so those this mean fall block will have one episode per week on friday? or an hour block on friday? im just so happy that we dont have to wait till the new year and 6 months for the new episodes because last year’s halloween special was nice to see but left me in withdrawal.

Maya & Zig were in a closet or a prop room (most likely at school) & I think Marisol walked in on them because her arm is too dark to be anyone else’s. & Dallas was teaching her how to drive (like Dawson’s Creek or JT & Liberty). & thatz,all I gotta say for now.

So all the eclare fans out there were/are super excited that the episode was centered around clare, then Eli, then clare and eli. But are the other people who aren’t fans upset about that? do you guys feel like it was way too much and you wish clare had died or something?

Way too much focus on Eclare. Last season ended on them and this summer block did the same. I’m sorry, but they are not the end all, be all of Degrassi. You know what would have been better? If Tristan and the stagehand guy shared a kiss as the final scene. The scenes over the last 2 days seemed to have been leading up to that, so why not give us that climactic moment? They spent a lot of time focusing on Tristan this block, which has been a welcomed surprise, so I would have preferred him to have the final scene before the 2 month break.
I’m as tired of Clare and Eli as a couple, as I am about Drew chomping up unnecessary airtime this block.

Tristan’s first kiss was a big deal to him and he really still hasn’t had it yet.
The writers are probably going to develop that character’s relationship with Tristan more before they kiss.

As much as I agree with you on most things….who knows where that dude that Tristan is into goes from here. He could become what Tim what was to Marco.
I don’t understand the Drew hate. I feel like he’s the new Spinner. He’s only one/one-billionth as good as Spinner but a stupid character that charms is never a bad thing in the Degrassi Universe.

The Drew problem is mainly his excessive airtime. If he was amusing (like Spinner), I’d be more accepting of him. Someone like Dallas, who has been in pretty much every episode this season, was actually more appealing than Drew, even though he’s bugged me in 98% of all his appearances. I guess it comes down to the character first, then the story. If the character has a charismatic personality (whether I like them or not), I’m usually able to find enjoyment in their scenes. In the past, that was HollyJ’s first few seasons, before I eventually became a fan. As for Drew, I still fail to see why he’d have 2 girls fighting over his ass. That’s the biggest question of the season.

And sadly, they have set it up to where Drew will probably stick around for another season (something they need to quit doing) so he will be there leading male.
I am also sick of him. To me the whole Vince plot was good but everything else is a loss of scope.

Too much Eclare in the last block. Sorry there are so many fans who shipped Eclare before and now they are tired of them. I never shipped them at all. I think Eli and Clare need part ways to focus more on themselves or date other people. This Fandom is falling apart. Some of the Ecalre shippers calling non Eclare shipper non Degrrassian, Who does that? ……….. I actually wanted to see more developement on Imogen and Becky.

I am beyond pissed off like come on maya and zig’s kiss is just going to probably going to ruin maya and tori’s friendship and maya and cam’s relationship & tori n zig’s realtionship…. But on bright side we get to see Eli shirtless and i would have never thought tht Becky and Adam would be tht close to each other and WTF!!!!!! Alli and Dallas… damn i am shocked by it all I can not wait for October 12 i will be crazy by then!!!!

I’m like forward to seeing exactly how Mrs. Edwards/Martin handles Eli being shirtless.
First of all, just because he was topless doesn’t mean stuff was happening. He could have been changing or something. Degrassi promos have been misleading before.
Regardless, Helen has a few options:
Option 1: She can flip a shit. Religion has been a major part of the Edwards girls’ lives and I doubt the family is going to randomly drop their faith. Or she could just say Clare having her boyfriend half dressed in her room is just inappropriate and leave religion out.
Option 2: She can make Eli leave and have “the talk” with Clare. Awkward. She could also freakout during this, or she can be chill.
Option 3: She can be cool with it. After she got divorced, Helen stayed out late while she was dating and told Clare that she was an adult. Eli wasn’t like fully naked or even close which means they may not have had sex or anything close. Plus, Jake walked around shirtless when his character was first introduced and I seriously doubt Helen thought he was fully clothed at all times while working.
So much mother/daughter drama potential here. I just can’t wait.

Hurray we’ll get a Pageant episode which means…..Tori episode :D Finally! Plus Alli and Dallas? I’m intrigued! Adam and Becky sounds good to me. Shirtless Eli? Who knows where this will be going. I’m scared about it going back to one episode a week but I’ll manage to survive. Now I still need to accept that Degrassi chose to have an happy ending…that’s probably the biggest twist ever.

Didn’t Luke (Becky’s brother) destroy the garden? Maybe some other members of the hockey team took part as well… But it seems like it was him since he stared and smiled at Katie, taking a bite of a tomato while getting on the bus. I’m pretty sure Dallas had no part in it because he doesn’t mess around as much as his other teammates. He probably mentioned the Katie thing to them and they took the issue into their own hands.
As for EClare, I’m really hoping that shirtless Eli in the teaser was NOT just a lame tease and that we finally get to see Eli and Clare move toward something physical. Clare and Jake almost had sex, but it’s barely been mentioned with Eli (the only thing I can recall was in their first relationship when Clare was going crazy over her parents’ divorce and wanted to stay the night at Eli’s; and of course the naked photos thing at the end of this season). Was there anything else? I think it’s time for them to at least talk about it!

I really want Beckdam to happen, but I’m worried somethings gonna stop it. I think that there wont be anything sexual between Eli and Clare when he takes his shirt of, because they were on opposite sides of the bed and neither of them looked particularly in that kind of mood. I am gonna get annoyed if Maya and Cam break up, they are so cute and they only just started dating and I know i’m just gonna be really annoyed by the consequences of the Maya-Zig kiss

I agree with everything. Maya and Cam just got started, and they are so cute together. If they broke up for other reasons, it would be better; but cheating is a whole other ball game. And Zig and Maya have nowhere near as much chemistry as Maya and Cam together. Zig and Tori have a little. And I am SO excited for Beckdam. I think they adorable together and their last scene in Scream was so lovely. But I think the writers will tear them apart before they actually get together.
P.s, did anyone else notice that there was like a “photo shoot” lamp (not sure if it actually was though) behind Clare? she’s probably just taking pictures for a project and Helen assumes something else. I could be wrong though.

Do you think maybe it could be that eli and clare are macking, like really going at it, and clare is touching eli under his shirt so he thinks “wow im getting lucky” and takes of his shirt, then clare jumps from the bed throwing eli off to the other side, and has a look like “we weren’t going there!” and eli’s thinking “oh shit i screwed up” and thats why he puts his hands in the air, then to make thinks even more akward helen walks in?
Because they both look so awkward standing on OPPOSITE sides of the bed, clare with a look that says wow you jumped the shark and eli with a look that says fuck i just totally screwed up.
Im thinking that after throwing her self at 2 different guys only to be rejected, clare’s thinking that she’s really not going to have sex and maybe discovers that her vow is something she wants to keep. That would suck for all eclare fans… i would metaphorically die.

yeah ofcourse, it really is about what the writers want to do and the story coordinators and all that jazz… though im pretty sure that if he had an idea and wanted it to happen he could make it happen. But its not like he’s going to be like “writers its the eclare show write eclare more.” They probably do it because they are the most popular… remember when emma started getting so much screen time? then manny? and darcy?
I dunno, while i’m happy they get so much, i do see the point of people who don’t like them… As great as the final scene was, they did get the final scene in season 11… This makes me think that they won’t get the final scene of season 12 *which i really wanted it to be clare saying goodbye to eli not because i hate them together but because im sure he’s going bi bi)

I think maybe Allie is just learning how to drive and Dallas is helping her. I don’t think they’ve had a Driver’s Ed storyline yet. Maybe he’s even the “teacher”, since Degrassi lets students run everything.

This is has been great so far. One thing that is baffling me. Do Eli and Clare’s parents know that they are dating again? It makes me wonder if Eli’s & Clare’s parents will have a serious problem with them dating again due to their past distructive relationship. I can actually see that happening. Because we all know how worried Bullfrog was. We all know Eli is aloud to date but Clare is a different story. IDK???

Honestly, in the later Degrassi seasons, the writers seem to really try to include parents and drama with the situations the main characters are going through, but the only time it works is when the plot is about the parents (Alli). In this half of the season, and many others, parents make cameos and help move the story along, but it doesn’t go much deeper than that. (Anya/Coke, Katie/Codeine, Clare/Sexual Harassment, Eli/Most of his troubles). I will say though that Bullfrog was very good in helping Eli in Season 11 and making a lot of appearances showing genuine concern for Eli, but this season he is absent, just like Clare’s mom talks with Ms. Oh and Clare about a serious situation, with the Mom not being on air in this whole span of episodes for 45 seconds.
Degrassi isn’t very good about parental inclusion, unless the plots center on an issue the main character is dealing with that deeply includes their parents (Imogen/Her dad’s demetia)
I’ve always had that though about the later degrassi seasons, and it irks me a bit, but theres just not enough time to develop so many characters in a show like Degrassi.

I feel that you guys are just really hating on everyone. Drew does not take up too much airtime, I think it’s planned just right. Why everyone is saying that about Drew I know for sure everyone who is negative is waiting on the scene where Bianca and him tell his mother she’s pregnant and the story behind it. And like this eclare situation shutup because you all also want to know why Eli shirt was off in clares room so just leave it alone. Dallas is okay but he’s not all what you guys are saying he is. So worried about the guys on the show , but they aren’t worried about none of you. They are still going to make their money either way.
