Tristan and Zoe’s “impressions” of Miles and Zig had me rolling on the floor laughing . . . cause if Maya seriously thinks Zig’s not still in love with her – she’s in denial. It’s written all over his face – even when he told her he hated her, it was obvious it wasn’t true. *sighs* I don’t know which set of relationship drama is going to be more interesting in this episode – Imogen/Becky/Jack or Maya/Miles/Zig. My guess is that Becky will step out of the way to let Imogen and Jack be together . . . and that Maya will end up very, very alone – cause Zig’s gonna spill the beans about Cam (my instinct is that Miles still has no idea that Cam even existed or what happened). However – I’m still hopeful for Maya and Zig – they really do belong together, and have all along.

Why do you think Miles would leave Maya because of her not tell him about Cam’s suicide? Miles is not that heartless.. Its a very touch subject. Also I bet Zig got kick out of his house because he did something illegal like gang related stuff or drug pushing or theft.

It will be an absolutely incredible move on the writers’ part if we get a Cam mention, though I really doubt it.

I don’t think Miles is heartless…but he does have serious trust issues. And considering Maya is the one person he trusts completely…if she hasn’t told him about Cam…it’s not going to be pretty when she does, especially when she and Miles are already having issues over Zig. That’s all I’m saying…

I own the DVD box set for Season 9, it’s listed as “Close To Me.”

I heard their looking into this; must have been an oversight, hope the episode name is changed on time. It would really suck to have two episodes named “Close To Me” so considering how old the season 9 episode is, I can’t see people getting confused in the near future; maybe in the long run though.

I think they should rename this episode: “Next To Me.” It’s a similar title and a really popular song that Degrassi hasn’t used as an episode title.

I think zig got totally messed up after cam and really did some bad stuf like stealing and dealing drugs so his parents kicked him out.
i think he will tell that to maya and she’ll be even more sorry for him so miles will get more jealous and eventually tell maya to choose : zig or him.
Maya will be angry for that, they’ll break up but get togheter again after a few episodes like most couples in degrassi do.
