer a background character. As for this season? Yes. None of them deserve to be in the opening credits. Hmmm… Maybe Jane reveals that she’s bi, and that she’s tired of being with Spinner. Her and Holly J. Scheme to end the relationship, and Spin catches her and Holly J. Kissing each other? Then Jane fines out that Manny told Spin about Declan and crashes the wedding to go after her, with Spinner standing by. Spinner calls Declan and tells him to meet him in town. They get out of their cars, walk into the middle of the road, and when Declan’s about to hug him, Spinner calls him a jackass and punches him in the face? Just a thought. And BTW? That’s a guy that Spinner’s covering in the post-explosion scene. Lol. And since it’s an explosion, maybe someone dies???

i have a theory! i think that when Spin punches Declan, its at the same time as Jane pushes/slaps Manny. because the little bit that we can see out of the tent thingy that Manny and Jane are in looks a lot like the setting where Spinner is punching Declan. so, my theory is that Manny tells Spinner about Jane+Declan, so Spin goes to get revenge on Declan at the same time that Jane is getting revenge on Manny for telling. either that, or Manny and Declan hook up or something and break Dolly J. up, and Spin and Jane are getting revenge for Holly J.

Yeah it wouldn’t make sense to show the Clare/Declan stuff in the Promo and then make us wait, but they have done that before. Cause in one of the Promos for the second “mini season” of Season 8 they showed Clare walking down the hall all dressed up, from Jane Says, but they didn’t air Jane Says until the third “mini season” of Season 8.

Unfortunately it hasn’t come out yet, which is strange since the Holiday Road Promo came out last Wednesday. They have just been releasing Earth Day ads- since there is no holiday/special day next week hopefully they upload the Innocent When You Dream Promo early, hopefully by next Wednesday. I post the Promo as soon as it comes out though!

That’s because them posting stuff like promos, sneak peeks, etc. that early isn’t the norm. Usually they post that stuff, at the EARLIEST, on Thursday afternoons. And late afternoon/early Friday evening is when they normally post the actual episode.

A lot of conclusions can come out of this. I don’t even know where to start.
Emma looks like she went back to smoking crack and got a quickie marriage.
Someone tries to blow up The Dot or Degrassi or somewhere.
Jane looks like she was running or driving away from someone.
IMO Manny was probably pushed because she was defending Spinner after he finds out Jane was cheating. Remember I’m just drawing conclusions here. I’m not claiming any of this as fact.

My thoughts on the screencaps:
Manny tells Spinner about Jane cheating with Declan, which causes Spinner to punch Declan at whatever party they are at (graduation? A wedding like some are questioning?) Jane finds out, I’m unsure how she got that car, and pushed Manny and she falls through the curtains or covering… whatever that is, ooh! Maybe it’s her party for some movie she’s in? Did they finish Musical High? That would explain why Sav and Danny are there. Then again those flags make it look like a birthday party (I’m thinking as I’m going, haha.)
With regards to Fiona, Declan and Holly J, looking at where they are maybe they were college touring somewhere? Or just going on a fancy vacation seeing that Declan and Fiona can afford it.
Some sort of explanation for the explosion is passing me…
So yeah, obviously that “trailer” was completely ambiguious , which was the point but that’s what I’m taking from what I see.
