If you have seen Heart Like Mine Part 2, we allll predicted months ago that they’d use the gun clip in one of their promos to make the episode seem more dramatic than it really is. Well….check it out below (thanks to ACESONLINE for uploading it for us all):
Personally, I don’t like the promo that much. Yeah, yeah TeenNick’s promos are overdramatic, but they do a good job of drawing you in; this one really doesn’t. It’s really the clip they use where they show the hooker that derails it for me…replace that with more clips of the Coach being creepy and it would’ve been fine.
I don’t remember if I’ve ever posted it here on this site or not, but I created a Heart Like Mine Promo way back in January out of sheer boredom:

I can’t wait to see what the Promos for Holiday Road and Start Me Up look like. I bet they are going to make Emma’s secret seem extremely bad, like she is pregnant or something, and make Peter seem like he is on Meth again.

Yeah, I think they are going to continue after Start Me Up. Cause it wouldn’t make sense to show two Promos, both involving Clare/Declan, and then take a hiatus without showing that episode.

Yeah, I agree with DegrassiLover. It wouldn’t make sense to show promos for episodes that we’ll have to wait another few months to see. Plus, because Teennick is doing this telenovela format now with Season 10, they’ll have to finish up Season 9 (including the movie).

I’m surprised TEENnick put the hooker in there. I think you know why. And you never know, kary. **************************************SPOILER*****************************************************Nothing happened the night they stayed at his hotel, they just got drunk together. Then in Part 2 Coach reveals to KC that he carries a gun around. And to get KC loosened up a day or so before the big game Coach and KC go back to Coach’s hotel for more beers. That’s when Coach tries to pressure KC into sleeping with a hooker (KC doesn’t sleep with her, but it’s a creeper move indeed).

Do you mean whether or not she and Sav will eventually get together? I have no idea. She and her family randomly just left so I’m not sure how they’d get her back. And even if she did come back, I just couldn’t see Sav marrying her. Plus I think she was used more of a device to cause drama between Sav and Anya.

Exactly! A plot device. That’s exactly what she was. I know he doesn’t get raped, but does the coach kiss KC??? ‘Cause he was awfully close AND had his arm wrapped around KC’s neck when KC said please don’t. But what’s odd is that KC says “i trusted you” and then it’s like “everyone’s gonna know?” now why are they making it seem like he tells them he trusted Coach Carson, and why would that part alone matter???

I like your promo ALOT better because you show the real important stuff in the episode. No one cares about the hooker and thats the main thing they talked about, besides the gun.
