CANADA: Degrassi Goes Hollywood Screening Details

Degrassi Goes Hollywood  might’ve already aired here in the U.S., but don’t feel left out Canadian fans…you’re getting a special treat!!  You have a chance to attend the Degrassi Goes Hollywood screening at the Bloor Cinema on August 26, at 7pm, as well as win a trip to Hollywood!!

Here’s how to enter (from the official rules):

TO ENTER the WIN A TRIP TO HOLLYWOOD: PARADISE CITY: DEGRASSI GOES HOLLYWOOD (the “Contest”) simply pick up a wristband available at 299 Queen St. W. (John Street entrance) on Friday, August 21, 2009 between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. It’s first come first serve, and enter in person at Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor Street West, Toronto, ON, M5S 1Y3, at the screening of PARADISE CITY: DEGRASSI GOES HOLLYWOOD movie at 7:00 p.m. on August 26th,and complete the official entry ballot.

The prizes are:

Grand Prize: 1 person will win a trip for two to Hollywood
Second Place: 3 people will win a Degrassi shirt, a soundtrack CD and a trip to the Degrassi set!

So the contest isn’t what I thought….I thought the contest was you would be allowed into the screening if you won, but that’s not the case.  All you have to do to get into the screening is get there at the meeting place on the 21st and get a wristband before they run out.

If you ask me, screw the grand prize…that trip to the Degrassi set is where it’s at! I’m officially jealous of all of you who get to enter, because you have to be a resident of Ontario to win.
