This has nothing to do with this post but I was just thinking about the episode plot transitions (or lack thereof). I wish that the writers would continue a main plot through to the next episode as a C plot or somethng. For example: after My Body is a Cage then next episode was Tears Dry on Their Own. While both episodes were done nicely I think that the My Body is a Cage plotline could have been featured as a C plot to show the end of the plotline within the school. Becasue while it ended nicely in the personal aspect of the plot, we really didn’t see the wrap up of the plot at school. Also, maybe the B plot could be a buildup to the next episode. So, the B plot in Tears Dry on Their Own could’ve been about the football teamgetting ready for the final game of the season, leading into the next episode which was Still Fighting It. This way, each A plot has a slight buildup (B plot in previoius episode), a solid plotline (A plot in featured episode), and a quiet fade away (C plot in following episode). Does that make sense? I hope so; just thought it was a good idea.

I understand what you’re talking about, and yes that would be so nice to see that ever plot has a setup as B or C plots. But still it’s probably complicated to do that considering they gave almost every character on the show as a regular their own storyline to follow through! ((Bianca is one who haven’t got nothing.))
Yes, I feel like they should do that. It’ll be more realistic of how this all got started and etc. I like that idea New-be That was awesome!

i think eli just looks faded because of the lighting and glare in the studio when stohn took the picture. it doesn’t look the kind of thing that there would be a picture of . . . so maybe a flashback?

See, now I’m suspicious. Eli and Julia look … alike. And it could definitely just be the goth-ish thing they’ve got going on, but they’re also not showing any physical comfort in that picture. at all. You’d think he’s have his arm around her or something of the sort.
Which makes me think of Eli’s mom in the hearse saying, “When WE lost Julia,”. That struck me as odd; sure, she was apparently living in their house, but was Julia THAT close to the family?
It’s almost enough to make me think siblings. Almost. But that implies Eli has waaaay more going on than we figured. That would be a hell of a coverup.

umm..no becuase in that espisode it is stated that julia moves in with them becaue she was having trouble with her parents..i think eli’s mom sais something like her and her father didnt get along!! my god, i cant believe some people call themselves degrassi fans!

LOL oh i forgot about that :/ But surprisingly most degrassi cast members are older than they are portrayed. Most are 17/18. Hell,Eli is 20 in real life. Oh and i forgot my favorite dream couple: Enna! Eli and Jenna! That would be the best :) He should break up with Clare for Jenna.

Haha well I was mainly talking about how Luke Bilyk who plays Drew just turned 16 and Cassie Steele who played Manny is 21 and a few of them are teens while others are adults and may just look awkward because of that despite their actual age lol

At first i was wondering why eli was so…transparent? (i had a weird theory he was a ghost. ya no..) but it kinda looks like he is looking at the picture and he’s reflecting off it? Thats probably when he sees what “strange” thing that happened to the photo…just a guess?

Eli stole the hearse from Julies funeral. Her body is probably still in the back of the hearse. I mean hes a hoarder so he cant get rid of anything. Im jk lol, It would be very creepy and unrealistic but how amazing would that be if Clare found that haha.

… I’d be ALLLL for that. Julia’s dead body better come back and seduce Eli’s fragile mind. At this point, it is my firm belief that every Eli fan girl should drop dead. I’m sorry, but let’s be honest. As a soon-to-be 15 year old who’s been watching Degrassi since the age of 7, it does get a tad bit annoying, what with Eli fangirls going ‘OOH OH GOD. HE’S SO GORGEOUS. HE GON MAKE MY OVARIES EXPLODE <3' like seriously, no… Just stfu.

I find them annoying, too. I mean, I don’t see the appeal, really. Eli’s cute, sure, but nowhere near as hawt or sexyyy as everyone seems to see. He’s got a really nasty, annoying side too (like how he wouldn’t let the thing with Fitz go) and the hoarding means he has some real problems (but who doesn’t on Degrassi?).
That said, I hope Julia does come back, but not alive. It may be creepy, but I like the idea of her body still being in the back of the hearse. We don’t have to actually see the body (heaven forbid! I can imagine her skeleton…>___< DO NOT WANT), but I'd like to see Clare freaking out about the casket. :)

if ya look on the right by julia, you can see a border?? maybe eli is showing clare who julia was. maybe why he looks “transparent” is because of a glare in the TV? i highly highly doubt [though it would be cool] that julia is in the back of morty. no, i dont think she’s gonna come back 1/2 alive as a skeleton.

The only thing I could think of was the border being the picture frame, cause if you look at the episode where Clare and Adam get into Eli’s room it shows the picture of Julia in the same exact stance, and the frame is black.. But the backgrounds kinda look different..?

all this talk of julia being a corpse/zombie is making me laugh. obviously it would never actually happen on the show (her being in Morty is far-fetched, even for degrassi, and say what you might, but this show is not supernatural), but it would be a great idea for a halloween special for next year . . . julia could come back as a zombie or ghost or something and try to steal eli back from clare . . .

what I think is It’s going to be a “fade to flashback” scene. Eli holds the photo and looks at it, then the sides fade out to the flashback. That’s why Eli’s all faded out and see-through. It’s just not the complete scene yet. I don’t know just a thought
