Before we get into DJ’s Stephen Stohn interview, TEENNICK has posted a sneak peek from the Season 11 premiere.
It’s the scene where Sav and Keke Palmer’s characters first meet. I laughed…it’s hard to take this seriously seeing as how we know Keke’s only appearing in this one episode.
Also, congrats to Degrassi for being nominated for an Emmy. How good are Degrassi’s chances of winning? MUCH better than one would assume. Yes, they’re in the same category as Wizards of Waverly Place, Victorious and iCarly(one of the highest-rated programs of any show under the Nickelodeon umbrella of networks). But anyone who has done a little research will tell you that for at least the last decade these what I call “fun and fluffy” shows usually do not win when there’s a nominee that takes a more serious approach (aka documentaries). Wizards won last year only because there were no documentaries. Right now I assume “A Child’s Garden of Poetry” is the frontrunner…and I’d be thoroughly shocked if Wizards, Victorious or iCarly won. And since Degrassi entered “My Body Is A Cage Pt. 2,” aka the episode dealing with the first ever main character on tv that’s transgender, I like their odds to sneak away with a win.

Holy cow, Stephen Stohn is a talker!!!! I think if you sat down with him at a bar and got him drunk enough, you could get some amazing Degrassi stories out of him. DJGENERAL, who interviewed several cast members during Season 10, did an audio interview with The Stohn.

Pretty interesting interview. Mostly stuff we’ve known already. All you really need. To know:
– don’t count on fitz returning
-there are no plans to end the show anytime soon
– 1121 should be good.
– keke palmer is a hardcore degrassi fan, and it was teennicks suggestion to work her in
– they did record that choir version of the theme, but didn’t like how it turned out
-stephen comments on the afd backlash
– they’re staying away from a suicide plot till they can figure out how to work it in.

Fitz not returning is fine with me. Dude was a joke that weighed 100 pounds soaking wet and they tried to pass him off as a bully.
Sad that Ms. Kwan is likely not going to be back. Kinda give you the nostalgia factor (Btw, season 2 has been on the past few days)
Highly doubt any cast member is killed off.
Season 11 is hopefully going to be less Eli and Clare centric, which is great, because they almost ruined season 10. They are without a doubt 2 of the worst cast members of all time. It’d be like focusing an entire season on Teri, that’s how awful they are.
Kary, can you get rid of that background. Or at least change the centering so I don’t have to look at Jenna every time I go to this site.

LOOK! A picture of Drew and an obvious gang member in Idioteque! I knew it! I knew the Drianca storyline wouldn’t conclude in Spring Fever. Even if it will have limited commercials and be like 50 minutes long (as opposed to the usual 44 minutes), I knew Drianca/Anson drama wouldn’t end that early. I’m still counting on Drew dying in idioteque if not Spring Fever. Who cares if they say that the “unexpected death” is in Spring Fever.

After seeing so many episode titles being wrong and that whole page just being generally screwed up, I take back what I said. I’m still counting on Drew dying but who knows if the Drianca/Anson drama continues in Idiotque.

I have an idea. Mind you it’s kinda farfetched. The Spring Break Movie is technically part of season 10 & Fitz wnt be returning for season 11 so what if he is the person who dies or something.

The interviewer didn’t ask Stephen why cast members are unceremoniously dropped into the Bermuda Triangle without so much as one word about them. Peter doesn’t even get one episode for his departure. That’s f***d up.

in part 1 of this interview, stephen stohn says that six are graduating. the six that are graduating MUST be Sav, Holly J, Anya, Chantay, Riley and Zane. that means that stephen stohn just basically confirmed that fiona IS being held back a year.

episode 1121 is called Extraordinary Machine, so i bet this episode is gonna be about adam coming to terms with the physical realities of being transgender. it makes sense because stephen stohn it is one of the most powerful episodes of season 11 and in season 10, one of the powerful episodes is My Body Is A Cage and that episode was about adam too.
