Degrassi Season 10 Starts Shooting March 26

The Exec posted the news on his twitter just a few minutes ago…they start shooting Season 10 beginning Friday, March 26. As you know, Season 10 is going to be a BEAST since they’re filming 48 episodes.
Since the number of episodes in Season 10 will be equivalent to two seasons worth of episodes combined, I wonder if they’ll be filming continuously until it’s finished, or take a several month break at the midway point.
Another thing…since they’re going to have 48 episodes, will a movie (or two) be included in that as well? Let’s hope the details start rolling in beginning next week (as well as info about when Degrassi will return to CTV).

Woah…i’m excited to see whats in store for this season…but i wonder who the new characters are this year since its the start of the 2008-2009 school year in “Degrassi Land”.

They def. Messed up big time. In Degrassi Goes Hollywood, Paige makes a reference to “Shenae Grimes in 90210.” This is wrong, because the show didn’t air until the following fall. In Season 9, Jenna owns a High School Musical 3 poster. Season 9 takes place from January-Summer 2008. This makes no sense, because that didn’t come until October. Darcy was said to be gone for a “semester”. She never came back.

Well, I don’t get this. I thought it was supposed to be news. Not a Q&A session. What if none of us get it right? And I don’t know if you noticed this, but Mia’s photographer in Just Can’t Get Enough is the same one that called Paige claimed Paige was just another “Hollywood diva” in Degrassi Goes Hollywood, and the woman that plays Sav’s mom in the promo is a different one than the one in Causing A Commotion and Heart Of Glass. Well I gotta go. It’s 9:14 and new Pokemon comes on at 7:30. I woke up on time for it today, but I stayed up until 4, my phone woke me up at 7, I started watching it, took the prescribed penicillen for my strep throat and fell asleep! So anyway, I gotta go.

They Supposedly have a meeting with EVERYONE involved with Degrassi on Tuesday, so yeah. It’s DEFINITELY gonna go there again. ^ yeah, I agree. Even if they’re two parters I rather they be aired one new episode a week. Is it just me or had Jane Says and Beat it aired both parts in two weeks?

I think that they will continue showing new episodes every week starting with Broken Promises cause there is no reason for them to take a break. Without taking a break the episodes will go until May 14 or May 21(if they decide to show Heart Like Mine over two weeks). Then they could take a break for a month and show Degrassi Takes Manhattan at the end of June. Then take another break and start Season 10 anytime between the end of July and the end of August(kind of depends on how many episodes take place over the summer).
oh my god! i just had to say this: i was just flipping channels and that new show Big Time Rush was on. and some girls comes up to them, slaps one of the guys, and says “How could you?! With my mom in the hospital and my huge fight with my best friend and MY ZIT?!” and the guys go, “Degrassi audition?” and the girl nods. I started cracking up so hard! especially since its so inaccurate ’cause Americans can’t even audition.

I can’t tell because I’m on a phone with a small screen. And I watched it six times because I love Degrassi. And I was waiting for my dumb stepdad to leave the living room so I could go into the kitchen, get me some food, and sneak it into my room. And I thought we were cool. Now. Are the Oscars the same thing as the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, because I love movies, and I really wanna watch it. And whoa. 82nd??? They actually gave these things out when silent films were around?

I just started watching the Oscars. I watched StarStruck on the Disney Channel first because I hadn’t seen it yet. This is, like, I’m so bored I think I’m gonna throw up. So unreal.
They did mention that she might be guest starring next season. And I already answered the question. I meant to say Clare. In Just Can’t Get Enough, when they’re painting nails and the camera is focused on Jenna, you can distinctly see an HSM3 poster in the background, and they hadn’t even begun filming at the time that episode was set. On another note, anybody watch Sabrina The Teenage Witch? That is a really funny and amazing show IMO. I repeat. IMO.
LOVED the horror movie tribute. And jeez! ANOTHER Disney died??? Well, I’ll add that to the list of people that I’ll never get to meet when I finally work there in 12 years. (4 years of high school, 4 years of bachelor’s degree college, 4 years of master’s degree college, presto.) and I didn’t watch any of the actual olympics whatsoever. Although, I did get to see a pretty decent amount of the closing ceremonies, and that was rather entertaining. Now, does CTV always air the olympics when they come on every four years, or was this just because it was hosted in Vancouver.

No new Degrassi on CTV for the 14th or 21st. So their last chance in March is the 28th. Maybe CTV and TeenNick have an agreement that TeenNick will air Broken Promises before CTV, that way TeenNick can get more viewers.

LOL seriously, season 7 was good in terms of realism, and season 8 would’ve been too if her horribly unrealistic modeling storyline came on. It also ruined Mia in my eyes, because i did like her in season 7.
I 110% agree with you. I love mia season 6 and 7, but when they made her a model and put her with Peter, i lost respect for her and she become somebody who couldnt stand.
i feel the exact same way about her! the writers, like, reinvented her character for each season. it made sense in 6 and 7, but season 8 she suddenly was a model instead of being a teen mom.
