Season 9 has been really good so far, but this is the week I’ve kinda been dreading. That’s because Holiday Road and Start Me Up don’t look or sound even remotely interesting. Three things I’m hoping for:
1) Emma stops acting like an emotionless robot.
2) Peter either relapses or is tempted to relapse with his meth addiction.
3) I’m hoping these episodes prove me wrong, and end up being good.
Holiday Road
Emma and Kelly make a pit stop at Degrassi while on their Cross Country Bike Adventure. Emma is going to have the best summer as long as she can keep her huge secret from her parents, Snake and Spike.
Start Me Up
Peter needs cash for university next year. Opening a club above the Dot is a great solution as long as he’s able to stay clear of temptation.

ya well none of that happened. nothing remotly interesting happened in this episode. What a shame. The show used 2 be much better.i remeber the Craig, AShley, Ellie, Jimmy, Marco, Paige, and Hazel dayes. AHHHH MEMORIES :)

Well, on the plus side the B plot for (I think Holiday Road) is Holly J and Declan, and I can put some stock in that.

Canada’s gonna air new episodes this Sunday, take a break on 11/29, then air Why Cant This Be Love 1 and 2 on 12/6. After that I think they’re taking a break for the holidays. Its sad because they’ve almost aired the entire season in Canada already! :-(

i thought these two episodes were good. they gave us a happier side of degrassi life, and i think it’s a good balance between the recent drama we’ve seen. plus, peter was pretty funny in start me up. and i LOVED the clare subplot! it definitaly shows they aren’t over!
