This is one of those “in case you missed it…” posts that includes some of the various Degrassi stuff that’s come out since “Honey” aired.
Here is Linda Schuyler’s statement in regards to Degrassi’s decision to kill off Adam’s character:

GLAAD Responds to Adam’s Death
One thing I’ve been thinking about is how the LGBT community would respond to the death of such a groundbreaking character. You can read their response here: http://www.glaad.org/blog/sad-turn-adam-degrassi-last-nights-episode-spoiler

The Principal’s Office: 1307
Stefan addresses some of the things that happened in Honey. I was thrown off by Leo’s very abrupt, abusive behavior, but Stefan’s comment clarified it for me. It makes me think even more that Leo could randomly show up in Toronto, and if that’s the case it surely won’t be pretty.

I firmly believe Leo is going to show up in Toronto, especially after hearing Stefan said about it. As boring as most of Leo/Alli has been, I think they wouldn’t have bothered with that story if they weren’t going to bring it SOMEWHERE further than just him grabbing Alli’s arm. When Leo announced he was moving to Toronto, I wasn’t surprised. Him grabbing Alli’s arm shocked me, and that is what made the boring-ness of Leo/Alli make sense to me. To see them “fall in love” and see how nice of a guy Leo is only for this darkness to come out is just as real as it is in real life.
Suddenly, I want to see more when I cared least of all about Alli and her newest boyfriend.

To me, Adam’s plot felt rushed and I don’t feel it was executed very well. As far as Leo is concerned, the character was a total dreamboat and boom, he’s abusive? To me, it seemed like an excuse just for the plot to end. I think this episode was very poor. The next episode looks a little better, but it appears Adam gets a better send off than Cam did…
