If you’ve read my blog post about Degrassi’s cancellation on TeenNick and MTV Canada, then you already know season 15 is happening. In the endless sea of entertainment articles that were written by people who either don’t watch Degrassi or don’t know what the hell is going on behind the scenes, Entertainment Weekly was the first to definitively state Degrassi is proceeding with season 15. Despite the Epitome team’s silence throughout this ordeal, there’s been mounds of information over the past several days to confirm Degrassi isn’t dead, down to the exact date production for season 15 is scheduled to start (June 15th).
Kevin Smith is the latest person to again confirm that Degrassi’s cancellation on TeenNick and MTV Canada doesn’t mean the show is leaving TV forever:

We don’t need to #SaveDegrassi because, for at least another season, it’s not going anywhere.

I just saw on teen nick that they are having one last season and it starts July 20th and its every night for 2 weeks straight

I’m so confused I have no idea when it’s coming back to teenick to finish what it started with the baby and Clair and Eli idek anymore like I’ve been waiting and watching and now I’m hearing it’s cancled? Omg😫 I’m so confused did it com back to teennick it’s June 26 now have they already been showing degrassi on teennick and I missed it or what? I really wanna see what happens to miles and mya a mad zig and Zoe and I don’t know have I missed it already? I’m scared that I did please help me anyone
