All has been quiet in Degrassi land lately, but with “Degrassi Love Games” airing on Teennick this Friday, you can expect some more new “Degrassi: On The Set” eps on the way too! Coming soon, you’ll find out what has Declan and KC going head to head. I found it hilarious…and I could’ve sworn that Sam Earle made obscure reference to some fans on twitter.
Anya and Sav will have major issues in "Why Can't This Be Love." Our biggest issue now is waiting around for the episode to actually air somewhere.
Another OTS coming soon is a behind-the-scenes look at the prom in “Why Can’t This Be Love.” Well that’s great and all, but it doesn’t offer up any new info. It serves as nothing more than a tease for those of us who’ve been waiting to hear something, ANYTHING substantial about the episode for months.

And frankly, dont even get me started on braces. I just got mine, and ive come to realize that TWO people. THAT’s right. Two! wait . Did kendra… Okay, three. I know what you mean about watching it on Teen Nick. If I have to watch anymore commercials for bump-its, proactive, or Love Games, I’m gonna freak out. And yes, thank you Mandy Moore, I now have adult acne. Don’t get me wrong, I am so excited for a new Degrassi. All I hear from everyone is “ALL YOU DO IS WATCH DEGRASSI” so now I can say I’m watching a new one. I just can’t get enough of it. I wish I was Canadian at this point.

Kay, so… Check out this message that stephen stohn sent me on myspace: “Declan and Fiona and Holly J and Jane are n New York for the summer, but something major at Degrassi brings them racing back!” sounds like yet another roadtrip to me. And in all actually, its fun watching it, but no matter WHAT happened, WHO in their right mind would wanna go back to Degrassi after the school year let out???

I’ve been trying to work out what plots are being referenced in the promo they used after Love Games. The Claire-Ali-KC stuff seems to be about Heart Like Mine, Peter’s line is from Start me Up, and the Sav/Anya stuff is probably Why Can’t this be Love.
But that leaves the Holly J, Spinner, and Fiona lines which are currently unattached to episode plots. It has me curious.

How teennick airs new episodes fridays at 8pm, but then the clock strikes 6 and it’s like it never aired. and is the line “it’s like high school drama 24/7 even IN an episode?and the way they did that, im pretty sure theyre gonna air all the upcoming episodes in one big block. I still think the holly j. Line is in reference to spinner. I mean, she broke declan’s heart about 5 times before dating him, and another once they were together. And plus, if declan went secretly went back to jane, holly j. Finds out, dumps declan but stays friends with jane, tells spinner, spinner dumps jane, spolly j. is formed, and the episode ends with holly j. Telling spinner that “i would never break your heart,” itd make perfect sense!!!

Hopefully well get a new preview of the new degrassi every friday from now until then. Maybe we’ll get a preview of the new movie either during the drake and josh manathon, or attached to heart like mine, part two. ( since theyll probably take another 2 week break after that.) but we won’t get the official preview until teennick’s movie madness marathon in may. Or whatever it’s called.

You know what would be awesome? If they’d start making 11-minute degrassi minis. You know, ones that are half the length of regular episodes, so they could actually flesh out all those plotholes gone wrong. And if they wanna do 2-3 minute so-called webisodes, they should at least call them shorts. And they should start airing supersized multi-hour specials from time to time, dontch think?

No. Theyre movies. Multi-hour means ANY hour past 1. And those movies are actually 22×4, which equals 1 and a half hours. But it’s 90 cause for some dumb reason, they include credits these days. Which are completely boring to begin with. Id much rather stare at a boombox for 2- 20 minutes. And also… They BETTER not be resorting to still-image promos permanently because THAT would be SAD. But for that matter, ole’ cannon might give it a go! But that whole talking to the camera method, i think they should keep, but with important moment’s in said character’s upcoming season playing in the background, so that we actually KNOW what’s going on.

This is a blog about an extremely dramatic high school show. Rockerboy can say whatever he wants. A blog is just that-everyone’s thoughts an whimsies. I enjoy everyone’s posts. I’m a 33 year old monther of a 4 year old. I love Degrassi. It is my guilty pleasure. It is a great show, and I enjoy hearing everyone’s input. Love games was a little disappointing, but whatever. Ive got news! 915/916 will be directed by the same director, so you can expect the same feel. The director is Samir Rehem. Besides Anya, the only character on the cast list is a girl named Farrah Hassar, and based on the name im assuming this is savs arranged wife. Shell be played by Sarena Parmer. According to rumors, sav gets bone cancer and anya gets pregnant with his baby. And sav is now on the season 10 cast list, so…

Well I hope they decide to have an eleventh season!!! :) Since each season represents only one semester I would like them to air two seasons each school year; about twenty episodes for each season so they don’t have to split the episodes up as much.

I would LOVE it if they had a Degrassi Movie play in the movie theaters. Cause then people that watch Degrassi could drag their friends to see it. And once their friends watch the movie they will want to watch the TV Show so rating will go up and the show will become more popular.

Well, no… But what i DO know is, they’re saying that in canada, the week after the winter olympics, whenever those things end. And teennick? I’d say… Another 2 months at least(give or take). I mean, we all know that whenever they dont air a preview for a new episode and say coming soon, and just leave it at that, it’s usually around 2-3 months until they come back. That’s REALLY stupid if this happens again(what with 2, technically 1 episode being aired and all. But looking at teennick’s history? Don’t expect a new Degrassi ANYWHERE until April at least.
